"Get out off the car you devil", i said to Siddharth . He opened the car's door & came out of it lazily.
"Now what? Can't i even drive on this road? Is this your private road or what?," he asked.
"You can drive wherever you want, just stop interfering in my life otherwise i will drive you to hell", I replied .
"Brother I am living in hell only," he answered giving a evil smirk.
"Siddharth, I am giving you a last warning, if you follow me & my girlfriend again then you have to pay for it,"I said angrily.
"I just wanted to see your girlfriend, after all I also want to know what special qualities she have that have make you fall in love again ", replied Siddharth.
"She is just a normal girl," I said. I knew if he comes to know that Pia is Maithili's look-alike then he will become more determine to possess her, therefore I lied to him.
"Well do you think I believe you? I knew this very well that she have something special in her, she can't be a normal girl. You haven't fell for anyone in these 200 years & then suddenly you forgot Maithili & fell this girl and you want me to believe that she is normal?," said Siddharth raising his left eyebrow.
"Then think whatever you want", I replied.
"I am going to find her very soon little brother," said Siddharth. I knew by this time Pia have safely reached home so I decided to leave. My main intension was to kill the time by engaging him in talks so that Pia could reach home safely in the meanwhile .
"You are wasting my time, I would better leave ", I said getting irritated.
"Bye bye little brother, will see you soon", he said.
I left him & was going towards home though the forest when I heard howling of wolves . I saw that I was surrounded by a large number of wolves. I knew I won't be able to fight with them alone because one Vampire can fight with 40-50 wolves at a time but it was 100 of them but still I didn't have any option other than fight back. The wolves came near me, their eyes were burning in the darkness. I took out my fangs to scare them but it don't have much effect because they also knew it very well that their numerical strength is much more than I can handle. But just as they were going to attack on me a strange thing happened, I saw suddenly they moved back & disappear in the darkness . I didn't understand what actually happened, I turned back and saw Siddharth!!!! He saved me but why? The wolves got frighten to see two vampires together because two Vampires can easily defeat hundreds of wolves.
"Why did you saved me?", I asked.
"Because I don't want you to die before I could take my revenge upon you. There won't be any fun if you die & I couldn't take my revenge . Only I have the authority to give pain to my little brother & no one else", said Siddharth.
For a moment I thought he really cares for me but how can I think like that? He doesn't cares about anyone other than himself. I left the place without saying a single word to him.
When I entered home I saw Pia was sitting on the couch with tensed face. She came running to me as soon as she saw me & said,"Thank God you are back safely. I was soo worried .
What happened after I left? Tell me everything".
"You know Pia sometimes I feel I don't understand Siddharth properly. He is soo weird", i said.
"Why? What happened? Plz tell me fast. This suspense is killing me", she said.
"Relax, everything is fine as of now. After you left , me & Siddharth exchanged some bitter words with each other which you don't need to know in details. But when I was coming towards home a large gang of wolves attacked me. One vampire can defeat 40-50 wolves at a time but there were almost hundred of wolves. I didn't know how to tackle the situation but at that moment Siddharth appeared & helped me. The wolves ran away seeing two vampires together", I said.
"Really? But why did he helped? He hates you right?", asked Pia.
"I also don't know why he did it. For a moment I thought maybe he really cares for me but soon he broke my illusion saying that he saved me because he doesn't want me to die before he takes his revenge upon me", I replied.
"What a strange fellow!! Anyway I am happy that you are back safely", said Pia.
"No Pia, the danger is still not gone. One thing I understood very well that this time he is targeting you & not me. We have to be extra-careful", I said.
"I don't have any thing to worry about because I know you will protect me from everything. Anyway ,can I sleeping with you tonight also?", asked Pia.
"Yes, from now on you are going to sleep with me only because I am afraid of your security ", I replied.
It was 3:00 A.M. , Pia was sleeping deeply on my chest like a baby when I heard a sound coming from the hall. I listened careful & understood that someone is opening our main door. I took a deep breath & got the smell of Siddharth coming from my hall. "Pia, get up, we have a intruder in our house. Siddharth is over here", I said shaking her to wake her up. She wake up from her sleep within a jolt hearing my speech & asked,"What are we gonna do now "?
"He have already entered our house so we have to go out from the back through the window", I replied .
"But how Abhay? We are on the third floor, we can't jump from here", said Pia.
"Trust me & close your eyes", I said taking her in my arms & we jumped from the window . On reaching down I released her & said, "Listen to me carefully, we can't escape if we run in the normal human speed so you are going to sit at my back holding me tightly & I will run in my highest speed, okay?".
"Okay," she replied agreeing with me.
She sat on my back & I started running in my highest possible speed. After 5-6 minutes Pia said,"Abhay plz stop for a moment, my head is spinning. You are running almost at the speed of light".
I stopped & said,"Pia , we can't stop for long otherwise Siddharth will catch us. I have never run away from danger like this before, I always used to face the danger but this time I don't want to take any risk because I have your responsibility upon me. "
"OMG!! little brother, you have found a look-alike of Maithili !!", Said Siddharth who was standing right in front of us!!
