I've read only 7 chps of da 1st bk n havent watched da 1st season so cant say xactly bt i still prefer da show..
jeremy is nt der in da bk! elena has a sister 'Margaret'! Caroline n Elena r childhood frndz bt Caroline is always jealous of Elena! Meredith is another frnd of Elena! Tyler is a jerk in da first few chps!Katherine's past is totally different!
