********CHAPTER-2********

PRESENT: RAICHAND MANSION,RAJESHWARI'S ROOM:
Rajeshwari was sitting in d same position thinking abt d period dat drastically changed their lives.A tear rolled down her cheek thinking abt d moment dat had broken down d barrier around her dat had suddenly appeared out of no where when she had heard abt d death of her husband;d moment was d birth of her younger Gson ABHAY RAICHAND.No matter an iron lady she appeared frm outside bt d confines of her room were silent spectator of d continuous sobs n bleeding of her heart since so many yrs.

FLASHBACK:
Chand was holding d shoulders of his mother 2 support her at this moment coz d rxn frm his mother was frightening him.Already he had lost his father,again Haseena n baby were fighting 4 their life in d OT n now d numb,statue like state of his mother whose tears were refusing 2 flow out of her eyes as if an invisible wall was quickly built around her d moment she heard about d death of her husband cutting her off frm d outside world.
To Rajeshwari whose dream of their Bful world was crashed in a moment it was d time when her senses,brain n above all her courage 4 which she was admired by her husband as a true raichand were gone out of d window.She was feeling blank n BLACK!
Seeing n sensing d grave situation just when Chand was about 2 open his mouth d door of d OT opened n Dr. Informed wid a smile"CONGRATULATIONS! U HAV BECOME D FATHER OF A BFUL BABY BOY".U can see Mrs. Raichand after we shift her 2 normal ward after abt 2 hrs n went away.
A feeling of relief washed over him dat at least one tension is gone bt at this moment he didn't know how 2 react! Coz of d gr8est n gravest shock of loosing his father n now this coma like situation of his mother at d same time! He simply looked at his mother's face which was blank now n waited 4 a rxn if she cud give...
Someone's voice reached d Rajeshwari's ears in this blank state n Wht does it say? "u hav become d father of a B'ful baby boy".Did she heard it right? yes!
Suddenly all d emotions dat were refusing 2 come out just a moment ago bursted out like a volcano breaking down all d barriers around her again connecting her 2 d world n she fell down slipping frm d hands of her son.Streams of tears rolled down her cheeks n she wept loudly.Immediately Chand sat besides her consoling her feeling relieved somewhere dat finally she s letting her emotions out. With teary eyes n choking voice he was consoling her bt was allowing her 2 vent out her emotions.
A nurse came n told them 2 keep silence in d hospital.
Rajeshwari Raichand slowly returned 2 senses n after an hour of silent sobbing she suddenly said"I want 2 see my Gson".
Chand was stunned 2 see d Iron Lady inside of her resurfacing again at this situation!

PRESENT:
The cheeks of Rajeshwari were wet due 2 d memory of d period of gr8est dilemma of her life.
Suddenly she heard a chirpy girly voice calling her "dadi ma...dadi ma, whr r u?"
Rajeshwari quickly wiped off her tears n came out of her room n said"Alina beta why r u shouting dear? I m here".
Alina: Dadi did u see d live telecast of d passing out parade on TV?
Rajeshwari: No,why?
Alina: OMG dadi u missed it! How cud u? I saw it whole.ABHAY was lookin soo soo...(she was abt 2 say HANDSOME bt cudn't) good in uniform.I hav seen him after 4 yrs.
Rajeshwari smiled.She knew Alina n Abhay were classmates upto d 12th n were good frens.Alina was their neighbour too n so was totally comfortable wid them frm d childhood.Bt she knew dat somewhere Alina's feelings 4 Abhay r more than just frenship bt Abhay,he is too naive 2 understand these n never thought abt her more than just frens.He was too much engrossed in his preparation 4 NDA n join d Army.She had seen d fallen face of Alina d day Abhay had cleared d NDA entrance as if she never wanted him 2 go.
Rajeshwari said: "well he must as he is my Gson.He phoned too n he said he wud be coming 2 Mumbai in a few days 2 collect his stuff n meet us" with a smile.
Alina: Really! OMG dadi i m so happy.Abb..hay is coming! Her eyes sparkled n she blushed with d inner joy.She quickly got up n ran away before dadi cud say something.
Rajeshwari had just opened her mouth 2 sat something bt cudn't due 2 Alina's supersonic speed of running away! She just shook her head n smiled.

Evening: Haseena was cleaning n setting things in d room of Abhay when her eyes got stuck on d childhood photo of Akshay n Abhay clicked on a school function,both bros dressed in Army uniform with Air guns on their shoulders n wid other hand were saluting.Her blue eyed angels!
Abhay was grinning widely wid his dimples showing looking cute as a button.She picked up d photograph n kissed it.At d same time tears rolled down her cheeks remembering Akshay.
Just then Chand came frm d office,d sound of d doorbell made her snap out of her dreamland n she quickly came out of Abhay's room.

At night after dinner Rajeshwari was excitedly walking 2wards her room thinking abt Abhay.
My Abby wud be coming after 4 long yrs n i wud take care dat d few days he stays wid us he must get his fav in each n every small thing.I wud plan a party 4 him n what more.Suddenly her eyes fell on d slightly opened door of a room in d way 2 her own room n she stopped.It was Akshay's room.
Thinking dat d servants might hav left it opened after regular cleaning she opened d door n entered d room n switched on d main light.
Her eyes stopped on d big photograph of smiling Akshay,handsome as ever,blue eyes n in uniform on d wall directly opposite 2 d door behind d bed.Just one glimpse of Akshay was enough 2 take her again 2 dat time.
FLASHBACK:
Haseena was still in d hospital with d baby while next day Chand ,Rajeshwari n Akshay went 2 d airport 2 receive d dead body of Rajyavardhan.

D coffin was wrapped in tricolor,carried on d shoulders of soldiers.He was cremated with Millitary respect n honour d same day with salute by 21 fires n was attended by top army officials.
She was seeing d face of her husband 4 d last time which was peaceful as ever as if he had accomplished wat he wanted.she remembered his words "Zindagi sabko doosra mauka nahin deti,isliye wo ek mauka jo humein mila hai uska poora faida uthao aur haan agar apni poori koshish ke baad bhi tum us mauke se kuch pa nahi sake to iska matlab hai ya to tum uske kabil hi nahi ho ya tumhein ek aur mauka milega.par hum negative kyun sochein ki hum kaabil nahi...be +ve dat we will get a 2nd chance".
She again cried listening 2 d speeches of officers abt her husband.
After a few days they went 2 AMAR JAWAN JYOTI 2 pay homage 2 d martyrs.Akshay was totally confused seeing all this.He was told dat his Gfather scored so perfectly in shooting dat GOD appointed him as his own gunman.Bt still he is fulfilling his promise of taking him 2 Amar Jawan Jyoti n we r going 2 Delhi.
Listening 2 this Akshay was very happy bt he was thinking dat now will his Gfather return 2 him or not?
At d India Gate,when d salute n tribute 2 d soldiers was beng paid,Rajeshwari thought,"Brigadier sahab,u 4got ur promise 2 take ur Gson 2 Amar Jawan Jyoti.see he has come alone widout u" n silently cried again.

Suddenly d face of her newly born Gson came 2 her mind" when they entered d ward 2 see d baby n d mother.Haseena was fast asleep bt little bundle of joy was fully awake n alert.he had Bful blue eyes just like his Gfather n elder bro.Akshay was more than excited 2 see his little bro.Tears began 2 flow frm her eyes as she picked him in her arms.D baby suddenly stroked her face as if wiping her tears n smiled flashing his dimples.This sight took away all her agonies n she kissed d baby's 4head n blurted out ABHAY...we will call him Abhay as he has arrived in such a difficult time bt is still smiling fearlessly.Chand was watching all this silently n nodded smiling faintly.
Suddenly Akshay began 2 pout n asking 4 d attention demanded dat he wanted 2 hold d baby.
Rajeshwari smiled n carefully gave d baby in his lap who was overjoyed 2 see his bro.

She thought life has given her 2nd chance in d form of her 2 precious angelic Gsons n she will definitely go thru hell 2 protect them n cherish this 2nd chance.
Suddenly life had a new meaning 4 her.
