CHAPTER 3
I waited for you...
( From her reader)
Hi
I'm sorry, i couldn't meet you yesterday. Got held up in something, or rather say with somebody. I know i had promised to meet you and would do so as soon as my friend's marriage ceremonies get over. Take care till then.
Bye
PS- Have you ever met a person who's irritated you like hell, done things to you which would make you hate him, but still you can't hate him?
Who's HE?
Well he's somebody I met in India. He's stupid, arrogant and a bas****. I don't like that man, and he has made it plain what he thinks about me: nothing...but still everytime i think of him( lately which is like always) my own innate honesty forces me to admit that i don't hate him, unfortunately. STRANGE!
( From PIA in response)

'What will you take to drive fast. We are already late for the office."
Abhay spoke out in frustration to the man driving the car. Usually Abhay avoided talking rudely to his staff, but today he couldn't help his behaviour. He was irritated, not with anybody, but himself.
He's been angry on himself on agreeing for a meeting with Piya Jaiswal the other day, which has changed his rationale way of thinking to more thinking about her. He's started behaving with less than his usual iron control. He's been acting totally out of character- usually he was the most controlled men- and now it had stopped. All thanks to her.
Her expectation that he would agree to help her keep a business she has no interest in and make money by whatever shares are in Annie's name, has infuriated him to the core.
And the way that little witch keeps on following him everywhere, as she dod yesterday night, makes him want to strangle her out of anger.
But at the same time, he can't stop thinking about the irrational urge he feels whenever he thinks about her. Which he's doing every second.
Kissing her had been a bad mistake, yet he still likes the faint taste of her on his tongue.
The sent of her, fresh and light, still lingers in his nostrils and the soft smoothness of her skin beneath his palm, still makes him crave for her touch. She was the woman he had told he never wanted to see again...
He can't remember the last time he'd been so attracted to a woman before: never.
He was guilty on himself because of his arrogant and rude behaviour with her twice. Once during the meeting and the other yesterday night.
He was sure about her intentions to get hold of the money, but today when he'd seen her helping an old man on the rode, has made him doubt his own decision about her. And that is the reason for hiring a private detective to know about Piya Jaiswal.
*********
Abhay exited the elevator at his office suite on the top floor. He walked towards his office, taking in the details of his next project from his secretary, when he literally bumped into Adi, his friend, co-worker, assistant, all in one.
His frown deepened as he saw Adi struggling with the words. " Speak up Adi. I don't have the entire day."
"Si...Sir, your wife is waiting for you in the cabin. You never told me that you got married, and too to such a beautiful girl." Adi made a face, complaining. But then he got scared of his bosses reaction which changed from frown to shock to anger as ge stormed into his office.

Piya looked at the man standing in front of her. He was dressed in a dark black suit, white shirt and a plain dark die. Even in his hard and unsmiling face, he managed to look handsome.
Scolding herself for drooling on him, she rose upto her feet and smiled at him, sarcastically.
"Abhay." She spoke his name politely and smiled the slightly rueful but sensual smile that was yet again seducing him.
"What the hell is this, Piya?" Abhay looked at her face as he spoke, gathering all the anger which was present a moment before he looked at her. He had to know the reason for her new drama.
Pia moved her one hand towards his cheek and pulled it in a playful manner." What! Can't a wife come and meet her husband."
Her eyes met his as she laughed. " Look at you...you're shocked!"
Abhay stood froze in his place, trying to understand the situation, when he couldn't as he was list in her laughter. Yes, for the first time he'd met somebody with the power to make Abhay Raichand shocked and absorbed in them. He was impressed with her.
" I got to know that you had instructed your people at office, not to let me anywhere near you." She spoke with the sarcastic sadness in her voice.
" So what other option did i have, than this?" She shrugged. " "No body could stop Mrs. Piya Abhay Raichand from entering. Right? So thats what i did. I told your staff here, who were not allowing me in that I'm your wife and you'd be angry if they don't let me in."
Her lips curved into a smile yet again, but her eyes were absent of any humour in them. And then her expression turned hard, cynical.
" You give yourself a lit of importance, but remember that not all run behind you." She said dryly, as if stating a fact.
"And as far as the factory is concerned, i'll see to it that i revive it completely. With or without your help."
Satisfied with her challenge, she walked out of the room, leaving a genuinely smiling Abhay behind.
