The Many Shades of Avantika

I have always said that Avantika's character goes deeper than what is shown. From her actions and her emotions you can tell that she is deeper than the top layer of her ego.

We are finally getting to see the inner side of Avantika.

When she left Harish, she invested everything into business. She turned her dard into ego and power. She has been fueled by years of hurt and misunderstandings. She channeled all of that into working and building a business, but she was never all about property or money. Never once did she show arrogance when it came to money. In fact, she has always been fair even with the Gupta's when it came to money.

Her ego was all about her pain from the misunderstanding. Now that she realized she has been wrong, and there has never been anything between Harish, she's let go. She let go of her overly arrogant attitude and became her previous self.

Even through flashbacks we have seen that she was not this arrogant before. In fact she was really soft. She's always been stubborn, and we have seen that still, but she's sensible.

She never really cared about money over family. And she's shown this through giving up her position to Anuj if it means everyone still living under the same house.

I don't think this is showing inconsistency with her character, rather the many sides of her. Well done CV's.. Well done.

Agreed! I think I remember seeing someone post that the whole Avantika accepting Pankhuri scene was just way too sappy and out of character. But I don't think so at all. That is who Avantika is underneath all that pain like you said. We saw that even when Adi was leaving to go to his Dad's place for the 15 day condition. And we all know that she's been fair and she never hated Pankhuri but instead her actions. I think Avantika is a far more interesting character even when compared to Sheila who's character is very static. Who only seems to hold the trait of greed and everything evil. With Avantika, she reacts accordingly and not to forget, differently towards each situation. Anyways as you said well done CVs!!

Hehe, but coming back to your post, YES 101% agree. That's the reason I made this post. I've seen in a few places that her character is inconsistent and I was like WOAH, hold up, one thing the CVs have been exceptional about was keeping ALL the characters consistent. So I paid close attention to see if it was true when I was watching yesterday.

Her character is not at all inconsistent but like I said, it's showing the depth of her character. Rahul even stated in an article ones that Avantika isn't just what she appears to be. She's one of the most dynamic characters on PKDH. We are just beginning to see what all she is capable of.

Throughout, we have seen soft sides to her. Like you said with the 15 day challenge, when Adi was going to live with Harish, we saw the sadness in her, leaving her son. When Harish finally agreed to a divorce, there was a scene where Avantika is speechless and in shock. Deep down she never imagined that he would agree.

Her character is not at all inconsistent, but so true to what she really is. The CVs have so far done a good job of showing all sides to her in small pieces throughout!

BEHNAAA!!! 🤗 Yes I have missed you (well on IF that is, since we tweet each other everyday😆😛) That's exactly what I've been doing with Disha. People said she needs to work on her emotions. I mean I still think she could do better but since it's only been a couple of months working as an actor I totally understand. But during the kiss scene, I thought her emotions were much better. She actually smiled to show her contentedness instead of keeping one emotion on her face.

Good analysis. Definitely there is more to Avantika. 😃

Appearances can easily deceive us & we are now seeing different shades of her personality(Kind, Feeling for others & Understanding); But she still has retained her perception(Looking at Anuj Diwan when he is all ready with legal papers & pen)
