both of them were complex characters in this ff and it was interesting to read about them.

Coming to the update - it was so beautiful n u gave it a picture pefect end n I could literally visualise everything before me, starting from when Pia spots Abhay on the road amidst the traffic n tries chasing after him but Abhay who is in more of a hurry to get to her doesn bother noticing anything as his sole focus is to get to her before its gets any late 😆 I am glad they missed each other then else poor public would be stranded in a bad jam on a busy day 😆

This is just coz u and Dishu threatened to butcher me if I gave a sad ending which was really tempted to give😆 yes Abhay was in a hurry so he didnt see her and good for the general public else Abhay and Piya would definitely be badly cursed😆

I know many of ur readers felt Abhay has commitment phobia n the fact that he walked out on her after sleeping with her angered them further but I do not have any harsh feelings for him for that. Let me tell u y. True he was insecured of relationships n being an insecure person myself, I know how it feels. He had suffered a worse hit in terms of trust in relationships. Its not easy to handle when ur bff cheats on u with ur girl. He had trusted both of them immensely n its not easy to get over the pangs of a broken heart 🥺 He chose a profession where he would help ppl overcome their insecurities n lead a peaceful life though he could never bring himself to peace.

He did actually have a commitment phobia and it was Piya who made him question it and eventually overcome it once Alina brought it out in the open to him😳and he didnt really have anyone to have peace with

The circumstances under which they first met in school was where he had been a carefree teen n Pia a troubled one. Pia was at her worst then. Abhay though he could not understand the depth of her scars then realised something was off abt her. Though he pretended to spite her, he was drawn to her. Years later he meets the same person n is stunned to note the change in her. But deep down he still knows she hasn recovered from what has happened to her. He never really cheated on anybody in the true sense though he got into many relationships coz he never made a commitment there n the other person probably knew it was a No-Strings-Attached relation for Abhay. But with Pia he knew the attraction he felt towards her was something different. He could never get into that situation with her though he knew Pia felt attracted to him. Yet he craved to be beside her for as long as he could hold onto her. Anisha's suicide defo triggered his hidden feelings to come to the surface but still at that moment he wasn ready n fair enough! Had he acknowledged it at that moment, at some point later there was a probability that both of them could regret over getting close in a vulnerable moment. So he pretended to be casual n I guess he went OTT too 😛

I like your analysis of Abhay. He wasnt in any serious relationship and thats why he tried to stop getting involved with Piya coz he was afraid that it would end badly Yes he did go OTT trying to go casual and Piya bought it as well😆

Not acknowledging the events of the night n pretending to have no recollection was an act of cowardice on his part. But u cant rule out the possibility that he could have done that as he didn want to make her feel uncomfortable n lose her companionship. Like I said before he never wanted Pia to walk out of his life n he would settle to have her in any form in his life.

Yes exactly. He wanted her gone and free of the emotional baggage she might have to deal with in a relationship with him yet he couldnt let go of her😳

And then enters Misha - Pia's sister who seeks his help. Anisha's death had let loose the memories that Pia had buried deep in her subconscious mind Abhay being a doctor, his first duty was to help her come out of it. But he did it more for himself than for her, for Pia meant more than a patient to him. Even in that process he knew he shdn let his harmones get the better of him but seeing Pia with another man provoked him to break his own rules and he got into a relationship with her against his better judgement. And worse even he broke the physical barrier between them by sleeping with her. When he felt guilty I knew it wasn bcoz he was afraid of commitment but bcoz he knew how Pia would feel when she got to know the truth. He knew there would be no room for explanation once this came out in the open n sadly thats how it turned out to be

Like Abhay said, Piya made him break his own rules and they both paid the price for it

For the first time in her life Pia had felt she was loved by someone who loved her for wat she was n not out of obligation, or sympathy. But when she heard Abhay n Misha's incomplete conversation she came to the worst possible conclusion - that Abhay had done all this bcoz she was mentally sick. Not something a strong minded independent girl like Pia would take in stride n we know wat folllowed next. One moment was enough to undo everything Abhay had done for her Pia wasn at fault here at all but I still wish she had given him one chance to explain himself then. But given her state of mind I am sure nothing would have sunk into her mind.

I dont see Abhay walking out on Pia as a cowardly act. He did that bcoz he was punishing himself for what he did to her. Distancing himself from Pia was the worst punishment he could give himself. He knew by staying back at that moment he would never have given Pia the space she needed to heal. Here he probably failed to realise that all Pia needed was him. He was her cure. But given her nature it was unpredictable even for us readers to realise that Pia would crave for him rather than despise him n throw him out of her heart for the betrayal.

She wouldnt have listened to anything Abhay would have said and it would have counter productive for both of them. Piya because she might have lost her memory completely due to added emotional stress and Abhay coz he would be even more broken...and in a way, his leaving provided Piya the space to get back her sanity

True we had seen the vulnerable side to Pia but before that I always had the image of Pia where she refused to cry her heart out on anybody's shoulders n cling onto someone for support system. But Pia was back to where she had been years ago 😭 Where her own parents had thrown her unceremoniously out of their lives for no fault of hers. I still remember the teen Pia who was depressed for having missed the first place in school to Abhay. It was not bcoz she was beaten but bcoz she had lost one opportunity to please her wretched parents n get their love back 😭 She thought she had lost Abhay too when she realised she had pushed him away when he had loved her

Here Abhay thought he had betrayed Pia by getting close to her. Gosh my Abhiya 😭 The last few updates made me cry literally n trust me, I cursed u to my heart's content 😛 But their angst n despair was written beautifully 👏 In such a mature way ⭐️ Breath takingly brilliant 👏

Yes...she is back to her old fears and insecurities..vicious circle My readers love to curse me so i am used to it..😆 I used to get so drained after those angsty updates😛

I loved it when Abhay confessed the complete truth n I am so glad they now know that their love was never really lost 😳 I loved it when they got back together

The ending was PERFECT! 👏 I wouldn't expect for an epilogue coz u have penned it down in such a manner leaving it to our imagination 👏 Abhay proposing to her n their talk abt how they want their future to be while still being consumed by their passionate reunion was beautiful 👏 One of the best reunion ever ⭐️
