Out, damn'd spot! out, I say! and I would close my eyes.Hand washing in TV and movies bring bad memories of learning about Macbeth in childhood.

For once I didn't close my eyes... during today's episode when Panchuri feverishly tries to wash away the mehendi stains from her hand. I thought it was symbolic... no matter how hard this girl tries to erase the feeling of love from her heart ...she cannot... the stains have deepened (much like her love) and cannot be washed off! I am impressed at the deep implication and the skillful execution of that symbolic shot by Rajsree Production. I forgive all the silly gaffes they have made so far... it has restored my faith again that PKDH is different from other shows.

Oh Thanks Fawaz... did you notice Pankhuri is also stopped twice before she reaches the privacy of a washroom? Once incidentally by Avantika (she is her biggest hurdle cos Avantika hates her and also Adi's mind is poisoned by Avantika's selfish whimsies) and then accidentally by Shivam (who is here to stay and pick PK up when she falls). These 2 people were creatively put in her path by the CVs. I love these nuggets with deeper meanings... good job CVs.

And our Hero Adi... thoroughly enjoying Sangeet.. blissfully unaware of what consequences a marriage of convenience will bring.

Siham... I haven't really seen any other Hindi Serial. but whenever I have passed my parent's living room where they are glued to the shows all I have seen is that ... someone has said something like ---- yey Shadi nehi hoga or somehing and the camera spins on circular tracts ... it keeps rotating for minutes focusing on every single living being in that room & everyone has their mouth open... they keep panning on nana nani dada dadi bichchu littoo ramu shamu shanky hanky the dog the bird ... even the Tiktiki on the wall is shocked... I hate those shots...extremely nauseating... So far I haven't seen those gaping shots as much in PKDH... they atleast believe that the audience has some brain & intellectual capacity... the other shows... blah!

Nice post Sabi. I agree with your take. It was the only part of the episode that really grabbed me, apart from the disinterested 'you also look nice' from Adi to Latika 😆

Ironically those two hurdles were also the reason the mehndi stayed on longer making the colour deeper. So even if they are the blatant hurdles, they could also indirectly be the reason of bringing PaYa closer.
