Chapter 23 (242 Kisses)

Raichand Mansion:

Amber came out of shower and looked at the clock. Its 8am already. Abhay and Aryan should be here with Pia anytime. She stood infront of the mirror and looked at her hands. The dirt is gone and the wounds will heal but how she will heal her heart? The silver chains dig into her skin pretty deep. The burnt marks are still there and not completely healed. She prayed the wounds should heal quickly and if Abhay sees this... She looked for any antidote or potions that would heal her wounds quickly but couldn't find any. Aryan must know where it is. Whatever she does she can't forget the crestfallen look of Arman's face seeing her as a vampire.

"Are you going to kill me?"

"Maybe I should but I'm not sure if I can."

"You..you knew I was a vampire all along?"

"No.. I didn't because I'm not a slayer but just a vampire hunter. So is my dad. He used to say vampires don't live in this town anymore so the head of vampire hunting committee who is a true slayer left town ages ago... And even if I knew you are a vampire.. I don't think I could have killed you."

"Why?"

"Don't you know that?"

"It would be still nice to hear it from you..."

(nervous chuckles) "Seriously? Off all the time I was following you like a lost puppy you are asking me now? The situation here is overrated for a confession. You are tied with silver chains and apparently a vampire hunter is infront of a vampire. Woww..."

"Then kill me if you want.. I can't stop you now because I'm helpless or I could never kill you either. I wanted you to hate me but you never did. You are a good human. It's your choice now. But just to let you know I'm not bad vampire. I don't kill people because I'm a doctor too who save people's life rather then killing them."

This conversation was allover Amber's mind right now. She couldn't think anything else right now. She looked at her wounds again while opening a blood bag and pouring it in a tall glass. It was Arman who unchained her. Each and every minute was so critical she just can't forget even a nanosecond of what happened last night.

"How you control your thirst being a doctor? Blood doesn't bother you?"

(smiles) "It does. And it's about the will power. I hated myself when I wake up and saw I'm a vampire and I just lost my child..."

(shock, sadness and sympathy clearly visible in his eyes and finally touched her wounds) "You are hurt. Is there anything I can do and why he wanted to kill you? why he was torturing you?"

(pause) "Because he was the father of my child unfortunately. Met him after a hundred years."

"What? (long pause) I donno what to say... does that mean your brothers? They are... Too?"

"You can say the word Arman.. it's called vampire.. blood sucking creature... whatever you want to call."

Hospital:

Misha insisted she would take Pia wid her because she is enough to take care of her but Abhay is adamant to take Pia wid him. Pia agreed with Misha and wanted to go back to Manor but Abhay didn't listen to anyone.

Arnab Dobriyal was waiting outside and ready to sign the discharge papers because he saw the kids busy. When he was about to sign the papers Aryan came and interrupted, "Uncle. Thanks so much but no need. Bhai will sign the papers as he already paid the bills. Now Pia is giving her statement to Police about the accident. We will leave as soon the formalities are done."

Arnab returned the papers to the nurse and smiled, "Ok beta, as you wish and Commissioner is a friend of mine so I would talk to him about the accident and make sure the culprit is caught."

Aryan thanked him and left.

Arnab Dobriyal missed to know the truth about his long gone daughter for just 30 seconds. Because before he even looked at the papers and see the name "Pia Jaiswal" nurse was gone.

Aryan was driving while Abhay was sitting with Pia at the back. Misha was sitting beside Aryan at the front who even after everything refused to go back with his dad. Abhay noticed she is upset.

"Misha, don't hold on the ego issue when you want to go home back to your parents. They will always want the best for you. Go back."

Misha was astounded at Abhay's sudden suggestion, "What dude, you read minds kya? Actually its not just ego.. I'm still not ready I guess. But thanks I will think about it."

They dropped her at the Manor ad Misha packed some cloths for Pia who is very weak leaning back on the car. On the way back to Raichand Mansion Aryan called, "Pia.."

Pia snapped, "Don't talk to me."

"oopss.."

She wasn't talking to Abhay either looking all grumpy because she has still lots of unanswered questions but quickly she drifted to sleep because of the medicines. Her head lopsided on the back and Abhay quickly pulled her near and she peacefully rested her head on his shoulders. Aryan smiled at them looking at the rearview mirror and Abhay gestured him to be silent because Pia is sleeping. Rest of the road passed like this. Sometime even the silence seems very sweet and right at this moment, the silence and the only sound of Pia's deep breathing is the sweetest kind of sound for Abhay Raichand in this entire world now.

Dobriyal House:

Arman was lying flat on his back trying to wipe every minute of last night from his memory but not working. He closed his eyes and all he could see was the beautiful face of Amber with dangling white fangs and blue eyes. He doesn't want to remember her like this. He should have told her to compel him but no, facts are facts and right now the biggest truth of his life is, the girl he fell in love the moment he set his eyes on her is a vampire. In simple words, she is his worst enemy but he loves her. He trailed his hand between his curly hairs again... His head was pounding. His father just called and informed everything is settled and he doesn't need to come right now anymore. Arman decided to sleep so the event would prove as a nightmare when he will wake up. Alas! He saw everything repeatedly in his dreams again.

"Don't say like this Amby.."

"That's what I'm.. It's my identity. It's not what we choose to be but it's our bitter truth. Do you have any idea how does it feels for someone when your entire existence depends on something you hate and you never wanna be and you also know it's never ending because I'm immortal. Being a vampire is a curse for us..we are not happy because we don't age, we look beautiful or we will live forever. We don't want all these. We just wanted to be NORMAL which we can't. (She paused)

Arman looked at her pitifully and touched her face, "Just testing you are real."

Her beautiful green eyes were melancholic.

"I'm sorry you have to go through so much pain in your life. I could only imagine the fashion diva, haughty and snobbish Amber Raichand has such dreadful past and she is hiding so much pain inside her. I promise I won't spill your identity or your families. I know they are good.. I have seen it. But.. I can't be friends with you anymore. It's not easy for me either."

(His voice broke and Amber just nodded)

"I understand and respect your opinion."

Suddenly the wolf attacked on Arman. None of them noticed he was awake again. He was weak because of the wounds so Amber lurched into his neck sinking her teeth deep to stop Gaurav hurting Arman. Gaurav jumped and jerked Amber way because she too was hell weak with the silver chain wounds. Arman shoot him with wooden bullets and he howled crazily while escaping from the spot...

Arman wake up sweating.. This incident is never ever going to rest him in peace..

Raichand Mansion:

Amber walked down the stairs quickly hearing the sound of car outside. She wore a full sleeves shirt to hide the marks from Abhay.

Abhay was about to carry Pia outside the car but she woke up as the car stopped. Both the brother tried to help her walk and she was royally irritated and embarrassed, "For god sake guys, my legs are FINE.. It's my hand in plaster and I can walk."

Both the brothers share a glance and sighed. As Pia walked inside Amber came running and hugged her, "Thank God Pia, you are safe. Everyone was so worried."

"Where have you been Amby? And what happened to you? You look different...are you like Abhay too?" In the end Pia's voice lowered almost as a whisper.

Amby was stunned and unprepared to answer this question so she looked at Abhay with a blank look. Abhay only said, "She remembers everything."

Pia sounded very hurt this time, "did you lie to me also?"

Amber rapidly shook her head, "no.. trust me. I didn't and it was a shock for me when I came to know who you are.."

"Can we skip this reunion discussion later? Pia needs to rest." Abhay snapped inbetween. Pia glared at him but she was really weak so decided not to argue right now. Pia's stuffs were shifted to a room beside Amber and Amber took her to the room because Pia will also need help in bath too as her one hand is on plaster. Abhay and Aryan have no say right in anything because the girls aren't really paying attention to them. Aryan was ok with it but noone gives silent treatment to Abhay Raichand so he decided to take revenge on his with Pia. He knows how exactly he has to do it.

Later when Amber prepared lunch for Pia and took the tray to her room she was already in deep sleep. She sighed and informed Abhay. He was waiting to have a conversation with Amber because the marks of the hand apparently didn't go unnoticed by him.

"Don't lie ok? Who did this?" Abhay asked angrily.

Amber understood there's no point of lying and told them the entire truth."

Abhay was holding a glass and it broke with the pressure of is hands in rage, '" I will rip that b****** heart and cut him into pieces then feed his own fellow doggies."

Amber tried to come him down and said right now they should concentrate and take care of Pia because Gaurav escaped.

Aryan shook his head and thought, "That idiot messed with two most favorite women of Abhay raichand. He is soo dead."

Pia slept till midnight and woke up feeling better. The entire room was dark but she could feel someone's presence there. She slowly called his name, "Abhay.. (pause) Abhay... I know you are here.."

Abhay came out of the dark looking puzzled, "How did you know I'm here."

Pia gave a weak smile and replied, "I can always tell when you are near me. I feel you."

"You need feeding. I will bring your food and medicine. Wait." Abhay ran into his vampire speed and came back with a tray full of soup, bread, spaghetti, salad, juice and medicine. It was actually easier to be with Pia when he doesn't need to hide himself. He slowly feed Pia bit of everything while she asked, "where he was when she left Manali, how come they reached Dehradun, when did Amber came to know? What was his reaction when he saw her again and etc etc"

Abhay answered around a hundred questions and the food was finally done. "Can we play your question answer round later? I'm not running away you know."

Pia (lowering her head sadly): "what's the guaranty you won't? You might escape again."

Abhay felt a bit guilty and touched her chin pulling it up a bit, "I won't. I'm here. And if we are done I have something else to do."

Pia (puzzled): "Like?"

Abhay cleared the tray back to kitchen and brought a bandage cutting scissors. Pia was trying to digest this Abhay but she was happy he is being normal around her. She asked timidly looking at the scissors, "What is this for? And where's Amby and Aryan?"

"Amby checked on you before she left and she has gone for hunting now and Aryan is in study. And this is for cutting your plaster."

Pia looed timid, "but you are not doctor Abhay. And..and would that be safe?"

"All your internal injuries should be healed by now because you have my blood in your system and those haven't I have other methods to make them ok."

Pia was so apprehensive and worried she didn't ask anything about the vampire blood though she still have loads of questions. She trusted Abhay and knows already whatever he would do it would be in favor of her. She silently watched him cutting down the plaster and Abhay started to plan a trail of gentle kisses starting from her palm of the hand. He slowly made his way continuing with the trail of kisses from her palm and approaching to her elbow. Pia closed her eyes and clutched the corner of her skirts with the other hands tightly. She could hear her heart thumping loudly inside her cage. She wondered if she could hear her heartbeats so clearly Abhay obviously does. But right now the heart was is no mood to rest. She felt like million butterflies flying inside her stomach as she realized Abhay's moist lips has reached near her shoulder. Then suddenly she felt Abhay's lips on his feet where she got a few scratches and Abhay was healing them. After a while, she felt his cool breathe on her cheeks and she has no strength to open her eyes and face him. Abhay smiled looking at Pia who was breathing fast now. He gently kissed Pia's cheek and whispered in her ears, "Open your eyes Pia. It's only 70, how will you survive the rest 170? It was your deal."

Pia snapped her eyes open and say Abhay very very close to him looking very mischievous right now. She gulped hard realizing she won't even survive after next 50 maybe.. forget about 170. She almost jumped away from Abhay and stammered, "errmm.. no punishment.. it was a bad idea.. I will think something else.." But Abhay was all up for it now. He started approaching her cornering her towards the wall, "No no.. No canceling... I really like this punishment.. I want to finish it."

Pia couldn't believe her ears and started feeling weak on her knees. She shook her head in major disapproval when Abhay finally cornered her way to the wall and there's no escape.

Abhay (smiling a little): "what about we divide the punishment in half? Fair share.. 120 you and 120 me."

Pia gulped hard and suddenly the glinting blue eyes of Abhay of melted her inside. Finally he is opening up to him. He is behaving normal and not trying to stay away. He is even smiling. These beautiful eyes were full of mischievous but the shine of pure love is not to be missed. She stroked Abhay's cheek with the back of her hand affectionately spreading warmth to Abhay's face which went all deep down his heart. She kissed both of his cheeks gently before even realizing why she did it. Then Pia kissed Abhay's nose, his forehead standing on her tiptoes and Abhay closed his eyes feeling the beautiful moment of love and contentment. Suddenly she hugged him tightly as her voice close to breaking down, "please promise me you won't leave me ever again. Don't try to push me away Abhay...I might not be able to endure the pain of loosing you again."

Abhay was very touched at this sudden outburst but the last thing he wanted was seeing tears in Pia's eyes. He hugged her back with similar intensity and stroked Pia's back assuring her, "I won't Pia. Every minute I stayed away from you and all the times I have hurt you.. it was like hurting myself again and again. I can't see you in pain but I'm not good for you either. It's that.. It's.. sometimes I'm scared I might hurt you."

Pia left the embrace and faced Abhay, "Again? When will you understand Abhay the only thing that can stop me from hurting is when you are with me... see my hand which was plastered minutes ago and now completely fine. Just because of you. You are my lifeline Abhay."

Suddenly Abhay's mood changed and he bore out his fangs and Pia gasped in fear but she didn't move. Abhay looked at Pia painfully, "see.. this is who I'm and would you still say I can't hurt you."

Pia's heart was thumping in shock, a bit of fear but also excitement. She was a bit frightened but she also knows without Abhay her life means nothing and she is even alive because of him. She slowly touched Abhay's face tracing his jawline. His fangs vanished. Pia kissed Abhay's cheeks and finally his lips gently whispering, 'I'm not afraid of you Abhay. Just be with me and have faith on me. We will survive it. Even destiny wants us together Abhay.. and that's why after everything we are here .. together."

The flood was emotional lead them to a passionate hug and finally both lips met throwing emotional fireworks inside each other's bodies. Abhay held her close to him loosing his senses in passion and Pia matched his passion equally by pulling Abhay closer to him so that it would difficult to separate them. Abhay swiped Pia off her feet without breaking their long-lasting kiss and laid her down to the bed. His mouth moved to Pia's cheeks as he planted moist kisses all over her face, going down to her throat, then her collarbone, neck and shoulders. Pia was breathing heavily and her senses were no longer working. Her stomach was churning and she felt dizzy. Their passion overcame the tension of tomorrow as they longed for each other's love and after so many days when they finally had chance to be with each other all they want is to love and love and love...

Abhay sucked the hollow of Pia's neck leaving the first hickey on her body marking his authority. His defenses were almost breaking down with the myriad of emotions Pia was making him feel. Pia moaned a little with Abhay's fervent touch on her. Abahy moved down slowly as he lifted Pia's t-shirt a little and kissed on her navel several times. Pia sighed his name and clutched Abhay's hand on her waist. Suddenly he stopped thinking he has crossed his boundaries but Pia pulled him closer. Both were breathing heavily now trying to clam themselves down.

Abhay whispered, "Have I gone too far? I'm sorry."
Pia caressed his face and kissed his cheek, "No. you haven't."

When their breathing became even Abhay chuckled, "By the way, I covered 230 so I passed the first punishment right. Though yours one included...group effort!!"

Pia was resting her head on Abhay's chest tilted her head in surprise blushing hard, "You have been counting?"

Abhay: "off course.. only 10 left and I can cover it if you want..."

But Pia covered his mouth with hers with another passionate kiss followed by gentle kisses all over Abhay's face.

Abhay held Pia close to him as both lie down beside each other, "it was 242..why two extra?"

"Bonus for accomplishing the punishment." Pia teased him though going tomato red with blushing.

"I love you Pia.. you are my light.."

"I love you more then I can say or explain Abhay.."

Pia drifted off to sleep resting her head on Abhay's chest feeling blissful. It was heaven for both of them ... in each other's arms.

Outside Dehradun:

Around 5am Peehu entered Dehradun City. She was sleepy and exhausted. She reached her new place at Dehradun where she will stay around 3 weeks at 6am. She was not happy coming to this place again where her past is rooted but job is a job. She entered her new house, changed and quickly drifted to sleep.

On the other part of Dehradun Aryan was in deep sleep unknown to the storm which is soon going to hit him bringing his past colliding with his present and messing up everything around. People call it collateral damage.
