DO WE TAKE FREEDOM FOR GRANTED?

We ask TV actors if they feel the youth of today has a sense of entitlement towards independence

'Many don't even know the names of our freedom fighters'

NAKUUL MEHTA

"I think it would be unfair to generalise and say that the youth of this country takes freedom for granted. I feel this generation has had to make greater efforts to strive and thrive. In the time we live in, there are huge pressures and more competition; the world becoming a global village. I feel there is a greater sense of patriotism and pride we bring to the work we do than our predecessors, and hence there is no question of taking our freedom for granted."

'The government needs to get more responsible'
