Chapter 4

Part a(written by roshni)

Winds was blowing roughly , it was cloudy and and moon was the only source of lights. Piya was waiting outside the raichand mansion sitting on a bench waiting for abhay to come with a teary eye . It was 12:00 am and still abhay hasn't Come. Worry had taken over piya and she was getting tensed. Horrible thoughts were coming to her mind which were scaring her like wat if abhay had an accident or has he been kidnapped . A tear rolled down her cheeks . Just then Varun came along with Tara .

Tara : don't worry di , jiju will come soon may be he is stucked n traffic

Piya : Tara it's 12 , wat traffic would be there and he could have atleast called

Varun : don't worry bhabhi , bhai will come soon you go to sleep

Tara : Varun is right di , in this condition you should not take stress and rest

Piya : how can sleep be there in my eyes when abhay hasn't reached home yet , I will take rest only when reaches home safely .

Varun : u tried to call bhai ?

Piya : I called him 30 times , he isn't picking it up . Varun I m worried , can we just go looking out for him .

Varun : you stay at home along with Tara , I will go out and see , its not good for you both to go out at night

Piya : no Varun ,I wanna come . I can't just sit here

Varun : bhabhi please, I will find bhai promise. And bhabhi you are my responsibility till bhai comes , I can't let u out at this time.

Tara : but Varun , how will you be able to manage alone , atleast let me come

Varun : no means no , it's dangerous out there

Piya : but ..

Varun cuts in : no bhabhi ,both of aren't coming along with me .

Tara : ok Varun , di come inside you will catch cold

Piya : fine , take are Varun .

Soon Tara and piya went inside while Varun went outside looking for abhay . Piya sat near the window waiting for Varun to return along with abhay . She told Tara to sleep as she had college tomorrow . Time passed and it was now 2 am still piya was in same position looking out the window . Sleep couldn't be seen in her eyes . Soon Tara came down as she couldn't sleep either . She made a coffee for piya and herself . It was 5 am when Varun's car arrived came . Piya ran outside but saw only a highly disappointed Varun .

Piya who was almost next to cry: Varun where is abhay ?

Varun : I m sorry bhabhi , I searched for him everywhere but couldn't find him

Piya couldn't take it anymore , she ran upstairs to her room . Tara went behind her but Varun holded her wrist

Varun : don't Tara , let her go .

Piya locked herself in the room , and started crying badly , . She took out her phone and again dialed no. Of abhay , but it was switched off . She hide her face in the pillow crying and crying ,praying tat her abhay is fine . She was soo missing those muscular pair of hands who would caress when she was sad , hug her tightly by which she would forgot all her sorrow but today no one was there . She suddenly felt all alone . She cried till the afternoon missing abhay , when someone knocked on the door , she opened the door and found Tara with a plate full of food . Tara saw the red puffy eyes , ruined hair and dull sober face of her di from which she could tell she cried a lot .

Tara : di are you okay ?

Piya : Tara please leave , I wanna be alone right now .

Tara : okay DI but first eat your food , you haven't eaten anything from morning .

Piya : i m seriously not at all hungry tara , please I don't want anything .

Tara ( tearing a piece of roti , dipping in dal at giving it to piya ) : DI , please have sumthing , it's not good for your health .

Piya suddenly remembered and incident during the college days of her , how one day she had huge fight with her mom dad and tat day she didn't had food , she was soo upset and first thing she did was going to abhay as when she is upset only abhay can make her mood better . When abhay came to know she hasnt eaten anything , the first thing he did was went to the kitchen and brought some food , and made her eat tat from his hands while listening to her problem and then later laughed on her too tat she had a big fight with her parents on such a small issue , he told tat you shouldn't be scared of your parents and darpok would only do tat ,he told tat his parents would agree on everything he say because his parents were under his control and while he was saying this abhay's parents were standing behind him , tat day abhay was grounded at home for a week and he seriously was while piya was just laughing at his condition . Piya came out of her dream land and saw Tara still holding the piece of food .

Piya looking at other side : no star , I said I don't wanna eat .

Tara : di not for you but atleast eat for the little one inside you .

Finally piya agreed to eat , she ate a lil food went to sleep as she was tired . And she woke Up at evening , she didn't even stepped out of the room and staring at the picture of her and abhay and again tears made way through her eyes . Just then she thought of sumthing , she went down looking for Varun and found him sitting on the couch .

Piya : Varun , you found anything about abhay ?

Varun : no bhabhi , I inquired everywhere

Piya : I think we should file a complaint .

Tara : but di , it's still not 24 hours since jiju is lost .

Varun : Tara is right , police won't accept the complaint until its 24 hours

Piya : then wat shall we Do , sitting like this only

Tears again rolled from piya's eyes , even varun was in vulnerable condition Afterall abhay was his brother and even Tara couldn't control her tears . Just then phone rang on piya's phone , it was abhay . A faint ray of hope could be seen on piya's face and she quickly picked up the phone .

Piya In a weak voice : hello abhay ?

abhay in stern voice : Hello piya , I just called to tell don't worry about me , I m fine and don't try to find me I will be back soon

Piya : but..

Abhay cuts the call before she could speak more .

Varun : wat happened bhabhi wat did bhai told ?

Piya : he said he will be back soon and not to worry of him

Tara : but where is he ?

Piya : before I could speak more , he cut my call .

Tara : thank god

Piya : no Tara ,I feel tat abhay is in a big trouble . It wasn't like my abhay use to be . I m really worried for him .

Varun : but bhabhi bhai said na tat he was fine .

Piya : he was lieing Varun , I couldn't tell tat from his voice , anyways I m going up .

Piya went upstairs with many thoughts going on in her mind . She could bet abhay wasn't fine , she was getting seriously worried . she was missing abhay like anything and she so wanted him here right now . She decided to control her tears as there was little on too in her stomach and its not good to cry so much in this stage . She caressed her stomach .

Piya : dont worry baby , daddy is gonna come soon . He is just wanting to pester your mother but you see when he returns he is gonna get a big scolding from me . I m sure he will come soon , he has to come soon .

Time flied away , it was 2 months and 15 days since abhay hasn't returned home , he would call every 15 days but just saying a line he would cut the call . Piya was in a very bad condition . She would always feel tat abhay was In a big trouble , but then she decided to again go to office as Varun has his own studies and Tara shouldn't shouldn't stay all time at home to look after her . She would manage the whole office efficiently without letting people know the big tragedy of her life . Her daily routine was to wake early , trying to call abhay but as usual he won't pick it up . Then she would go to office , come late at night , talk her baby for sometime and again cry Hiding her face in pillow . She was feeling sooo lonely without abhay , she was completely changed , she forgot to smile . Varun tara and poya's parents many time tried to cheer her but she wasnt old piya anymore . today was same day when few months ago she was married to her abhay and living in her perfect paradise . It was 11 and both Varun and Tara went to sleep while piya was crying miserably and she was missing very much . She opened her engagment and wedding album and saw beautiful pictures of her best memories , soo much happiness was spread . Everyone was smiling . She saw a saw pic of her engagement were both abhay and piya were smiling with there faces smeared with piece of cake . She smiled remembering the event tat how both had small cake fight and everyone were staring them with the look tat are they seriously getting engaged and then both abhay and piya were laughing sooo much . She laughed a lil see that pic but then she was back in reality . Then she suddenly heard abhay's calling her name outside the house several times . She ran outside to see if abhay was back . Again she heard abhay calling her .

Part b

Piya' s room

Piya felt like that god have finally listened to her and sent her happiness, her life, her soul, her abhay back to her, tears of happiness gathered in her red puffy baby brown eyes, her heart started fluttering, she felt many unknown emotions in that fraction of seconds, she again heard the same voice which she can identify in thousand voices too, which can belong to none other than abhay, her abhay, she heard him calling 'piya where are u?'

Piya now without wasting a single minute rushed out of her room, each step she was taking felt like ages for her, she increased her pace as much as she could, she rushed out of the house and called out,

Piya-: Abhay where are u? see ur piya is here? Abhay where are u?

No reply, piya again calle out abhay's name several time but to her utter dissapointment no one replied, few seconds ago she was so happy that heer abhay have came back but now, no happiness, only pain and dissapointment,

Piya again ran like a maniac across the whole garden, but couldn't find abhay, at last she couldn't take more and broke down,

Piya-: (screaming and crying) Abhay plz don't leave me, u can' do this, see ur piya needs u, abhay...

varun's room

On the otherhand varun heard someone screaming and calling abhay's name repeatedly, he was damn sure that the person can be none other than piya, several questions surrounded him, why is bhabhi calling bro like this? is bro back? but, why I feel bhabhi is in pain?

Varun decided to go out and check himself , he quickly jumped out of his bed and rushed outside.

Garden

Piya was crying and sitting on a bench, suddenly she again saw a shadow, piya rushed towards the shadow, assuming it to be abhay but fate had other plans for her, she didn't noticed a middle sized rock kept infront of her, and no sooner she tripped down on that rock and with a loud scream, of agony, she fell down on her stomach and her head hitted another large rock and pool of blood surrounded her extremely fragile body, she felt a unbearable pain in her lower abdomen and everything blackened out but before loosing her senses completely she only uttered a single name 'abhay...'

Tara's room

On the otherhand tara have woked up too hearing a loud scream and she knew it was her di's voice, she rushed out outside too, to check what happened, as soon as she got out of her room she saw varun going outside too, she quickly caught up with him and both rushed outside.

Garden

No sooner both tara and varun steped outside, the scene infront of their eyes was no less than a nightmare, piya was lying unconsious, a pool of blood surrounding her, blood was coming out of her forehead, and her legs and hands were hurt badly, both tara and varun was shocked to the core, but this was not a time to be shocked, immediately both rushed towards the senseless piya, varun immediately lifted her in his arms and tara quickely brought the car keys ans sat with piya in her lap in back seat while varun drove off the car to the city hospital.

City Hospital

After driving for 15 mins in a speed of around 120 km/hr, varun and tara managed to reach city hospital, they immediately rushed inside and within ten minutes piya was admitted and was taken to operation theatre.

Two hours have passed but no sign of any doctor or nurses coming out of OT.

Tara was continously crying and praying, where as varun was just consoling her, but inside he was scared, tensed and angry on himself for not being with his bhabhi that time, she was his responsibility but he failed, he couldn't save his bhabhi, shame on him.

Meanwhile a man in 40's dr. Dean came out of OT.

Tara and varun rushed towards the doctor,

Varun-: doctor, what happened? how is bhabhi? she is fine na?

Dr. Dean didn't respond

tara-: doctor, plz tell don't keep quiet, plz ur silence is killing us, di is fine na?

Finally Dr. Dean spoke up,

Doctor-: See, patient is fine, and is out of danger but her baby...

varun-: Baby, what happened to her baby? Dr. plz tell the truth.

Doctor-: She was internally injured due to which she suffered a miscarriage, sorry, we couldn't save her child.

Varun and tara both were shocked to the core now, they didn't kmow how to react, what will they do? how will piya react?

Since abhay has gone it's only of coz the unborn in her womb piya was living, but now who will console her, how will they tell her that her only ray of hope is no more.

Tara broke down crying, varun consoled her and after lot's of efforts he made her call dobriyal house coz only a mother can understand another mother's pain, and in these condition opnly mrs. dobriyal can make piya understand.

After half an hour, mr and mrs dobriyal reached city hospital, hearing these shocking news mrs dobriyal brust out crying but for her daughter sake she had to be strong. Tara and mrs dobriyal decided to b reak the news to piya, while varun and mr. dobriyal decided to stayu outside.

Piya's cabin

Tara was the first one to enter, followed by mrs. dobriyal, they saw piya lying down and looking outside though the closed window. She looked pale, and weak.

Mrs. dobriyal went towards piya and caressed her hair lightly, piya looked towards her and gave a small smilev assuring she is fine.

Mrs. Dobriyal-: So, piya how are u feeling now?

piya-: (with a weak voice) mom, don't worry i am better now.

Mrs.dobriyal-: piya, beta we need to tell u something.

piya looked at her mother curiously and gestured her to continue,

Mrs. dobriyal-: piya are u feeling a bit strange, like something is missing?

piya looked at her mother and nooded in a affirmative nod.

mrs. dobriyal-: do u know why are u feeling like these?

piya responded in a no.

mrs. doriyal-: because, ur choild is no more i n ur womb piya, u suffered a miscarriage( while saying these tears came down her cheeks)

Piya looked at her mother horrified, her hands immidiately travelled to her own stomach, she tried to feel something but she felt nothing, that means her mother was right, she.. she... she lost her own child, her and abhay's first mark of love, how could she? it's all her fault, if she could have been careful these could have not happened, how will she answer her abhay? she couldn't take care of their first mark of love, no, she don't have any right to live, she killed her own child, how could she? why fate has to be so cruel? what should she do now?

Tears of pain, agony, distress, shame, angryness brimmed out of her already swollen red puffy eyes.

Piya suddely tore away the wires and other equipments supporting her.

Mrs. dobriyal and tara saw these horrifiedly.

tara rushed towards piya,

Tara-: what are u doing di, plz di u are not fine till now, u need all these machines support, di listen to me.

piya-; (screaming with all her strength) No, I don't want to live, I killed my child, what kind of mother I am, I killed my own baby. i don't have any right to leave, let me die...

tara and mrs. dobriyal was shocked, piya was blaming herself for all these.

mrs. dobriyal-: piya, these is not ur fault, destiny have other plans of u, how can u think of death, no my piya can't be so selfish, how will abhay live without u? how will we live? piya, plz beta, try to understand, no one is at fault, it's just game of ur own destiny.

Tara-: yes di, how can u leave jiju? di pls don't think like these, pls di.

Piya became quiet but didn't utter a single word, tara and mrs. dobriya hugged her and meanwhile varun and me dobriyal along with doctor entered, everyone consoled piya but she was now like a statue, she didn't utter a single word, not even cried.

After 15 days

Fifteen days have passed since that incident, raichand mansion is now like a house with emptiness, it was no more the lively house it used to be, for piya, time have stopped, she is now like a person with no life, she just eat's when tara feeds her, but never speaks a single word not even cries, doctor's have tried all kind of treatment's but failed. Varun tried a lot to contact abhay but no avail.

Today tara had a bit fever, so after feeding piya, varun forced her to sleep early. He carresed her forehead and made her sleep but before leaving gave a small kiss on her forehead and decided to head towards his room.

As soon as he got out of tara's room he heard a faint sound of someone crying or sobbing and it was coming from piya's room.

He immediately rushed towards piya's room and there he saw piya sitting on bed holding abhay's picture and continously crying, varun was a bit happy as finally after 15 days he saw piya crying, she was no more the statue without no feelings but soon that happiness was replaced by sympathy and sadness.

Varun immediately rushed towards piya who was looking extremely fragile, heart broken and vulnerable, he immediately started consoling her and tried to make her tears stop, but it was like piya has sensed someone was coming who can only give her consolance.

Suddenly both varun and piya heard a noise of someone entering the house, through the main door, clear foot steps of tht person could be heard, piya very well knew to whom that foot steps can belong to.

She immediately got up and rushed towards the man who have just now entered, followed by varun but to her utter dissapointment the man without giving a single glance towards her went upstairs and closed his room's door leavind behind a shocked and extremely vulnerable piya and a bewildered varun...

Ps-: guys next part is updated, hope u all like it, we have tried our best to make it good, but don't know how is it. Plz read and do comment.

One more thing while going through comments we noticed many wants abhiya romance, scenes now but we need to go according to the storyline so u all have to wait for few updates, so plz have patience.
