Mumbai

Year 2014

At XXX University Grand Hall,

MC: Next up, we have the top students of Class 2008 in BA Psychology,

Mr Aditya Kumar and Miss Pankhuri Gupta.

Adi and Pankhu go up the stage and receive their degree certificates and medals and as they come down, they look at each other and smile. 3 long and tough years had passed since they started their journey in XXX University and finally, they had graduated. As they made their way out of the hall, they saw their family waiting.

Nanu and Dadaji were all smiles as they blessed the two of them.

Avantika: Adi, Pankhu, I am so proud of you!

Anuj: Haan, Avantika, it is time for us to step back now! It's time for the younger generation to lead

Preeti: Very true Bhai!

Adi: Maasi... Stop pulling our legs

Harish: Preeti is right Adi! We need a break too... But now, let's head home!

All of them head back to the Deewan Mansion along with the Gupta Family.

Just as they enter,

Confetti is showered on them at the doorstep!

Kaira, Rubel, Payal: SURPRISE!

Adi: Rubel. You guys are back?

Adi and Rubel share a hug.

The gang proceed to the living room while the rest of the family disperse to do their own work.

Adi sits beside Pankhu and Rubel sits beside Payal. Kaira sits in between Pankhu and Payal.

Adi: So how long are you guys here for?

Rubel: Till the end

Kaira: Haan Bhaiyaa. We are done with studies and our graduation is next month. We'll fly back to get our certificates and will settle here.

Pankhu: Then what was the rush to come here when you would be settling here in a month's time?

Payal: Come on Pankhuri, how could we miss your wedding?

Adi and Pankhu look at each other in shock.

Kaira: Don't you know about this?

Dadaji: No they don't

Pankhu: Dadaji...

Nanu: Haan Pankhu, this is your graduation surprise!

Adi: But Nanu...

Avantika: No Buts Adi. I don't think this should be delayed.

Ambika: I agree with Avantika.

Pankhu: Isn't a month too short?

Harish: 25 days to be exact. We've already done the planning so don't worry Pankhu.

Diwakar: We were going to let you know during dinner. Nevertheless, Pankhu, we will be here for another 3 days and then will be going back to Kullu.

Adi: But...

Sameer: Adi, she'll be all yours in 25 days. It's only fair you let her spend time with her family in Kullu.

Preeti: And Pankhu, tomorrow, we'll be finalizing the clothings and accessories for the functions.

Sheila: The day after we will be having Rubel and Payal's Saagai

Anuj: Then you will be leaving to Kullu but you will be back in 17 days so that we can start the necessary rituals.

Adi: Rubel is getting engaged?

Rubel: Haan Adi, Mom kept pestering us so we decided to get engaged.

Kaira: Anyway Adi Bhaiyya, we will leave after your wedding rituals.

Adi and Pankhu look at each other and Adi holds on to Pankhu's hand.

Preeti: So Adi, you technically have a whole afternoon and evening to spend with Pankhu.

Adi: Maasi...

Nanu: Yes, Adi take Pankhu out.
