But I found this interesting for two reasons.

1. The Rajshri charm being reinforced, and reminding the viewers unconsciously that this show will have a similar happy ending in spite of all the conflicts. A very good example of intertextuality actually.

2. The parallels between the situation of Adi-Pankhuri and Prem-Suman in MPK. Both of them started out as friends, but they will end up in a deep, fulfilling love for each other in spite of all their differences.

So...personally speaking, I think it's sweet...Just my POV:)

Hey... I know I can really also draw parallels from Prem-Suman and Adi-Pankhuri love story... 😳 A small town girl and a metro dude becoming friends and falling in love... 😛...But you know I watch NBT...in there they have this comparison of the lead love story to the housekeeper's parent story... whenever Mohan is in a dilemma abt his thoughts... Guru helps him by giving cues from his Parents' love story... 😆 I really feel if they want to promote MPK, HAHK...they can somehow bring the narration of the story in this lovestory...maybe show Dadaji or maasi or harish a die hard fan of this movie, and them helping PaYa through their journey helping them unerstand situations in their story by drawing parallels to Prem-Suman or Prem-Nisha story? 😃 ... or sometime when in future if PaYa fight... one of them watching this movie and somehow getting an idea of solving the problem ... 😳... this would be a nice way of including their movies, Rather than throwing the songs on RANDOM places like a discotheque in 2012... 🤣
TFS for sharing your views... you really made an awesome parallel ... ⭐️

@nasha... hey there is no problem with promotion...everyone does it ! 😉 ... and no one is finding faults here... it is just about promotions which can sometimes come across more as blunders and a bit forced... 😆 ... instead wouldn't you like if they showed PaYa talking about Prem-Suman love story and comparing theirs with it or getting love lessons from it etc., rather than just showing songs at random places for the sole reason they r churned by the same PH? 😳 Respect your positivity!

I Agree with you ...

But Adi believes that "love" thing is only possible in movies .. ( as he said before ) .. It's just a movie ... That completely doesn't matter if he believes in love in real or not 😊
Just My POV 😃

True...didnt think of it that way!

Very well said! I do agree that the moments could be placed better as you said. Like you, my dad was laughing when they played "Mere Rang mein" in the disco.

And i watch NBT... too. What a wonderful show! I like Guru's character a lot, especially the way he describes the marriage between his parents:)
