that's what i was thinking when i first saw her reaction, but i very much doubt it. it would spoil the tone of the show and nanaji's character. besides, this is SP, so it will probably be something safe and predictable like a misunderstanding or resentment over money/property etc.

What I see right now is that Kaira is def a positive character (probably why CVs sent preeti away-so that there would be no personality conflict as they seem to be similar in nature)
Pankhu will tell Kaira everything and Kaira will help her out
I def thought abuse could've been a possibility, but the way I see it now, she def respects nanaji a lot (the warning she gave pankhu about treating nanaji w/ respect), she may just have gotten scolded by him a lot as a kid and maybe that's why she's hesitant around him, could be due to rustication or otherwise (she may perceive him as very strict and just tries to avoid him to avoid getting in trouble)

Kaira must have some connection to nanaji's wife's death. Or, at least, she "thinks" so. It could be her misunderstanding that she is responsible for her death- a guilt/misunderstanding that she grew up with.

It's to do with the flashback scene of little Kaira hearing about the injection...
