Star One, a very popular channel especially among the youth, brought an altogether different perspective to the shows running on Indian Television, away from the typical saas bahu saga. After being quite successful when the channel started facing a wee bit of downside when the TRP's concerned the channel heads, they decided to revamp the channel & close all the running popular shows like 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi', 'Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani' etc & paved the way for a new channel called 'Life OK'… Yes the channel was loosing it's viewership, instead of improving the shows, the channel just revamped the channel & thus Star One disappeared & Life OK appeared.. Though the 'TRP's' was not on a high, still the channel's decision is considered unfair even today, as Geet Hui Sabse Parayi & Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani, had the highest fan following & their closure broke umpteen number of hearts.

I wish PKYEK started on star plus, we'd have got even better TRPs n the show would have been running 😭 😭
