What if I had stepped into CV's shoes for a day?

Harish said Adi, he knew about Pankhuri from the beginning of the alliance. It set few questions. Was there a surprise reaction when he met Pankhuri's family? I don't think so. Preeti was sweet to Pankhu from day one. Harish's words, she was against it from beginning will not justify her behavior. Harish, Preeti believing Gupta's family have no part in it, has taken the drama quotient out. This is what I would have liked to see, but cannot. (Inspiration 70's movies, Amar Prem_vaali kind). 😊

Pankhu's uncle never wanted to leave Preeti. He went to Kulu and asked for his Dad's permission to marry her. But Pankhuri's Dadaji did not give his consent because he feared, a rich girl from Bombay cannot be a right bahu like Ambika. Chachu getting furious left the house, met with an accident which made him disabled. 😲 He didn't want to meet Preeti, he thought she would do better without him. Nor he went to parent's house ever, as he was upset with them.

Harish, Preetii never knew Pankhu had another uncle.

On the anniversary party, Preeti spills the beans and reveals the name of the person to clear the misunderstandings. This would make Guptas shocked. Preeti tells Avantika, she never knew about this misunderstanding, Or else, she would have sorted it long ago. Avantika feels ashamed for suspecting Harish and regrets wasting her precious years because of a hasty judgement.

Adi's Dadaji enquires Pankhu's Dadaji, wherther he knows any Gupta by that name and says he will not spare the man who spoilt his daughter's life. Before Pankhu's dadaji say anything, Chuti Bajake maamu intervenes and says he will try to find out from DM saab. His intention is solely to save Pankhu, as he is scared of her future.

Everything looks hunky dori; Harish-Avantika's love as well as tu tu-mein mein, Adi consummating with Pankhu (okay, I would grant Sab's wish for a kiss too 😉 ) . Meanwhile detective Sheila will dig out the truth about Pankhu's uncle 😈. Hell breaks loose. Everyone turns against Pankhu and her family now, including Adi. Adi will not believe in Pankhu's innocence this time, he feels at least she should have got a clue from the name. Pankhu's explanation, how on Earth she would imagine her chacha came to Mumbai and fell in love with a girl, when no one in family spoke about him - would not satisfy Adi. 😕 Adi's Dadaji feels, Pankhu's Dadaji let him down by not revealing anything, even after he saw how Preeti's life was ruined. Avantika as usual insults Pankhu. Sheela putting Masala. Only Preeti and Harish try to remain quiet. Pankhu cannot withstand the heat. She feels anyway her mission of uniting family is successful and leaves the house.

Harish meets Pankhu's chacha and finds out the truth. Preeti calmly analyses the situation. When modern people like Diwans did not feel comfortable with Latika, Dadaji's initial resistance was justifiable she thinks. She blames Pankhu's chacha more. She feels he did not believe in his love. For him, his disability was bigger than his love. If he had not thought so, they could have united. Eventually Pankhu's Dadaji also would have reconciled like Avantika. Harish would understand Gupta's quietness in the party. When he could remain silent for decades to save Preeti's life, it was natural for Guptas to remain silent for Pankhu's sake - he feels.

They will finally convince Adi to call Pankhu back in his life. Adi meets her, but she has turned bitter. 😔 She feels, Adi betrayed her by not trusting her. Avantu trys to convince but she sarcastically remarks, "Aunty, you kept saying Adi and me do not match. I took long to realise it". She refuses to come back. Harish gets bitter with Avantika. He feels Adi's impulsive behaviour is because of Avantu's influence. Harish blames Avantu for their split.

Now Sab's Abhimaan_vala separation for Adi Pankhu . 🤣 🤣Avantu deciding to unite the young couple...

Your writing is coherent and logical...even the characters are consistent; especially Govardhan who surely would try to "manage" in his own way👏...Honestly every single character you describe fits the bill perfectly. Your writing brought back the memories of PKDH from June to August... the early stage of PKDH with a simple story of love gone wrong by loving interference of well wishers & some unavoidable circumstances.

Wish CVs would think like that or atleast read your thread. Reading your piece made me feel optimistic again...as if t's still possible to salvage the original plot...I know my optimism is not going to last... CVs have fallen into the trap of TRP and lost their way...🥺
