Chapter 2
Pia's POV -
"OMG, did you accept to be his date then? " misha said as I told her the story.
"Yes, of course. I meant I don't want to but I have to. For your information, I don't want to lose my job, YET. " I smiled and closed my locker.
"Well, well, well... Then I guess you have no choice. " misha giggled.
"I don't find it amusing, mish. " I glared at her with irritation.
"Alright, alright. I was just joking. " misha grinned.
As misha and I walked at the corridor, chatting and joking around, maya walked towards me.
" pia, who's that guy you were with this morning? " maya asked, desperately.
"Him? Oh he was.. Nobody " I grinned. For some reason, I don't want maya to know about abhay. I didn't know why either. I just don't want. That's all.
"Oh are you sure? But he's hot. Are you trying to hide something from me? We're friends since 6, aren't we? Don't hide any secrets from me alright? " She smiled at me and gave me a squeeze but I wanted to shoved her away. She walked away with her 3 friends. Well, You know.. Its kind of sad how her 3 friends looked more like slaves to her instead of friends.
"I swear, she is the most two-face-cow in this entire world. I swear I would love to bash her up on the face! " misha said with full hatred.
"Same here " I walked away with misha and to our classroom.
After the bell rang, we went to our locker to grab our stuff. A letter fell off the ground as I opened the locker. I took the letter up and read the content.
'I will track him down no matter what. Just you wait :) '
I read the content and felt shivers all around my body. misha's jaw dropped as she snatched the letter and read the content.
"This must be maya AGAIN? " misha asked, holding the letter on her hand.
"I don't know. Maybe? " I was trying to calm myself down. I grabs all my belongings and stuff it into my bag.
"pia, I know you. " misha said and grabbed me on my arms. " You're afraid, don't you? You're afraid that maya might do something to that guy you've met in the clubbing, don't you? " misha said and looked me in the eyes.
"No, I'm not afraid at all, mish. He can go for maya for all I care. What I care about right now is my education and my future. I'm a girl with no parents and only a wicked step-mother. I don't have time for love. maya can go for him. I'm not afraid. Got to go, I'll call you when I reach home. Bye. " I shoved her away and walked away.
- misha's POV -
I'm Pia's best friend. I care about her so much. Thinking that she would get threatened by maya like that, I want to justify for her. How can maya treats her like this? But at least...
" pia, you just didn't know you have fell for that guy. " I smiled and walked away. I'm happy for her.
- Pia's POV -
I was planning to walk home as my house was 5 blocks from here. I know, it might be far but I have to. But when I walked out from the school, that's when I realized there was this really cool Ferarri F50 was honking me. I was curious and thought maybe it was honking one of the girls in our school but when the guy came out from the car, I got a goose bump and I felt shivers around my body again. It was abhay. Was he that rich? He fetched me to school using his Posche and now, he was driving Ferarri? He must be some player who flirts around with girls a lot. I sighed and walked towards him as he was approaching me.
"Hey, I came to pick you up as you promised." He grinned. He held my hands and pulled me to his cars. I can see envies in every girls eyes.
"Where are you taking me? "
"You'll know later. " He smirked.
He took me to a shopping complex and into a shop.
"Try your best to dress this girl up. I need her to be perfect." He ordered the staff there.
"Yes sir." The staff actually obeyed him.
"Wait wait wait! What are you doing to me? Where are we going?" I asked anxiously.
"You don't have to bother. Just let them dress you up, it is your job." He smiled.
"But why do I have to listen to you? " My voice broke into irritation.
"Because you have to or else, I'll have to tell your manager that..."
"Fine fine fine! I will do it. " I interrupted before he could say anything. I walked into the fitting room with unsatisfaction feelings.
- Abhay's POV -
She's so cute when she's mad at me. I want her all by myself. I'll never let her go. It has been so long since I have this feelings towards a girl. I guess she's the right one for me. I was choosing my own outfit while waiting for her. After an hour of dressing myself out, pia came out from the fitting room. I looked at her from head to toe. That's when I realized how pretty and gorgeous she is. She was wearing a black tube gown that reached the ground and her hair was tied up neatly but she looked more mature in it. Her lip gloss was light pink that makes me want to kiss her. Her eyes were blue in color and they did something to her eyes that make her look extraordinary and attractive. Her body was no comparison with other woman. I can't believe I fell for a plain girl I thought she was but she wasn't. She has something in her that makes every guys in her life want her so badly. I was tempted by her so badly that I wish to embrace her right away.
"Wow! You're gorgeous." Words just blurted out from my mouth without hesitation.
- Pia's POV -
I blushed as he complimented. I was feeling embarrassed in this outfit as I seldom wear this kind of dress. But somehow, for some reason, I like it a lot.
"Thanks. You looked gorgeous in that outfit too." I smiled.
"You smiled. " His eyes widen and he looked into my eyes.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Curiosity hit me.
"I meant you're smiling. You don't smile at me before."
"Well.. That's because we've just knew each other for 24 hours. You can't expect me to smile all the time, can you?" I grinned.
"Ya, you're right. Ok then, let's go. " He held my hands and headed out the shop.
"Where are we going? " I grabbed his hand and asked.
"You'll know later." He grinned.
After hours of driving, we reached a five-star hotel. There were many wealthy woman and man who walked in the hotel hand in hand. abhay took me in the waist and we walked in the hotel and to the ballroom. As abhay walked in the ballroom, I realized there were many eyes on me especially women. Not with envy but more like jealousy. I ignored the stares.
"Abhay.." I whispered. abhay bend down to talk to me as I was 5ft 6in and he was 6ft 3in." What are we doing here? "
"Now, let's welcome the birthday boy, abhay!" The guy on the stage declared while we were walking in the ballroom. Everyone clapped their hands and welcomed abhay to the room. I was taken aback that tonight was abhay's birthday party. As abhay and I walked to our seats, I whispered to his ear.
"Happy Birthday, Abhay." I don't know why. For some reason, I felt close to him. I felt like I've known him long ago and I felt like I want to love him.
"So now, you know.. This is the reason why I brought you here." abhay smiled.
The party was going on smoothly. abhay was talking to few men who looked really rich and this was when there were few girls came approaching towards me.
"Hey you! What's your name? " One of the girls asked while drinking her champagne.
"I'm pia. " How rude of them to have asked me in that kind of manner, I thought.
"What are you? "
"Sorry? What do you mean by what am I? I'm a human of course." I laughed sarcastically.
"YOU... what's your occupation and where are you working?" They asked in an impolite manners.
"First of all, I'm pia and not YOU, Thanks. Secondly, I work at a clubbing." I grinned.
"Oh My God! You're a club-girl? Oh my gosh! Why are you with abhay, bitch!" They shouted.
"Ermm.. Why am I not with abhay? " I rolled my eyes.
"You're just a club-girl. Don't you know who's abhay?" They asked.
"Ermmm.. sorry but I have no idea who is he."
"Well then, let me tell you something interesting. abhay's one of the richest guys in this country. He owns many companies. He's a billionaire and every women in his life yearn for him. He came from a wealthy family since he was young. " I could felt an electric-shocks went through my body and my face were burning with embarrassment.
"Oh I see. Can you please excuse me? I need to go to toilet. " I smiled and escaped.
I went to toilet and looked myself in the mirror. This isn't me. This isn't me at all. I'm not being, myself, I'm not pia. The one in the mirror must be someone else! It can't be! abhay's a billionaire? My mind was empty. I could think nothing but abhay...

Pia's POV -
Why am I missing him so much right now?
pia.
"pia! " madhu shouted.
"Alright, I'm coming. " I closed my diary, locked it in my drawer and went downstairs. " Yes, madhu? "
"I need you to be at the diner at 3pm. " madhu ordered me while wearing her make-up. The diner that madhu mentioned was actually my father's diner. He ran this popular sports-themed diner since I was born. But he passed away and gave it to madhu. And as my father's daughter, I work in the diner every afternoons.
"Alright, I'll be there. " I waved and she walked out from the house. My head hurts a lot as I was awake last night till midnight to finish up my assignments.
'Speaking of last night, I ran away from the party without abhay. I wrote a letter and asked a worker to passed it to him. I wondered if he read it already. ' I thought.
I changed into a white tank top with my black Paul Frank's jacket and a skinny jeans. I know right, it was so simple. But who cares, it's not like I'm going to school for a fashion show. Well, maybe other girls do.
- Abhay's POV -
'abhay, I'm sorry. I'm not feeling well, I'm going back. Happy Birthday again. Bye.'
This letter was passed to me by a worker. He told me there's a pretty girl who was wearing a black gown passed it to him. It must be pia. What happened to her? Just when I needed her so much on my birthday night.
"Hmph! She deserved it! Nobody asks her to go near abhay, isn't it? And she was acting OH-SO-LOVELY in that dress. " One of the girls who was holding her champagne smirked.
"Love her dress, HATE HER. " Another girl continued.
"Hey you girls over there! " I called out as I was feeling frustrated.
"Oh yes, abhay? I'm t. " That girl was holding the champagne earlier came up to me and grinned.
"I don't care what's your name or who are you. I just want to know who's the 'she' you're referring to in your conversation. " I huffed.
"Oh.. That? Uhh.. She's... she's an outsider. Ignore her. " t grinned. " Abhay, tonight is your day, why don't... we go somewhere fun? " She winked at me.
"Sorry, I'm not interested in you. " I walked away, knowing it must be pia who they were referring to. I drove home alone after my party.
That night, my mind was full of pia. Her eyes, her lips and the way she brushed her fingers through her hair. Her every movements made me shivers with excitement. I've never felt this way towards a girl before. This pia girl, she had already won my heart.
- Pia's POV -
"Pia! Why are you here? " My god-mother, dapu exclaimed. She's been my god-mother for forever. I can't tell her how grateful I felt, having her in my life. She's more like my mother than a god-mother and she's so much better than that wicked madhu.
"What? Me? I'm here to work, of course. " I said while picking up the plates from the table and put it in my white bucket which every workers have to carry it to collect the dirty dishes from every tables.
"What about your school? "
"My school starts at 4.30, dapu. I still have time. Moreover, madhu asked me to work today. She said our diner was lacked of workers right now. Anyhow, its dad's diner. How can I just sit there, doing nothing when our diner's lacked of workers right now? " I rolled my eyes and continued collecting the dirty dishes into my bucket.
"pia, you should know. Your dad wants the best for you. He wants everything perfect for you. You need to go to school right now. Don't worry about the diner. As long there's your big family and I around, your dad's diner will be ok. " dapu snatched at bucket from me. " So now, go to school pia. " dapu 'shoo-ed' me.
"But... "
"Yes, pia. You should listen to dapu. Forget about that big-face- madhu. She's good for nothing. " My uncle, guravwho works there as a chief interrupted.
"Exactly, pia. " My aunt, jen said while giving order.
"Alright, alright. I'll be going to school then. " I smiled at them widely and gave dapu a big hug. I took my bag and left.
- Dapu's POV -
"This poor little girl, she lost her father and mother since young and now, she's facing a major problem with her step-mother. " I sighed as I recalled the old memories where pia lost her parents.
"Well, dapu. You gotta know, this madhu woman is really hard to please and she's giving pia a hard time. I think she's up to something. " jen added.
"Ya but it all depends on the God. " I sighed and continued with my work.
- Pia's POV -
"So, how was the date last night? " misha asked while taking her books.
"Date? What date? " And that was when I remembered the party last night. " Oh, the date... " I hesitated.
"Don't even bother of lying, just spit it out already. " misha said.
"Well... It was his birthday last night. He dressed me up and took me to a five-star hotel for his birthday party.. "
"Wow.. Is he from a wealthy family? " misha's eyes widen as I told her the story.
"Well, he's a... he's sorta some kind of billionaire? "
"What?! Billionaire?! " misha yelled and stood up.
"Shhh! What are you doing? " I closed her mouth and pushed her down to her chair.
"Oops. Sorry. " She apologized. " And so? What happened? How do you know he's a billionaire? "
"Well, I went to his party and there was these 3 girls who came up to me and condemned me. They said I should be ashamed of myself for being a club-girl and that I don't deserve abhay and bla bla bla. " I said.
"What? How can they say this to you? Who are they to say those words to you? "
"They're from wealthy families, mish. You can't compare them with me. I'm just a poor girl who lost my parents since I was born and they're like princesses. " I smiled.
"pia! I'm never ever wanna hear the lost-my-parents or poor-girl from your mouth. You're much more special than anyone else. So what if they're princesses? This proves that they're still a baby. " misha comforted.
" mish, thanks. But I really don't want to talk about them anymore. I don't even want to think about the party last night. It was a disaster to me. I ran away after knowing that abhay was a billionaire. I was definitely not belong to that world. " I smiled.
"Alright, pia. Just so you know, I'm always there for you. " misha grinned.
"Thanks. " I answered and walked to my classroom.
After the bell rang, I walked to my locker alone. I passed by maya and her friends, they were smirking at me. I rolled my eyes with irritation and walked away. I opened my locker and another paper fell off the ground. I picked it up and read the content.
' pia, I can see you from far away. You're so gorgeous. I wish to have you all by myself. From : j '
Somehow, It sounds creepy and it freaked me out. Who's this j guys or should I call him stalker? I turned and looked around but I don't see any suspicious people around me. I stuff the paper into my bag and walked out the school. Just when I wanted to walk home, misha texted me.
'You going to work tonight? '
'Yes, I'm going. ' I replied.
'Oh, pia. I'm sorry, I might not be going. Help me to tell manager I have emergency. Family stuff again. Will tell you tomorrow. Bye \(^.^)/ '
"Well, I guess its myself again tonight. " I sighed and walked to DANCE ALL NIGHT.
"Pia, you're here. Faster change and start working. "
"Oh alright. Manager? mish isn't coming tonight. She has something to do with her family. She asked me to inform you. " I grinned.
"Oh alright. Then can you replace her as well? Do you think you can manage to do 2 jobs? "
"Sure, I can. " I smiled.
"Alright, thanks. " Manager patted my shoulder and walked away.
"Hey, pia. I'm free tonight so let me close the pub for you alright? You're the only girl, its dangerous. " my co worker grinned.
"Oh alright. Thanks a lot then. " I grinned and went to the changing room.
It was half past 12 and I was walking alone in a dark street. I was so scare but I had no choice. I have to work this late. Usually, mish and I will take a cab home but I didn't want to waste my money and decided to walk. But for some reason, I regretted it. And this was when I saw this dark alley behind this building, it was really near to my house. Instead of taking another 20 minutes walking to my house on the road, I decided to take a shortcut and walked through the alley. But I was wrong. I was so wrong and I regretted for even stepping into this dark alley. There's this unknown guy came up to me and blocked me. He was so much taller than me and he smirked at me when I lifted my head up.
"I've waited for you so long, pia... " He smirked.
