Since i was free, i wrote this small update. Earlier i was planning to show the male lead in a negative sense, but was not sure if many would like to see him that way. So i've changed the plot . Read n let me know hw was it.

Chapter 4(a)

Three days, and still he couldn't take her out of his mind. Her words, her challenge; were still a fresh memory in his mind. Her laughter, her smile after that whole drama of being Mrs. Piya Abhay Raichand to get entry in his office, had featured in his dream ever since. He had no clue why this girl was disturbing his sleep, when he had no interest in her...but Mrs. Piya Abhay Raichand didn't sound that bad...

Abhay smiled at his thought and suddenly it struck to him that she'd definitely started dominating his mind and heart, and that too in mere 3 meetings, which didn't go quiet well.

He shifted his thoughts to the bride that passed by, and he caught the sight of the girl accompanying her. For a moment he thought that he was hallucinating. Dreaming about her like he'd been dreaming for the past few days.

Piya Jaiswal...It couldn't be? Could it?

Yes she was definitely here. Dressed in a beautiful pink lengha with hair tied in a side plate, looking like an angel. He could clearly hear the same laughter which has been a part of his dreams now, as she walked away with the bride.

Abhay had known Kabeer for years now and the two were very close now. He was the person who had helped Abhay during his initial struggle in business after his father's death. And he gad also been the one to support Abhay emotionally after Annie and Arjun's death. He was the sole person having idea about the guilt Abhay was in after Arjun's death.

Usually Abhay avoided weddings after his sisters death, but he couldn't say no to Kabeer. And now he was greatfull he had decided to attend the marriage- or else he would have missed seeing this beautiful angle.

Abhay scolded himself mentally for all such thoughts about her. How could he suddenly find this unworthy woman, who had been the invader of his dreams as beautiful?

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't help himself admiring her.

Having attend all the rituals of her friend, Misha's wedding, Piya got up from the mandap and helped Misha, who was loaded with a heavy bridal dress and jewellery towards the stage where the bride groom could sit.

Misha had been Pia's childhood friend and had even accompanied her to London for further studies. But after graduation she had flown back yo India and it was then she met Kabeer. After an affair for 5years, with loads of fun-filled fights and love, the two had decided to marry eachother.

Piya had arrived at Misha's hometown Jaipur two days back and since then she had been a constant witness off all the ceremonies before a marriage. It was tge first time she had attended all the functions and had been a part of all the fussing around and chaos of a marriage house.

Piya sighed. She was romantic at heat and wished to receive all the love of family and friends in a similar way before her marriage. But knew there was no one around to fulfill this eish of hers.

"You look beautiful, Piya." A deep voice was drawled behind her making her freeze as she recognised the person even before seeing his face.

After calming her ragged heart, she turned to look into a pair of light blue eyes, her mouth hanging open in shock. " What are you doing here?"

"I was invited!"

"Abhay, good to see you here. Wait! Let me call Kabeer, he would be so happy to see you." Misha spoke as she caught hold of Piya's hand and dragged her away even before Abhay could reply.

Misha was well aware of the previous encounters of the teo and Pia had detailed her with the way Abhay had behaved. Misha had been shocked to hear about his behaviour with Pia, because the rare times she had net him, he'd been quiet mature and sweet, though she had not told Pia all this.
Hence knowing all this, she did not want the two in another argument that too on her special day and hence had dragged Pia away.

All through this Pia's mouth was shut, but she was great full to Misha for saving her from the khadoos Raichand.

Over the next one hour, though she was trying hard to avoid him, but somehow everytime she looked up, Abhay seemed to be in her line of vision. And why not? He was the best looking man here with a presence about him that made him stand in the crowd.

The music turned on to a romantic number, as Misha and Kabeer opened the dancing and then the others followed them with their partners.

A smile played on Pia's lips. She was happy for Misha as her friend had found a very nice person to be by her side throughout her life.

She observed the couples dancing from a far distance. There were two reasons for her absence from the dance floor. First, she did not know waltz and second she did not have a partner
