Pkyek 2 ??

Ohkay so after freeing from assignments, I watched Kuch toh hai Naagin.

And, man, it was like makers were actually trying to make pkyek 2 in a funny way. It actually looks like unofficial pkyek 2 attempt.

But can't come close to the graphics, beauty, suspense, pain, comedy and love of pkyek.

The FL is called Priya which reminds me of our Piya.

There is too much family drama and almost null college scenes even when kids are all students.

Every character is funny except for one or two brooding. They would joke and laugh even the elders, like what the?

Even the the production and direction are weird. They are shooting in mussorie (that makes me think they got idea from Dehradun only) but there are no aesthetics like pkyek had. The snow, the forests and the darkness. Even other genre shows used the location in better way.

The touching spark concept could make a perfect horror show but they didn't show it nicely and looked cringy.🤔

And did any one notice the effects when both the leads run in supersonic speed? Gosh it looked so weird. Abhay running looked nice despite lack of technology then. This one is funny and damn with lot of pauses.

The slow motion is too slow that it doesn't make sense and lookes comic.😵 if this is how they're gonna use technology then please don't use.

Which supernatural entity use his/her powers so openly? And even then no one questions or notice, not even the vampire? (I wonder how bicycle survived such speed*shuddering*)

P.S : I like the bantering of leads, its funny. They should actually make it romcom genre, the show will make more sense than horror, suspense or the sacrifice issue that they'll be adding soon.

Even the promos didn’t have that charm that pkyek’s initial promos had. The mystery aspect seems to be missing from what I’m getting 👎🏼

maybe that pkyek 2 news/rumor from back in august did have some merit, but it was referring to this show and not actually pkyek 2 🤣🤣 what a downgrade

Yup half angel. And I decided to pay a visit to naagin forum only to know that the angel is the one who cursed ML to darkness due to his mother's love 🤓 khud gulchare urao bakiyon ko shrap do🤢

She doesn't even give feelings of half angel except for an imagery dance in white dress where she gave angelic vibe for a second.

Exactly. The whole show seems comic with so much exaggerating effects. There is either too much colours or too much darkness. ( Maybe it is because I watched a show after long time but I personally feel they aren't paying attention to background and aesthetics.)

Leads don't have the charm of supernatural and seem very much normal. Now thinking even Ek deewana tha was better than this.

Whenever leads touch there happens to be a spark and something happens either around them or to them, sometimes leaves change colour and sometimes blazing fire. Their was a scene where the dupatta of FL started to burn when ML touched it.

This concept seems new and interesting but unfortunately isn't being shown well.

@bold now that does sound interesting sad it’s not being used to its full potential

Angels and their curses dude 🤣 they make no sense sometimes

background and aesthetics are just as important! 👍🏼 If you mess that up it can mess up immersion and the quality of the story

Ekta was good in background, don't know what happened to her here. Her every location seems either crowded or cramped in this show. And most important of concepts plus scenes are not being shown properly.

Feels like she is focusing more on family drama in this show, her and trp aunties favourite. 😆A khichdi to make it unique to every age😆

It was shown as intense actually 😆

Not sure. But even if I will, only to see how they're going to proceed with touch concept. Rest I'll skip like I did last night. 😏

I wouldn't honestly mind a PKYEK 2. Balaji has the source material, all the actors are available, so they can easily make a season 2 in a continuation format. If Ekta gets the original team on board I doubt she can f**k it up.

Maybe season 2 could be Abhay turning into a vampire a few years after their wedding and leaving PIya behind to save her life from some ancient vampires while Piya imagines he is dead.

The only character who I can't see returning is Panchi...she didn't add anything to the story...plus we don't want more drama off screen 😆

It doesn't have to be a daily soap, maybe just a weekend show.
