chapter 2-
after 6 months-
early morning-
at shimla railway station-
a train stops on platform and a man comes out of train with his luggage .
he was around 25 or 26 years old and was dressed in white shirt and black jeans with black jacket over it(dressed like samrat after leap of 3yrs in mjht)with styled haired and spectacles he was looking around himself and then he sees his watch and after waitingfor 10mins,walks among the crowd and reach out of station...
he walks to cab...
man-"st. Xavier college???"
cab driver nodded his head and man sits in cab and driver drives away...
after 30min,cab stops,man comes out,pays rent and turns...
he looks at the hording named"st Xavier college" and looks around himself..
he could see teenagers around himself.he observes them and then again look at hording and took a deep breath..
man-"st. Xavier...here i comes.."
and walks among the crowd with his luggage...
everyone looks at him and admire his looks,way of walking,his handsome,
charming face...girls were drooling over him and boys envy him but
he seems to oblivious of it and walks ahead...
while walking,he collided with someone and the person falls downs with his
belongings..
man-"i m sorry..i didn't see u.."
and help the person to collect his belongings...
person-"ya i understand...u are too blind to see such a 6-feet tall,handsome
man..."
man(looks at him in amusement and smile)-"i said i m sorry..."
and now both stands...
person(shrugs)-"whatever..."
and walks out from there...
man looks at him,shakes his head and turns and walks again...
he comes in front of principal office,knocks at door...
principal-"come in..."
man walks in...
man-"good morning sir..."
principal-"good morning...abhay!!!..its so nice to see u back..i m happy u
decided to come here and teach our students for next coming years.though i m surprised that of all profession u choose to be teacher!!!...i was first
very surprised when major chauhan requested for u and was too shocked to
believe my ears that the person who use to run from studies in his college days is here-teaching!!!!..."
abhay smiles at him...
abhay-"actually sir..."
principal-"ohhhoo...abhay !!!why r u standing..have a seat..(abhay sits)so
tell me how have u been till now??i still remember, 6 years back,u were
here as a student-basketball champ,hero of our college,popular among girls...all rounder in co-curricular activities and yahh!! u were such a prankster,abhay!!..i still remember how cranky mrs.dicosta became when u played prank on her..u weresuch a dynamic personality.that even after your pranks,everyone adores u so much.!!.(principal smiles at him,abhay was lost in memories and seeing him so lost,principaltries to bring him back)so.. how is life now??married or still..."
abhay interrupted him...
abhay(hesitant)-"umm sir,can we talk about why r we present here??...if u
don't mind"
principal looked at him with surprised,astonished with abhay's sudden changeof behaviour but neglects it..
principal-"okk as u say,abhay...so welcome back to st.xavier college..i m glad that u are here..and yes!!...(passing him papers)here is ur sechdule about ur classes...asu said u will be teaching history,though i m surprised with choice of ur subject but...so be it..and yes classes are starting from today only ..
i m sorry but u have to start from today only..i know u need time to
settle down first..."
abhay-"thank you so much sir..its okk.i will manage..."
principal-"okk then..all the best.."
abhay-"sure sir.."
and walks out...
(map of college-first parking lot at entrance then campus,next is
playground then girls hostel,then faculty quarter and last boys hostel)
he was walking towards faculty quarter and was passing by basketball court
while talking on phone...
abhay-"yes sir.i reached here...i know sir what i came
for here...u don't worry sir,no one will know the true
reason of me coming here...i will meet him soon..."
suddenly ball hit him from back,making his phone fall down..
abhay looks at ball and then at the direction it came from and then picks his
phone..
abhay-"i will call u later sir...ok sir"
till than 2-3 boys came forward to take the ball...
boy1-"..pass the ball...UNCLE!!!!"
and laughs at abhay with his friends..soon a crowd was surrounding them...
abhay's icy deep blue eyes stared back at them in such a way that those
boys stopped laughing...
no one spoke a word for a while..
when one guy came forward...
guy-"hey...whats the matter,boys..go get the ball from(looks at abhay)
...UNCLE!!!.."
and laughs at abhay...
abhay looks at him...
guy comes forward seeing the reluctance in his friend of going forward...
guy looks at him from top to bottom and walks around him..
guy-"hmmm..new ???"
abhay-"no.."
guy-"no!!!...(looks back at his friends)how come we don't know u???"
abhay-"thats ur problem!!! not mine.."
guy(angry,grabs his collar,hissing)-"so smarty pants hmmm???u think u could
answer back to me...ranvijay singania!!!!(ranvijay from mjht)(abhay look at
him).."
abhay hold his hand,tightening his grip on his hand and remove his hand
from his collar...ranvijay feels pain in his hand and rubs his hand to
soothe pain and looks at abhay angrily...
abhay stares back at him calmly..
abhay(warns him)-"never do that again..."
and turns to pick ball and his luggage and walks ahead..and throws ball back
towards court and it goes to basket...everyone was shocked that how could anyonebasket a ball at distance of 20 feet that to facing back towards basket..
everyone was astonished and was continuously looking at the retarding figure of this mystrious guy...
everyone was gossiping about it..
guy1-"man..that was just awesome...how he did that???fabulous"
guy2-"exactly...have u look at the face of rj(ranvijay)...he was like
wounded tiger..."
guy3-"tiger????wrong dude...cat!!he was like wounded cat"
and all laughed at his comment..
rj was listening to all this and was burning from inside.he was furious,angry,madat that blue-eyed man..
frustrated he walks away from there...
soon this incident spread like fire and everyone was surprised to know that
there was someone who could defeat rj in anything,call it basketball,strength
,looks,personality.in every way for whole college students, that blue-eyed
was better than rj...
in canteen-
a group of girls and boys were seated around table discussing about the
basketball incident...
boy1-"that shot was impossible...i couldn't believe it yarrr.."
boy2-"believe me,sameer(sameer of lnmdj)..i m saying truth..
u have missed the shot of decade!!.."(says dramatically)
sameer-"okkk fine,yudi(yudi of lrl)..if u say so but stop eating my head..."
yudi-'u know what..u sucks mannn"
girl1-"and did u noticed his eyes...they were so mesmerizing-blue-eyes...i
love his eyes,guys!!!.."
and signs imagining his eyes...
girl2-"ohh...stop it tracker...every day u love one or other thing about someone."
tracker-"ohh misha...i m serious yarr..."
misha(rolls her eyes)-"whatever...so who is this blue-eyed guy???..."
tracker(dissapoint)-"i don't know his name...i only knows that he is not student
here...i wish he was!!!"
yudi(looks at his tablet)-"guys,check this out!!!"
(everyone looks at his tablet)
tracker-"ahhh...he is the one..yes..guys he is my blue-eyed hero!!..
look at him..he is so handsome,charming,young yarr..."
misha-"but who is he??"
sameer-"hey..its our college's basketball team uniform...that means..."
yudi-"yes!!..he was from our college...his name is abhay, it didn't mention his
full name..from the batch of 2006..captain of basketball team
...and off course champion in it...international player..he played few
international and national matches..(looks at abhay pics with astonishment)
.wow!!man..he is awesome..."
they stared back at the photograph of abhay among basketball team standing with national trophy in his hand lookingal happy ,cheerful ,handsome smart,enthusiastic,young in photo...
misha-"how do you get it???"
yudi-"duhhh..he told in court that he is not new and the way he basket the
ball,i was dam sure he is basketball player so i searched for him in
college basketball team and bingo..here is ur blue-eyed hero!!(to tracker).."
sameer-"so u mean to say that he is here as our basketball coach.."
yudi-"i think so..."
tracker-"that will be so cool..."
misha-"and may i know how is that cool for u,miss.ruhi juneja??"
tracker-"ohhoo..it is simple..i could see him daily playing basketball!!!"
yudi-"tracker,first-he would teach us not play himself daily.secondly-Ur
english classes and our basketball session timings are clashing...so
sorry to burst ur bubble.."
tracker pouts and yudi laugh at her misery...while sameer and misha ignore
their non-sense...
sameer-"okk guys!!we have had enough discussion on this abhay!!!..lets have something and than we have our class after half an hour..."
all together(acting like adjusting collar)-"mahodhaya!!!!"
and laugh together...
misha(groan)-"yarr...that champu shukla's(shukla sir from mjht) classes are
so boring.."
tracker-"and top of that the stinky smell of his hair oil...yucks"
(act like vomitting)
yudi-"ohh don't remind me that..last time when i was sleeping in his class,
he cought me and he was so near me that i was almost fainted with that smell.."
sameer(laughing)-"ya..how can we forget that!!!!"
and with that they ordered food and went back to their class...
in class-
everyone was busy among themselves.some werechatting , playing , laughing,having fun...
when someone entered in the class...
all were surprised to see him..
person-"good morning class...i know its shukla sir lecture but now it is
changed..from now onwards first class would be mine..so no more hindi
literature in first class.u can checkout ur new schedule from notice board.."
tracker(to misha,who sat beside her)-"hayyy misha...this day couldn't be any better now..!!"(and looks at him dreamily)
misha-"shut up tracker..."
person notices them..
person-"misha and ruhi if u r done with ur talks,can i continue.."
everyone was shocked...
yudi(whispering to sameer)-"how did he knew their name...is he some psychic or what??"
sameer-"shut up"
person notices the shocked expression of everyone and smirks..
he turns towards board and pick up chalk and wrote...
"ABHAY R. DOBERIAL..."
person-"myself abhay r. doberial...ur new history teacher and yes i knew all of ur names,family background,status,standard...everything...so don't look so shocked or surprised..i did my homework before coming here...so no need of personal introduction..so lets start with class.."
and move to his desk to pick book...
misha(confused)-"abhay r. doberial???what kind of name is that??"
sameer(frowning)-"wierd..."
yudi(gaped)-"history teacher???"
tracker-"but how??i mean why not basketball coach??"
but it was loud enough said to hear everyone even abhay...
abhay looks at tracker...
abhay-"hmm seems like u all too did some homework..interesting..
good for the future.."
sameer-"but sir,history??(abhay raise his eyebrow at him,folding his arms
across his chest,sameer notices the authoritative gesture)i mean sir... what
we came to know about u was that u use to play basketball and was
champion also and today morning also u were..."
abhay interrupting him...
abhay(plainly)-"i no more play basketball and whatever happened in morning
was not ur business to interfere...and its my decision to what to teach
and what not mr.sameer sexana!!!"
sameer looked at his eyes and could only see emptiness in it .sameer
looked down,nodding his head..
sameer-"sorry sir"
abhay-"u better be.sit down...(now looks at class)so now shall we start.open
ur..."
he was interrupted by someone on the door..
misha(whisper to tracker)-"now watch the fun!!!"
person-"phew!!!..finally i reached.."
and without noticing abhay,the person entered the class and sat on chair..
abhay looks at the person who was busy on phone...
abhay snatches the phone...
person(shout)-"what the helll!!!..how dare u??"(without looking at him,all pissed)
and but when person look at abhay and she was lost in him seems
like cat caught her tongue..
abhay-"get out.u r late in my class and top of that u walked in like
its ur home.."
person stares at him...
misha(whisper to tracker)-"one more admirer..."
tracker-"welcome to the club"
and laugh...
not receiving any response from the girl...abhay spoke again..
abhay(sternly)-"i said GET.OUT.OF.MY.CLASS..."
and shows her the way..
person snaps out of her thought and look here-there..and composes herself...
person(with attitude)-"are u saying to me!!.to PIYA..."
abhay cuts her in between..
abhay(irritated)-"yes..miss.piya jaiswal..i m saying u to get out of my
class..do i need to say in any other language also.."
pia was surprised that this man knows her..but was ferocious at him
pia(angrily)-"listening u mr...whatsoever!!!.."
again abhay interrupt her..
abhay-"no u listen to me or u will be send in detention for two days.."
pia glares at him and look around her and then stand and walks out of class.
cursing him under her breath...
abhay turns to class...
sameer-"now thats call abhay..."
yudi-"..what???"
misha-"duhh means fearless..(shrug)whatever it is..he has something in him"
tracker(chipped)-"i told u !!"(as a matter of fact)
sameer-"this year,we will have lot to see.."
yudi-"and i hope it is good.."
all four look at each other and then at abhay who was writing something on
board...and soon class was going on...
