Alina late at night with Abhay at his Mansion with the rest of his clan now had their meeting adjourned. Alina trembling in fear sought solace in Abhay who'd taken her to his room away from the prying eyes of his parents who did not approve of his liason with the enemies daughter. Too bad he thought because if they wanted him as their leader they would have to do it his way and this meant with no violence unless it was unavoidable. There was enough bloodshed to last them a lifetime.
Abhay offered Alina a glass of Vodka to settle her nerves and to give her a false sense of confidence. She appeared to be a little worse for wear. He felt sorry for her. It was his hobbie picking up humans in this case a werewolf in need of his help. It gave him purpose and took his thoughts away from his main priority in life Pia. Alina eyed Abhay with gratitude for taking her in taking sips of vodka and coughing.
Abhay softly asks with concern watching Alina on his chair facing him-Alina tell me what's going on? Why are U looking like you've run through a blistering heavy storm?
Alina takes her glasses off then shutters her eyelids rubbing them-My families gone crazy Abhay?
Abhay joked-What else is new Alina? They were crazy from the get go.
Alina steadies her uneven breath-They are after my blood Abhay. They want to kill me. I didn't know where else to go. I couldn't go to the Dobrials in case Jeh does something stupid. Abhay i am scared. This time they've lost it.
Abhay hands Alina a tissue which used to come in handy for Pia-Hre. (This seemed very serious) Go on Alina i am listening.
Alina chokes her sobs continuing on-They are p****d off at me for telling the girls about where Pia was. Jeh thinks i betrayed him. He thinks i am a traitor and with me dead a new leader can take place. I'm not cut out for this role Abhay. I am not prepared to rule over my clan hell bent on massacring innocent lives just to avenge what they feel is revenge on all vampires. I don't possess leadership qualities and i can't let them hurt U either Abhay.
Abhay had a deep respect for Alina. Despite what she'd been through it was a miracle Alina remained sane no wonder she was such a mess emotionally and mentally weak-So U are the the new leader of your clan Alina?
Alina nodded nervously-U must not run away from your duties Alina. U must reclaim your rightful place in the eyes of your people Alina. If U are serious about ending this blood fest Alina then we have to do something about it.
Alina frowned placing her glasses back on-How?
Abhay reveals-I am the newly appointed Vampire leader of my clan Alina and though i have reluctantly taken up this position i feel this could benefit both our people.
Alina had powers her family weren't aware of. Maybe there was a way for this feud between their clan to end. Abhay and Alina had to unite. Alina had to accept her responsibilities and overthrow her mother from power. Alina had to embrace her powers. She had to embrace her destiny. Her fate she'd been fighting her whole teenage life. Alina was the chosen one be it by birth but it was no longer something she could run away from. She'd evaded her brothers wrath with her powers. Alina had to act fast before her brother made his next move.
Alina softly spoke glancing back and forth from Abhay to her trembling hands-Abhay my being a werewolf isn't the only secret i have been keeping although U already knew this. I can do things with my mind. I think i am a kind of witch. There is something we can try but U have to trust me. Its a blood oath bonding us for life. It means our powers become one almost. It can only be done between the head of two clans but my mother has to die in order for this to work.
Abhay let out a laugh-You've been saving her everytime i've tried to kill her.
Alina went tense-I know but with her in charge i can never take control. Her powers must be passed down to me Abhay. I don't want to do this.
Abhay knew all too well about being the reluctant hero-I know Alina but your family all belong in hell no offence. Trying to kill one of their own is a trait that should belong to us but in a pack this is unheard of.
Alina found a kindred spirit in Abhay. One who understood her plight. One who was going through the same motions as her with destiny screwing with them. Abhay was truly destined to be a ruler by his good deeds. Alina thought the future would be brighter with him at the helm of the vampires.
Abhay offered Alina a place to crash for the night watching over her. They had a destiny to fulfil and a future to save. Their first job was to kill Deepanita Khurana and their second was to bring Jeh in line. It was an impossible task but Abhay's middle name was impossible if not improbable. He loved a challenge. Maybe in doing so Pia would be safe and he could be free from Pia altogether.
Deepanita Khurana was back at home screaminug profusely at Jeh for allowing Alina to get away free. She was enraged by her son's stupidity at risking their plan to finish the vampires with their secert weapon. Alina was a loose cannon and she was their ace. Who knew where this girl was.
Jeh defended his action-Alina had it coming. U don't understand Mom.
Deepanita slapped her son hard across his cheek-No excuses Jeh. Our mission was to groom her into a killing machine. You've seen the powers she possesses.. If she uses it against us we are finished. U say she has a soft spot for Abhay. If she goes to him we are as good as dead. (Screams) All this planning and scheming would be in vain. I left U in charge and even then U couldn't do one simple thing. I told U to kill that Dobrial Girl so Abhay feels the pain he inflicted on us. Losing a loved one was perfect. Then U lose Alina. Killing Alina wasn't part of the plan Jeh. How stupid are U? U are willing to kill family but don't have the guts to kill a human. U are compromised Jeh.
Jeh pleaded with his Mother-Pia is innocent Mom.
Deepanita slapped Jeh again-Enough! (She raged) Pia is the reason this whole war escalated in the first place. Alina is your blood and my true heir. As much as it pains me my weakest chink in the chain has all the powers U don't have. Mentally U might be stronger and physically but it is Alina with everything we need to end the vampires.
Jeh is broken inside watching his mother turn her back on him with a deafening silence. He could take all her abuse but her silence was deadly. Jeh loved his mother and worshipped her every word-Mom please don't shun me.
Deepanita cackled-This is what we call a pin-tar moment where all the talking is done in silence. Now bring your sister back Jeh at all cost and kill the Dobrial brat. Pia must die. An eye for an eye. Abhay killed your brother now U must kill his prized possession. Pia has to die.
Jeh gulped his mouth going dry sadly nodding-Your wish is my command mother. Pia will die.
Deepanita laughs-Oh we will see if U really do have the guts and the blood of the wolves in your veins to pull this off. Now leave me. Neel has some explaining to do.
Neel gulped feeling the tirade about to befall on him-Mom i swear i didn't mean to tell the Dobrial's everything but i took all the blame.
Deepanita slapped Neel-I forgive U son only because U are human. Being stupid can't be helped but U will be my back up. Kill Pia if Jeh fails.
Next day Pia follows all her clues by reading everything on Maithali on Loogle. She was the spitting image of her and from what she saw from her flashbacks pretty much alive. Pia read on the internet that being around familiar places from her memory would push her mentally to bring back her memories. Pia had practices all night long with mental exercises to evoke the Jaiswal inside of her and drowning herself in the memories of Abhay Raichand. He was the key to bringing out her memories. Abhay was her saviour, her HERO, her Messiah, Her Angel her everything and to aquire him permanently in her life any risk was worth taking. Pia read that Maithali perished in the fire and so did her lover Abhayendra and his brother Sid. It was a report written by Pia Jaiswal on the College site. How did she not come across this before? There was no photo of either of these people. Pia did a detailed search on the net. Abhayendra Singh and Sidharth Singh were brothers. Both loved Maithali. Pia's head hurt. It was almost like something was stopping Pia from digging deep. Pia rooted through a box of old junk left in the store room belonging to her olf life secretly rummaging through everything that was the old Pia Jaiswal. She found a few old pictures of a black and white photo of Abhay with Sid? Pia pressed her brain having network problems. On the back of the photo in her handwriting it had Abhayendra and brackets love heart and Abhay written on it. While Sidharth's had only Sid written on it. Nothing made sense. There was a photo of herself in the middle butwith straight hair. Her hands were clasped with Abhay's causing Pia to become green with envy. Why was she jealous over a photo of herself. Because she isn't U thought Pia thickly.
Pia was back at the wretched burnt down place. It was the moment of truth. Pia thought mentally he was freaking crazy to be pulling a stupid stunt like this. Desperate causes meant for desperate measures. This place was isolated. Perfect. Pia had faith Abhay would come for her. He always came for her. Now it was time to see why he and how he did this? Pia got the kerosene can and started to pour out the liquid around the badly burnt down place. This should finish the place off for good. Pia lit the match and did what she thought would bring back her memories. Fire was the key and so was Maithali. Abhay was linked with this somehow. Pia saw the fire spread around her with awe. This was all familiar. Pia felt her head throb and the recollection hit her. Pia screamed for help as realisation hit her. Pia had done this before to find out what Abhay was?
Abhay felt the after-effects his very core shaking at Pia's recklessness. Abhay had no time for Alina to get up. He was forced to do what he'd done before. Pia had done the same mistake again. He saw Pia choking inhaling the fumes. Abhay didn't have a moment to lose hoping he could get away with using his normal powers and not rely on his vampire side to help him. Pia felt as if she'd been poured some electric languid liquid run through her entire body convulsing to the ground which was a phenomenon of its own. Something happened to Pia while she was having a fit. Power ran through her body. A power only given to the selected few. The power to slay. The power to wield at will.
Abhay had no idea what was going through Pia and blew caution to the wind. He saved Pia from the flames with her watching him closely. His fangs were expsoed but there was no fear in Pia's eyes. He was her Abhay. Pia's mind whizzed through accepting Abhay just as CW had asked her to keeping an open mind. The bad wasn't so bad but he was beautiful. Her Angel was now her Dark angel. Abhay was Abhayendra. Maithali came back to reclaim what was once hers only Abha was never hers. Abhay was her Abhay. Sid tried to kill her. Maithali tried to kill her. Pia's whole body shut down.
Abhay placed Pia down to the ground. He lifted her eye lid just to see if she would respond to his touch. Her eyes were all white-Pia! Baby wake up. Pia! Pia! Why did U have to be so damn stubborn? Why didn't i come when i sensed U in trouble?
Pia in her comatic state shifted through her jumbled memories sorting them out in sequence.
Abhay kissed Pia's lips waking her up feeling power crackled on his lips. Pia wasn't just his normal Pia anymore something happened to her-Pia wake up.
Pia fluttered her eyes open slowly smiling back at Abhay and hugged him like she'd been away from his for an eternity-Abhay. My Abhay. My sweet sweet Abhay. Why did U do this to me? (Pia's emotional outburst swelled his chest) Never leave me again Abhay. Don't ever leave me again.
Abhay took Pia in his arms-Pia U don't understand...
Pia smiled-What your a vampire. Big deal. I'm a human. Deal with that and love it or loathe it i am here to stay with U.
Abhay protested-But Pia we can never...
Pia wasn't listening-Abhay we can be together for as long as my human life has the will to live and for as long as this heart beats Abhay it will always be with U.
Abhay tried-I am a hunter Pia. A hunter can never love its prey.
Pia dared Abhay-As long as i have passion in my every breath Abhay this lamb will always love her lion and if U can't accept that then tough. I will put myself through fire and hell just so U can be with me forever.
Abhay saw the dhaba on his way getting something for Pia to drink.
The Chai Wala Baba was there-I see U have found your answers Pia.
Pia now sitting down smiled-That i have Baba. Thank U so much.
Cw-Pia! U have been chosen to fight alongside Alina and Abhay to salvage this feud between the Cold ones and the warm blooded ones.
Pia looking very distressed-I don't understand.
CW laughed-Abhay and Pia U are chosen for a reason. Abhay is the new Leader of his clan. Alina for hers and U my dear are the protagonist. U hold the power to bring calmness and clarity between the two feuding families. U are the Slayer. U have unlocked your full potential thanks to opening the portal to your new future. By allowing your mind to roam free Pia U have unlocked a power within yourself. This power is only passed down because for every generation there can only be one. See the slayer before U passed her gift on to every potential. U my dear weren't a potential until U opened your mind allowing every entity to flow through U. Your reward for this selfless act is unlimited power.
Abhay was never shocked by anything in his life but this had him shell-shocked.
