Chapter 3: Known Or Unknown?
Part A
The rain had stopped finally and the dark clouds that surrounded the atmosphere as a blanket of thick air have started to find its way back. It was nearing to afternoon now. The atmosphere looked soulful as a gentle breeze was blowing outside. It looked as if the leaves and twigs of every tree present in the forest was busy in swinging itself in some unknown yet melodious tune of nature. Every little thing about nature fascinated Piya who was busy admiring nature as always unaware of anything that was going on in Abhay's mind now!!!
As the white Fiesta went through the dense roads of the thick forest in the outskirts of Mumbai the atmosphere started changing slightly. The dark cloud started dispersing away slowly and the sky began to gain back its previous shade again. Inside the white Fiesta the ambiance was all calm and silent. Abhay was driving quietly as he was feeling unsure about his thoughts. His mind was lost somewhere where as his own heart was in dilemma. What was wrong with him? He met a girl just few minutes back then why is he feeling so strange after knowing that the girl was married?? What is his problem with the girl's martial status?? Its true that he wasn't expecting her to be married but he was not suppose feel so strange because of an unknown girl right??
Abhay was still confused about his own behaviour. His mind was filled with several questions that had no answer at all. He decided to do his job quietly and it was matter of few more days so, it was not that hard for him atleast he hoped so.
On the other hand piya was just lost in her own world. The silence didn't bother her at all, in fact she somewhere liked it. Time passed by but none of them was ready to break the silence both had their own different reason ofcourse!!!
suddenly the loud honking sound of some car's horn disturbed the long silence that prevailed between Abhay and Piya till now. Abhay finally noticed that they have reached the highway. He looked at Piya who was still busy staring outside.
"Stop the car near some resturant." Said Piya all of a sudden in somewhat authoritative tone making Abhay a bit astonished.
"Will u please stop ordering me? I am not your driver for god's sake" said Abhay feeling irritated now.
"Why the hell do you have problem with my each and every thing?? If you are not my driver then what are you doing in that driver's seat??" Said Piya now looking straight at Abhay
Abhay felt helpless now. He can't speak the truth out else he will get disqualified from the game. He decided to keep silence for now as further agreement may lead to some great damage!!!

After driving for some half an hour Abhay and Piya finally reached near a small street hotel. It was a ordinary hotel with a huge amount of crowd. Abhay was a bit reluctant at first to have some food at such a place but then on Piya's insistence he agreed. He parked the car nearby and opened the door for piya to step out. Piya gave a pleased look to Abhay and both finally went towards the resturant!!!
Inside the hotel
Most of the simple wooden tables and benches were filled with people. Abhay sighted a small table and bench at one corner which was the only vacant place left in the whole hotel. Finding no other way Abhay and Piya decided to sit there only. The bench was a small one that hardly had enough space for two people to sit properly. Piya made herself comfortable while Abhay felt a but uncomfortable as both of their body's touched each other side wise.
"This place is so crowdy" said Abhay in little bit irritated tone.
"You sound like some millionare" said Piya in a teasing manner.
"Don't talk about my financial status without knowing anything" Said Abhay in a little bit angry tone now.
"Really?? I can't believe this. A guy who works as a driver that too for a travel agency thinks himself a millionare" Continued Piya in her teasing manner again.
"you..." Abhay stopped in mid way.
"What me? Complete whatever u were saying please."
Said Piya in a curious tone now.
"Nothing. I don't need to give explanations to you" said Abhay in his unusual tone.
"You know what?? You are really strange. Anyways just order whatever you want to and a cup of tea for me" Said Piya in her usual authoritative tone.
"But why would you eat food of my choice??" Asked Abhay in his curious voice now
"Do u have to ask question for everything?" Said Piya in her irritated tone now.
Abhay gave a unbelievable towards Piya and decided not to argue anymore!!!
After twenty minutes the food finally arrived. Abhay had ordered one plate of chicken masala, six Tandoori roti's and a plate of chana paneer along with two cups of tea. Piya just had a cup of tea and a roti with chana paneer that too on Abhay's insistence. Abhay ate rest of the things hurriedly out of hunger. After finishing the food Piya paid the bill forcefully and left from there along with Abhay!!!
Inside the white Fiesta:
Piya was again sitting quietly and humming some tune in her own mind. Abhay was driving silently too but this time this silence was quite disturbing for him. He decided to break it this time himself only.
"If you weren't hungry then why did you asked me to stop the car near that hotel urgently??" Asked Abhay in a curious tone expecting Piya to answer back in a rude way again.
Piya looked at Abhay for few seconds quietly then answered calmly surprising Abhay a bit
"I thought you were hungry then" finished Piya in her ever melodious tune that held some bit of care in it.
"You were not hungry then??" Asked Abhay in a gentle tone this time.
"No, I wasn't" Said Piya with a small smile now.
"That's really strange" said Abhay in quite astonished tone.
"What's so strange about it now?" asked Piya in little bit perplexed tone.
"Nothing... just thinking that once again a intelligent man like me failed to understand a woman" Said Abhay in a teasing tone making Piya feel irritated again.
"Men like you will never change" replied Piya sounding angry.
"Wow i never knew some women sound cute too in anger" Said Abhay while flaunting his dimpled smiled.
"You know how to change someone's mood very well. Experienced right??" Said Piya sounding normal now.
"Yes, ofcourse. I love to make people smile." Said Abhay in his usual tone.
"Not that. I meant experienced in the field of changing your girlfriend's mood. Must have more than one by now na??" Said Piya in a teasing manner while having a direct eye to eye contact with Abhay now.
Abhay understood where piya was heading to so he decided to play along as well
"I don't exactly remember how many I had previously but now i think 8 or may be 9. Ok wait let me count Maya, Dora, Simi, Tina, Piya..."
Piya didn't let Abhay complete.
"Piya? you mean me? Excuse me who said i am interested in you? I hate casanova kind of men. I love my husband and I am happy to be with him" Said piya at once in quite serious tone while two drops of tears escaped from her baby brown eyes...

Abhay was taken aback a little with this sudden change of Piya's mood. He wasn't expecting such a reaction. He didn't know how to react or what to say. After a little pause he decided to apologise as it was the only thing he could do now.
"Hey, Sorry I really didn't mean to upset you. Look I was just kidding and moreover by Piya i didn't mean you. I had a school friend whose name was Piya too.''
Piya looked at Abhay with a blank expression for few minutes. She remained quiet while Abhay waited for her to say something.
"Sorry. I was actually missing kabir so may be I just overeacted " Said Piya after a long pause sounding quite apologetic.
"Its Ok" replied Abhay with a small smile but somewhere in his heart he felt a strange pang of jealousy at the mere mention of Kabir's name.
Abhay decided not to drag the conversations any further as he was still unfamiliar with this girl's sudden change of moods. He switched on the radio and the song ''lungi dance'' started playing which irritated the hell out of Piya but still she decided to keep quiet this time as she was feeling hell tired now!!!
Piya drifted off to sleep while Abhay decided to switch off the radio. He smiled and drove off the car silently once again!!!
Next morning
Dobriyal Mansion's Lawn
Jeh was instructed to clean the lawn of the huge Dobriyal Mansion. He knew that working as a servant in someone else's house was quite a difficult task but now he understood its not only a hard thing to do but it was nothing less than a torture. He hated the way Mrs. Dobriyal instructed him always and scolded him for every small thing... God he was hoping badly for these 10 day to get over.
Jeh started doing his work unwillingly. The lawn looked quite maintained but still he had lots to do. He decided to start his work right from the main gate. He was doing his work in a slow pace as he was really enjoying the cool morning breeze that was blowing outside then. Jeh turned his face away from the main gate and that's when he heard the sound of the main gate opening. He turned his head back and noticed a girl with short brown curly hairs entering through the gates. The girl was wearing a blue coloured jogging suit which made Jay believe that most probably she went out for morning walk. Her face looked quite familiar to him which was absolutely strange. He felt himself drawn towards her which was something totally unexpected for him. He decided to walk away as staring at someone like that sounded quite rude.
Jeh was about to turn his head away when suddenly he caught the sight of her again... but this time their distance was of just few meters. It was then only when he noticed her eyes for the first time. She had a pair of beautiful brown doe eyes but her eyes didn't have any gleam... they looked somewhat troubled and gloomy. He wondered the reason which bothered the girl not knowing why even he was thinking about it.
The girl stopped in her tracks and looked at Jeh for few seconds as if she sensed him staring at him... Oh shit!!! He was caught... Damn it was really stupid of him to stare at someone like that.
Jeh decided to walk away when a voice stopped him in mid way.
The girl shouted quite impatiently''Hey you... Come here...''
Jeh at first thought that the girl was calling someone else but then finding no one nearby he at once understood that she called him only.
Jeh reluctantly covered the little distance in-between and stood there still gazing at her unknowingly. The girl was about to say something but just the her cell phone started buzzing. She hurriedly picked up the call and after hearing something from the other end she replied at once ''Yea yea its Misha Dobriyal here... Hold on... I will be there in ten minutes!!!''
PS-: So here is the 3rd chapter of this SS. I updated this one after a long time. I hope its not that boring. I added lots of Abhiya in this chappy as I have decided to take this SS a bit slow and that's only if u all want else I will wrap it up in 2 more updates 😊I won't say anything about my writing as I am really fed up with my writing skills long back but still I can't live without torturing u all with it 😉
