same day,in the evening-
at abhay quater-
abhay was busy in his work when door bell ring..abhay look at clock...
abhay(to himself)-"its 6p.m.and he is returning so early..."
thinking so he went to open the door...
abhay(without seeing him)-"how come u reached so early..??did u..."
he stop seeing the visitors..
pia(smiling)-"hello sir!!!.."
abhay(surprised)-"umm..hello pia..what r u doing here??"
pia-"woh..."
alekh(came from behind pia)-"hello bhai..wo apun ko pia ne lift dedi toh...
(and looks towards pia and than at abhay)"
abhay(glaring at alekh)-"oohhh.."
pia-"ummm...won't u invite us??"
abhay-"umm..sure..come in.."
pia moves inside followed by alekh and lastly abhay...
pia look around and abhay was glaring at alekh who was avoiding to look at abhay..
pia-"nice interior sir!!!.."
abhay(plainly)-"i haven't done anything..its from college only..."
alekh-"pia !!!betho na..batao kya logi..??"
pia-"nahi..thanks..."
alekh-"are aise kaise..pehli baar apne..(abhay stomp on his foot)mera matlab hai
hamare ghar ayi ho to..."
abhay(interrupting him)-"alekh rehne do..pia ko jana hoga,right???"(looks at pia)
pia-"umm..ya..i should go now..okk then bye alekh.kal milte hai college me"
alekh-"bye..jarur.."
pia-"bye sir"
abhay-"good night"
pia smile at him and went from there..
abhay closes door behind her and turns to alekh who was no where to be seen..
he could hear noise of water from bathroom...
abhay(angry,banging the door)-"alekh,mujhe pata hai,tum mujhse bachne ke liye andar
ghuse ho...par me itni asaani se nahi choduga...ajj raat ka khana tum banaoge
aur raat ko living room me sogaye...bas thats final..."
and leaves from there...
alekh open the door and runs behind abhay..
alekh-"aap aisa nahi kar sakte... raat ko waha kaise??"
abhay-"yeh tumhe pehle sochna chahiye tha..pia ko yaha lane ki kya jarurat thi aur
upar se kya puch rahe the...batao kya logi(mimicking him) tum pagal ho gaye ho...
mujhe pata hai tum use jaan-bhuj kar lekar aye..!!!"
alekh-"apun to wapis a raha tha lekin raste me pia mil gayi aur usne kaha
ki wo chod degi...aur usne yaha tak choda to socha ki upar bula lu aur phir
mehmaan ki khatirdaari ki...isme pagal honi wali kon se baat hai???
abhay(annoyed)-mein tumhe bahut ache se jaanta hon to ye bhole banene ka natak
mat karo...aur agar aage kuch bhi aisa kara na ya pia ke topic uthaya to
tumhe wapas police ke hawale kar dunga.us din to maine bacha liya...likin
aage se nahi..."
alekh-"samjh gaya...wo toh app ne apun ko us din pakad liya nahi toh apun ko
kabhi koi police wala pakad nahi paya..mujhe ajj bhi yaad hai..kese us din...
flashback-
1 week ago-
at delhi railway station-
abhay was coming out of train with his laggage.he walks among the crowd towards
exit when someone collioded with him..
abhay-"sorry!!!"
but the person doesn't say anything and continues to walk...
abhay looks at him.he couldn't see his face but only back portion.
shrugging,he continues to walk..when something strike him and he checked
his pocket and yes!!! his wallet was missing..he again turns towards that man
and could see him going from other exit...
without thinking,abhay ran behind him...but misses him...
on the other side-
that person came outside of station ..
he looked at the wallet and opened it...
person(smile)-"boss!!..saale ke pass bahut maal hai...bewakuf kahi ka..aaj to party
honi chahiye"
and went to the near by tea stall.
person-"ek katti chai aur ek plate bread-pakoda.jaldi..(looking at id-card)
hmmm...abhay riachand...(looks keenly)
SWARD officer..??indian branch(confused) "
voice-"its S.W.A.T by the way.!!!"
shocked,that person looked behind...
abhay-"pakad liya..nahi!!!(and sits beside him)ek aur katti chai..(ordering for
himself)"
person-"woh..yeh apka hai..(indicating to wallet)woh..gir gaya tha.. toh
apun.."
abhay(calmly)-"ohhh toh tum ne socha ke apne pass rakh lu???"
person(scared)-"haan!! matlab nahi..matlab woh..."
abhay-"tumhara naam kya hai??"
person(hesitant)-"alekh..alekh sharma..'
abhay-"haan toh alekh!!aab jab wallet ka malik mil gaya hai toh use wapas
kar do"
alekh-'ha..haan.."(handling him back)
now both were having their chai quitely.
alekh was confused,shocked,hesitant and looks at abhay and abhay was clamly having
his chai...
abhay-"kya hua chai achi nahi hai..(alekh nodded in no)toh piyo...lo pakode khao"
alekh quitely obeyed...
abhay-"i know ke tum jante ho ki mein aur tum yaha kyu hai aur aage kya
hone wala hai.."
alekh-"apun ko maaf kar do..galti ho gayi."
abhay-"kya dubara esa karoge??'
alekh(after thinking for a while)-'haan"
abhay-"kyu??"
alekh-"apun ke pass aur koi chara nahi hai...na he koi kaam hai na hi paisa"
abhay-"agar yeh dono chiz me de do toh??'
alekh(surprised)-"app?? par kyu??"
abhay(smiles)-"har kyu ka jawab nahi hota...toh batao manjur hai..."
alekh-"lekin apun ko karna kya hoga??"
abhay-"kuch khaas nahi bas mera chota bhai banana hoga.."
alekh looks at him shocked..
alekh-"kya.??"
abhay-"haan.."
alekh-'par kyu??'
abhay-"phir sawal!!! are bhaiii tum aam kahoo gudthali mat ginoo.ajj se tum meri family
ho matlab mera chota bhai..par uske liye tumhe mere saath chalna hoga."
alekh-"kaha??"
abhay(smiles)-"shimla!!!"
alekh was lost in his thought..he was confused and couldn't decide to trust
abhay or not..
seeing his reluctanance..
abhay-"tumhari marzi hai..mein tumhe ek nayi jagha,nayi zindagi,nayi pehchaan
aur jine ka ek mooka dena chata hoon..tum waha par padhoge ,kuch banoge,paise kamaoge
par saahi tarike se..me sirf tumhe rasta dekhauga par chalna tumhe hai..to bolo
manjoor??"
alekh-"mujhe waqt chahiye...??"
abhay(smiles)-"sure..(give him his new address of shimla)jab faisla kar lena toh
waha par a jaana...me intzaar karunga..."
saying so he stands up to go...
alekh-"wo..S.W.A.T. ka matlab kya hai?? woh..apke wallet me.."
abhay(sits back)-"waise muje batana toh nahi chahiye...(alekh look at him)
S.W.A.T ek anter-rashtriye(international) organisation hai jo terrorist ko
pakad ti hai matlab for national security...aur mein unka ek officer hoon jo
ek mission pe ja raha hoon...and it is secret.."
alekh-"toh phir mujhe kyu bataya..??"
abhay(smile)-"kyu ki tum family ho. aur me tum par trust kar ta hoon..."
alekh(smile)-"thank u..."
abhay nodded and went from there...
alekh kept on looking at abhay till he isn't visible and than at paper in
his hand.
flashback over
alekh-"aur apun ne tabhi soch liya tha ki kya karna hai..aur isliye me ajj yah hoon
apke saath..."
abhay(smiles)-"par iska matlab yeh nahi hai ke tumhari galti maaf..toh baate kam kaam
jada.."
abhay patting on his back went from there leaving behind sad alekh..
alekh(to himself)-"lag ja alekh beta kaam pe...yeh mugambo kabhi tujhe nahi
chodega.."
and after some time having dinner,both slept on their respective places..
next morning-
in college-
abhay and alekh were walking in corridor...
abhay-"mene principal se baat kar le hai tumhare liye...tum bas office jaake
apna secdule le lena...ab meri class hai 10min toh tum aage ka khud manage kar
lene..koi dikat ho toh call kar lena.."
alekh-"okkk."
while walking they see crowd around notice board..abhay went forward .
seeing him coming ,everyone backed out.
after reading it...abhay was very angry...
abhay(gritting his teeth)-"how dare he???"
seeing him so worked up,alekh came forward...
alekh-"kya hua??"
abhay(hissing)-"that ranvijay!!!!...i won't leave him(look around)where is ranvijay??"
everyone was scared to speak seeing abhay so angry..
abhay(shouts)-"i asked something??"
sameer-"in boys locker room,sir"
without waiting for a second..
he rushes to locker room..
alekh tries to stop him but in vain..
alekh-"akhir baat kya hai??"
sameer-"woh actually..."
and sameer tell him whole issue and what was on notice board..
alekh-"is ranvijay ke toh khair nahi..isne galt insaan se panga liya hai..."
sameer(confused)-"huhhh..tum kaise keh sakte ho??'
alekh-"are woh apun ka bhai hai"
sameer(shocked)-"what??"
alekh-"haan..itna chauk kyu gaye??"
sameer-"nahi woh...anyways..i m sameer...sameer saxena..me sir ke class me padh ta hu"
alekh-'apun alekh sharma aur apun bhai ke ghar me rehta hu"(smiles)
sameer was confused...
alekh seeing him so confused...
alekh-"kya hua??"
sameer-'nahi woh tumhare bolne ka talika aur sir ke bhai???kuch samaj nahi aya?"
alekh(smile)-"woh apun anath hai..toh woh mujhe apni family me le aaye aur me bachpan se
aisa he bolta hoon par mein sahi dhang se bolne ke koshish kar raha hoon.."
sameer(smiles)-"ohhh...its good..so first day...kaisa laga hamara college
ya kahu tumhare bhai ka college.."
alekh(surprised)-"bhai ka...??"
sameer-"haan..tmhe nahi pata??"
alekh-"woh mujhe unke baare me jaada nahi pata,pehle hum alag rehte the.."
sameer-"its okk..kya hai na ke sir bhe pehle ise college mein padh teh the..
chalo me tumhe college dekhata hoon aur apne doston se milwata hoon"
alekh nodded and both went from there...
in boys locker room-
abhay entered and walked upto him...
abhay-"what is ur problem..??"
rj-"what??"
abhay(angry)-"don't pretend in front of me..?'
rj-"what are u talking about,sir??(seeing abhay glaring at him)ohh that
notice on board..."
abhay-"very much..'
rj-"i told u we would have a match but u didn't agree so i had to make it official
.people should know that their champ is back in town...being a sports captain,
i arranged a friendly match between our college and excel college and in the
end..like a treat.i and u would have one-on-one match plus
i made this match witnessed by some important people of town so that u couldn't
backed out.so the match would be on and that too today evening..go and prepare urself."
abhay-"why r u so hell bent to do this??u know it is of no use"
rj(hissed)-"it is of USE!!.u have insulted me in front of whole college.no one
..i mean no one dare before but u came out of no where and spat on my face..
and i would do the same to u..in front of whole college,when i will defeat u.then
i would be satisfied..."
abhay-"do u really think that would do a good to u??"
rj-"yes!!!!."
abhay(after thinking)-"fine...meet u at court.."
and without waiting for a reply abhay went from there...
the news spread like fire...whole college was excited for the upcoming match..
preparation were going and basketball players were practicing for their match with
excel college...and due this sudden occurence of event..all classes were posponed..
misha-"wow yaar...it seems like tom cruise had arrived"
yudi-"even if he would..there is no match of him against abhay sir..."
ruhi-"finally,my dream is coming true.."
alekh-"apun ko samajh nahi ata..itna jhamela kayeco..jab pata hai ke bhai jitege.."
sameer-"becoz..hum rj ki baat kar rahe hai..wo chahe kitna hi bada kameena ho
par wo bahut accha kehl ta hai..wo aab tak ka best player hai..basketball me
koi usse ball le he nahi sakta or woh kise ke pass 10 sec se jada ball tikne nahi
deta..."
alekh(pointed out)-"par jaha tak tum logo ne mujhe bhai ke bare me bataya,
bhai ko bhi aaj tak koi nahi hara paya.."
sameer-"tabhi toh sabka yeh haal hai.."
yudi-"itni excitment toh 20-20 world cup ke time bhi nahi tha jab india jita tha.."
misha-"kuch bhi kaho...alekh ke aate he hamme college ke third day par holiday mil gaya
upar se a real basketball match between two best players of their time..."
yudi-"i bet on sir...sir he jitege..."
ruhi-"me tooo"
sameer-"sorry to say..but i m confused..."
alekh-"jaha bhai waha apun..(looking around)tum logo ne pia ko dekha hai kya??"
misha(confused)-"u know her??"
alekh nodded...
ruhi-"she must be with rj...hanging out with him..or boosting him for match."
alekh-"kyu??"
yudi-"ahh they are together..!!!(alekh look at him)i mean like couple...u know"
alekh(frown)-"issa kaise ho sakta hai..."
ruhi-"kyu nahi..??"
misha-"ya right..both are ameer-baap-ki-bigdi-hui-aulad,self-centered,arrogant
,made for each other..mean...gosh i can speak about them for whole day"
alekh(surprised)-"lekin woh toh..."
sameer-"kya??"
alekh-"nahi kuch nahi...chalo.."
alekh was confused with what he observed and what he heard about her from his
new friend...she was opposite to what they were saying...alekh could remember
their yesterday chat while coming back to campus in her car..he is totally confused
and was sure something was wrong...he had to see to it...
alekh was very keen observer...he was good at reading people after living alone
for so many years and what he read in pia was!!...well he couldn't jump to any
conclusion before getting sure himself...he has to talk to her...
and alekh was so lost in his thought that he didn't realize when they
entered canteen and found abhay sitting over there...
alekh(looking at abhay)-"apun abhi aaya.."
looking at his direction of vision,everyone nodded...
abhay was seated sipping his coffee...
alekh sat infront of him...
abhay didn't acknowledge and was lost in his thought..
alekh look at abhay for a min..
alekh-"toh aap yaha ho...mujhe laga ke aap match ke liye tayaari kar rahe honge.."
abhay(comes out of his thought)-"uske zarurat nahi..."
alekh(smiles)-"are haan!!! champion ko practice ke kya zarurat jab ki wahi
jitega"
abhay-"alekh,mujhe kahi jana hai baad me milte hai.."
alekh-"par..okkk..event 6p.m. start ho jayega.aur apka match lagh-bagh
7:30p.m. hoga..."
abhay nodded and went from there..
alekh went back to his group...
sameer-"ohh u r back .chalo preparation karni hai shaam ke event ki toh tumhe bhi madad
karni hogi.."
yudi-"alekh,tum yeh invitation card inn address pe jake dedo.."
alekh-"lekin apun akele kaise??..tum me se koi to sath chalo.."
misha-"dekh humme aur bhi kaam hai..tu kisi aur se puch le.."
alekh-"hmmm..."
and alekh went from there looking around for any one who could accompany him..
and he saw pia...
alekh(to himself)-"chalo ek tir se do nishaan lagate hai..."
alekh-"piaa..."
pia turned around ad smile seeing it was alekh..
pia-"hey!!!..so how is your first day..??"
alekh-"accha hai abhi tak tohhh..."
pia-"hmmm..so excited for sir match..."
alekh-"yes!!!...umm mujhe tum se madad chahiye thi..(pia nodded) wo
apun ko yeh invitation cards dene hai aaj ke event ke liye...aur me naya hu toh
kya tum mere sath chalogi??"
pia thought for a while...
pia-"hmmm.okkk..chalo.."
alekh smile at her and both went to her car...
