Many of my friends think, nowadays PKDH is boring
and many others think the opposite.
I am not going to contradict any opinion but trying
to understand, why this difference in opinion.
Currently, PKDH is almost always in top 5, in the TRP chart
as well as in the UK chart.
So many people are watching the show.
Why ? Even with so much negativity in the show ?
Today's USP of Hindi shows are 90 % negative tracks
and 20 % positive tracks.
Look at other shows, you will get the same impression.
When we like and love a show, we actually love the lead pair
as well as other protagonists.
And we expect all tracks will be positive.
Then why negative tracks ?
In negative tracks, the protagonists are in problems
and the antagonists create hatred in the viewers mind
against them. With time and incidents, this hatred increases
and everyday expect that the now the protagonists
will take the revenge. Everyday we are expecting that Adi and
the Kumars, with Rubel and Kaira will beat the Manorama's
in their own game.
And in the process, the audience is hooked to the show.
TRP Aunty is happy.
We always think " we shall overcome someday ".
Myself and some of my friends watch shows,
Track to Track basis.
Right now, I am not watching the show and waiting for the
track to change. I have no liking for the Manorama antics.
Some negativity was always there.
In the past, we used to enjoy the Sheila antics - Dholpur Ki Rani
and Mama's " Chutki Bajake ".
Today's negativity is too much for me.
Always wishing, Adi-Pankhu to win, but like that cute boy
in the picture, my thirst remains unquenched.
