PART 51
I promised an update after 14th... here I am...enjoy!
Piya chose the sherwani for Avinash and she went to change for the event. All the time, Arnab sneaked to get a glimpse of his daughter. Piya clad herself in a vine-colored lehenga and chose the jewellery matching to her dress. Abhay also changed into a black coat with a white shirt and a vine-colored tie. He sneaked into Piya's room where she was changing and was mused to find Piya struggling with the lace of her blouse. He entered the room only to scare Piya. She jumped off her feet and then sighed- Abhayā¦knock kar ke aaya karo. Abhay made a 'What did I just hear' look and pulled himself closer to Piya. She turned towards the mirror and left the string for Abhay. Abhay went near and caressed the other tied strings with his cold hands. Piya felt ticklish. She twitched and shivered. Abhay made way to the untied strings and went closer. He removed Piya's hair and shifted them to the left shoulder and kissed her neck. She twisted in chill. Abhay took hold of her blouse's string and tied it. Piya moaned. He loosened the strings a bit and then turned Piya to face him holding her shoulder. Piya smiled at him lifted her weight and stood on Abhay's feet. She kissed his nose and encircled her hands from below his hands and rested her head on his chest. Abhay sniffed under her hair. Piya chuckled softly.
Abhay: I guess kal ki raat aaj repeat hogi?
Piya: why not?
She rested her chin on Abhay's chest and looked at him with an adoring face. Abhay gave her a sweet smile and kissed her forehead cupping her face. There was a knock at the door. Piya and Abhay hurriedly took back their positions as Abhay opened the door for Avi standing helpless.
Abhay: kya hua yr?
Avi: dudeā¦I am damn nervous!
Abhay grinned and asked Piya to go out for some private boyish talks. Piya gave a naughty look to Abhay and she went out to check for the preparations. Avinash's mother instructed her and she worked as if it was her own house. Piya was working but she felt some change in air. As if something was going to be terribly wrong. Yet, she tried to act at peace and be calm and continued her work.
Avi's mother: Piya beta, jaa ke dekhna tohā¦ if Avinash is ready!
Piya: Aunty ji, Abhay Avi ke saath haiā¦ and kuch private talks chal rahi haiā¦u noe these boys na!
Avi's mother: *chuckle* yeahā¦ yeh Avi naā¦ he's such a kid.
Piya: Auntyā¦ he's the way everyone likes him for!
Piya took a plate full of non-oily and greasy palate for Avantika and started for her room. Misha was with Avantika at that time. They were talking formally as they were quite a stranger to each other.
Misha: excuse me Avantika; my mom's calling meā¦ I shld leave!
Avantika: sure Misha, it was nice knowing you.
There was a knock at the door and Misha offered to open it. Avantika agreed and turned to look at herself in the mirror.
Misha opened the door for Piya but before their eyes could meet, Piya was misbalanced by a push from the kids who hit her and ran away. She turned around to those kids and gazed at her dress tracing any damage on it. Meanwhile, Misha went away from the back feeling it unnecessary to wait and see the knocker.
Piya turned inside the room without asking who opened it for her.
Avz: omgā¦thank god! I am damn hungry Piya!
Piya: I know Avzā¦that's why I came here!
Avz: I love u swthrt, muah!
Piya: love you too! Now have this!
Avz: sure!
Piya: hmmphā¦so what plans for today?
Avz: for what?
Piya: Avz! You know na! suhag raat and all?
Avz: shut up Mrs. Raichandā¦ abhi mann nahi bhara kya?
Piya: kiska?
Avz: kitni suhag raat manayegi Piya?
Piya: AVZ!
Avz: he he! Chalā¦ aur bata tum log kab jaa rahe ho?
Piya: I dunno Avzi! Shayad kal subah ki flight hai!
Avz: hmmā¦ k toh kahaan jaa rahe ho?
Piya: hmmā¦ wo toh Abhay mujhe kal hi batayega!
Avz: hmmph! I'll miss you :'(
Piya: aww! I'll miss you too?
Piya: hey heyā¦stop cryingā¦warna make-up kharaab ho jayegaā¦lmao!
Avz: hmmā¦ ok!
Piya: aww! Love you so much!
Avz: me too! L

Avi's mother: Piya betaā¦ek chhota sa kaam kar do! 1st floor mein 3rd room mein Avi ke kuch mama haiā¦ unko neeche bula lao!
Piya: ok Auntyā¦ 1st floor 3rd room!
She flung off to the stair case and then on the first floorā¦ she stepped out from the stairs but was pulled inside a room. It was a really small room stuffed with clothes for the staff of the Sareen House. Piya's heart skipped a beat as cold hands cleared the hairs off her neck. She took a deep breath and gave out a shrill moan. Abhay clutched her handsā¦ and kissed her shoulders. Piya snapped out and gave a naughty yet demanding look.
Piya: kya hai? Ab kya problem hai aapko pati dev?
Abhay: who is pati dev now?
Piya: uffā¦ Abhayā¦ jus go!
Abhay: nahiā¦
Piya: kyun?
Abhay: arey!!! Mera mann!
Piya: *took a deep breath* ok fineā¦ main jaa rahi hoon!
Abhay pulled her by her hands. She turned and gave a fake-angry look. Abhay dimpled his cheeks and Piya's stern look changed into a smiling face.
Piya: Abhayā¦ jaane do na!
Abhay: kahaan jaana hai?
Piya: upar ā¦ *the rooms and floor muddled in her mindā¦recollecting* hmmā¦ 3rd floor 1st room!
Abhay: kyun?
Piya: Avinash ke kuch relatives haiā¦unko bulane!
Abhay: chaloā¦main bhi chalta hoon.
Piya: sureā¦!
Abhay took Piya's hand and they both reached the 3rd floorā¦ the room was locked from inside. Piya knocked at the door struggling to keep Abhay's hands off her. She whispered- Abhayā¦! BEHAVE!!
Abhay grinned.
The door was just closed and not bolted. So Piya entered the room. There was a sitting in the first small room which moved into a room. Piya turned to look at Abhay with a strange confused look. Misha, hearing the door click, came out to see and saw a girl standing. Her face was away from Misha and it seemed there was some man also. She twisted her neck and was devastated. He saw Abhay standing and smilingā¦talking to that girl. As soon as she saw Abhay's glimpse, he twisted his nose smelling a familiar scent. His eyes grew hoarse as he took that girl's hand. He started to walk away but that girl snapped her hand- kya Abhay, kahin bhi you start!
She chuckled and turned around and her eyes met with Misha's eyes. She was stunned to see her after 6 months. Tears formed in both of their eyes but casually they dried them away. Piya had very well learned to control her emotions after that incident which changed her life. Misha gulped. She took to her stern face. Piya tried to act as normal as she can- aunty is calling you guys out. Be quick!
Hearing these voices, even Arnab came out and was as much stunned like others were. This time, it was hard for Piya to control her emotions so she backed off as Abhay came in front of her holding her tightly by her hand. His gesture was a sign for Piya to stay calm. She turned her face away from the others to hide her red teary eyes.
Abhay sternly: all the guests await your presence.
With this sentence, he turned and started to walk out taking Piya with him when Arnab whispered- angel!
Piya heard it and tears dropped from her eyes. She felt a lump in her throat. Abhay had it enough. He couldn't tolerate someone hurting Piya again. He turned and gave a disastrous look to Dobriyals. Piya clutched him tightly. He turned and wiped her tear and then stood between Piya and Arnab like a wall.
Misha: dad, don't you dare try to be charitable again for this charity-case.
Abhay's body grew stiffer and paler. Piya felt the change in him and that was a danger sign for all of them. She wiped her tears and forgot her state to look to Abhay. She came face-to-face with Abhay and clutched his hands. Abhay had started to change color and gestures. He was shivering with anger, just like the earth shivers before a volcano bursts. Piya gulped afraid as she was- she caressed his hands to calm them down.
Piya- Abhayā¦chaloā¦ please!! Abhay!! Abhay!!!
Abhay snarled in a low tone enough only for Piya to hear. She was afraid now. She took his hands and with all her might, gathering all her courage, with all her love, she pulled Abhay out of the room. She wasn't afraid that he would hurt her, but she feared that he would hurt himself and be depressed for not being able to control his animal instincts again. He would curse himself for being a devil and that she could have never let happened. When they were out of the room bolted and locked, Piya was breathing hard, it was not easy to control an angry blood-sucker! But that was not all, she had to take him to the room where he would calm down. She pulled himā¦ but he refused to move. He jerked her away and ran into the room. Piya walked behind him and closed the door. She sneaked to trace Abhay who sat in the balcony hugging his legs and still shivering to control him. By now Piya had completed her masters in tackling her not-so-normal hubby. She sat backing him, touching her back with his and imitated his position.
Piya: main aur meri tanhaiā¦aksar yeh baatein karte haiā¦
Abhay turned and then looked ahead again.
Piya: ki tum hote haiā¦toh aisa hotaā¦
Abhay chuckled softly.
Piya placed her chin on his shoulder and hugged him by inserting her hands below his shoulders.
Piya: aw!! Mera cutie pie upset hai.
Abhay remained moan.
Piya pulled his chin: mera cuteee!!! Kya hua shona!!
Abhay: I shouldn't have reacted that way! I am sorry!
Piya: its okay! You did what was right! And you are apologizing because that is my family? Then let me make this very clear Mr. Abhay MD Raichand, I am Piya Raichand! Your wife! And mom-dad's daughter! Okiee! That wasn't my family!
Abhay kissed her softly: I love you!
Piya: ole le!! Mera bachcha bada ho gaya!! š¤£
Abhay gave her a "you said what!" look and ran behind her. She struggled to run away from him and he ran to catch her. She jumped on the bed and Abhay caught hold of her saree. He pulled it towards him and Piya lost her balance and tripped down on the bed. Abhay also fell over her and her curls flew all over her face. Abhay slowly removed the curls off her face. She was breathing hard and her smell of mint was intoxication Abhay. He had to calm down to return from his tranceā¦ he simply uncovered Piya's saree from over her blouseā¦.
