Here's the last part to the OS. Again, it's not intense or anything, just a light sweet PaYa moment. I wanted to write a scene that could have been a possible scene in the serial and just create it from my own perspective. So sorry if I disappointed you guys.. And hope you guys still read it!

It took a moment for Pankuri to regain herself while trying to answer still speechless, "Y-you're going to stay here… tonight?? Adi! There is no need for that! I am fine. Please, you go and get some sleep. You need it."

"Shut up Pankuri! Stop acting like you are fine. You are not fine, you are seriously hurt. What if you need something in the middle of the night? Besides, you think I will be able to sleep with the thought of you alone and hurt? No way. I am staying here. End of discussion, don't argue with me!"

Even I will not be able to sleep tonight; with you here, your presence so strong, so overwhelming. How can I ever sleep with you so close to me? Pankuri mentally thought to herself.

But Adi spoke with such authority and firmness that she didn't have the guts to argue back. She was amused at the stern look he wore, his eyebrows pulled in, and those beautiful eyes, boring into hers, as if daring her to challenge him again.

"So I will sleep on the couch, you don't worry, and you sleep worry free. I am here if you need me."

Pankuri reluctantly settled into bed while Adi took his position on the couch, making sure to face her bed though so he could keep an obedient watch over his best friend. The thought of Pankuri nearly injuring herself even worse kept haunting him. What if I hadn't heard her scream, or couldn't make it on time? He kept mentally kicking himself for being so careless. He knew Pankuri was strong, so strong… and independent and fierce when needed. But she's also so innocent and delicate at the same time. He was actually sort of pleased with the turn of events. It's been so long since he had a chance to spend time with her. She's always on the run, making excuses to not meet him. He needs her, he needs his best friend. He's lost without her. Again, conflicting emotions did tumbles on his insides as he thought of the wedding. Uof this wedding! He just needed this wedding to be over with so he could get on with his life. This wedding is causing a rift between his friendship with her. If there is one relationship he values most, it's his friendship with Pankuri. But ever since the announcement of the wedding, Pankuri has pulled back, tightened up and started guarding herself and her emotions from Adi. He sees right through the lies and bull excuses she feeds about being busy and tired. Something is surely the matter. He will figure it out sooner or later. He needs her to talk to him. If she tells him she thinks he shouldn't marry Latika, then no questions asked, he will do as he says. Her opinions matter to him more than anything, but because of these new obligations to Latika as a fianc he can't even manage to make time for Pankuri like he's been wanting too. Inside the guilt was eating him up. All these thoughts kept him awake when suddenly he realized Pankuri stirring in her sleep. The tossing and turning turned into thrashing and instantly he was by her side, sitting on her bed. Her thick curtain of hair had gotten in the way of her face and he gently brushed it aside. In the process he stroked her cheeks, feeling her warmth and softness. He then slowly, without thinking, leaned in to place his lips on her forehead, letting it linger there for a few moments. He wasn't sure why he did that, but only knew he had to get rid of the tensed wrinkles on her forehead from her nightmare. His lips on her warm face gave him tingles that reached his toes. It was an interesting sensation, a positive sensation; making him feel warm all over.

Pankuri was having twisted dreams of Adi and Latika's wedding... reoccurring dreams that was a regular now. But this nightmare suddenly took a change in events and she dreamed Adi kissing her gently on her forehead.. . Suddenly she awoke from her slumber, the feeling of his lips so real to her that her heart was still beating frantically in her chest. She awoke to see the main attraction of her dreams by her side watching her as she regains her surroundings. Oh, maybe that's why my dream changed into that... maybe him being by my side had something to do with it... She thought, justifying the reason for the sudden change in dream.

"Adi… you're here? Why aren't you asleep?"

"I couldn't sleep Pankuri, and then I noticed you having a bad dream so I came to check on you… are you okay now? Do you need anything? Is your ankle hurting?"

"No, no Adi, don't worry, I'm fine. I have these dreams often. I can't sleep well anyways, but you should sleep Adi. How long will you keep watch over me?"

"As long as you need me to Pankuri. I will be by your side. Always.

HEY! I have an idea… Since clearly you will not sleep and you're too busy bothered about me, and I will not sleep till I see you are okay… why not both of us just stay awake together and have… what is it you girls have? A slumber party?"

Pankuri couldn't help but bursting out in laughter "Adi, tumbhe na.. But the idea is good, why not? You know, I use to have slumber parties with Neha all the time growing up. We would sneak down while everyone was asleep and get snacks…." And with that she delved in about stories growing up and all the mischief they got into as kids. It made Adi think that this is how a childhood should be… how a family should be, filled with laughter, closeness, warmth and security. Everything he felt when he was with Pankuri. Why can't time stand still and it be this perfect forever?

Adi lit all the candles Pankuri collected over time, filling the room with a beautiful soft glow and the smell of sweet vanilla. He felt relaxed, more relaxed than he had felt in an excruciatingly long time. All his previous tensions and irritations melted away. He was calm. An affect only Pankuri has on him. Adi then proceeded to move her to the couch with him, and covered them both in a blanket. The duo spent the night away laughing, sharing silly stories, revealing childhood secrets, and disclosing everything they could possibly think of, yet not enough. There was so much more they could talk about, every moment they shared still seemed too short for Adi.

"Pankuri, promise me something" Adi suddenly stated, leaning in close. His eyes filled with tenderness and warmth, his expression serious. "Promise me that you will not leave me. Promise me that you will always be here with me. No matter what. Promise me Pankuri." There was a frantic note in his voice, as if fearing she might not promise.

As if she had a choice…

Pankuri, choking back tears, and swallowing her love for him, swallowing the pain that caused her seeing him with Latika and not her, swallowing back everything, took a hold of Adi's hands firmly in hers and replied "I promise, as long as you need me, I will be by your side. Always."

So?? Whatchu guys think??

AHHH! OMGGG Loved this, it was too cute! Argh too many Adi feels haha I was literally gushing, I scared my Mum&Dad last night since I was wandering around the house with an idiotic smile😳😆. See the effect your OS' have on me?! ;P Anyways BRILLIANT, I am expecting the next part but you don't have to rush since I feel bad for threatening you so much anyway ;P lol I am probably going to read this for what seems like the 30th time today =PP
