What ever he may have been in the last 200 years, he is not the same old Abhay.

As Haseena said Abhay changed a lot in the year after he met Piya. He distanced himself against the world and was mourning in the memory of beloved. But when he first saw Piya, who resembled his love, it was hatred,not being able to accept the existence of another person resembling his love. He did all in his means to get her away from his sight even to the extent of getting her expelled. He then allowed his human conscience to take over his hatred and told Misha that he lied about Piya enjoying her birthday party with Kabir. He decided that they would remain separate ways. But Piya couldn't distance herself from him, and though unitentionally she always found a means to be with him even to fight him, when she accused him of cheating Maya. It was an anger of not being able to accept Abhay as a cheat rather than his really cheating Maya. Her efforts to expose him was more to tell her heart that he is not innocent as heart believes him to be. When she knew about Danish, she really felt bad for accusing him and did not hesitate to turn against the whole world to say that he is innocent and even more adamant to expose Danish. Abhay, who chose to be recluse, could not resist her concern towards him, when she said that he can never be a villian to her. The human in him could not resist that concern. He was never arrogant, he just showed arrogance to stay away from people, He was curious to know what she is upto and when he came to know that she had done a mistake of rubbing Danish on the wrong side, a typical college boyish attitude had taken over him, that he took her to his house against the will of his parents to save his gal. Since that time, he could not see her as just any other person but one very special to him. And when his special one was turned down and taunted by every one, he could not stop himself being indifferent and ran to her support. His human side started surfacing from then on, It was not just Piya, but he was wild with Danish for hurting Maya and cheating Panchi, He did not even allow Danish to touch Misha, when she fainted on the engagement day. And on the day of earthquake, it was not just for the sake of Piya, even he could not allow Misha to be trapped and he even risked his identity in the process of saving her. His anger returned when he saw that Piya had changed her hair style to look like Maithli in the photo. It was not anger against Piya, but an anger within himself, that while one part of him was ready to accept Piya as someone special to his heart, the other part was adamantly refusing to accept the fact that some one else could take Maithli's place. But he could not keep away from Piya, that when he overhears Piya and Misha's plan of exposing Danish in his bachelor's party, he chooses to attend it. Then the posessiveness of Abhay raised his hood, when he saw Piya dressed up like a belly dancer. He could not tolerate it. Infact, his possessiveness already started showing up when he overheard Kabir mentioning to someone that Piya agreed to be his girl friend, and next it made him to attend Panchi's engagement party, after T said that Kabir is also planning to propose Piya and also the curiousness to know what Piya was upto when she called him in the name of T asking him to attend the engagement party. He was caught in his own feelings towards Piya and Maithli. His heart wanted to be with her (probably he was convincing himself that he is their only to protect her and he had no other feelings for her). But at the same time, he felt so troubled to be attracted to Piya that he goes to Maitli's grave for solace. knowing Danish's intentions of harming Piya, he could not stop himself from going to the camp, though he was not allowed there and he could be in danger. The same convincing to himself that he is there only to protect and nothing else. But he already had some feelings for her which made him say all the rude things to her to keep her away from him and to keep him away from her. The struggle which he was going through was immense. One could not but feel sorry for him. Had he just come to protect her then there could be a lot of means and a more polished way of keeping away from her. But no, its nothing planned, but more of reaction. Piya on the other hand, could not try to avoid him though he insulted her and treated her like a crap, because she could not believe it. It was all like a nightmare which would end any time and his true feelings for her will surface. Kabir had let her down just to defend his brother whom he believed to be right. Even Piya knows that its not Kabir's fault completely that he did not trust her. But when he asked for her forgiveness, she could not treat him as anything but a friend. But Abhay, no matter how much he insults her, degrades her, her adamant heart refuses to believe this to be true. She was in love. Abhay had already become a part of the human world and so he did not hold back to find Tracker, He rescues her and seeing that Piya is also missing, he gets panicked and goes to the extent of fighting with his parents/werewolfes to save her. Its not just a feeling of care/protection, She was precious to him. Some one very dear to his life, some one without whom he feels incomplete. He did not hesitate to go to Pandher Palace to save her, the very place he wanted to avoid. Then it was not just her physical safety, it was even more that mattered to him, He could not see her pain of losing her mother's pendant, which every one asked her to forget about it. Even she would have gotten over it after a few days. But he did not even hesitate once, to go back to the palace which has haunting memories. He even overcomes the memories and gets the pendent. This could the first time, he conquered his past and started to move on. But all his supernatural abilities made Piya more curious to find out who he was. He did not want her to find his true identity partly because of the fact that she would not be spared by the Vampire clan, if they considered her dangerious to expose them to the world, but also the fear of losing her if she finds out his identity. He was struggling a lot to control his feelings for Piya and keeping on telling his mind, that he belonged only to Maithli. So when Piya appeared before him as Maithli, he just wanted to pour out all his agonies and free himself and desperately wanting to move away from all the current situations back to Maithli. He was badly hurt when he came to know that Piya was actually faking as Maithli and was playing with his feelings.. The monster in him woke up (not the vampire, but a hurt lover) and he wanted to punish Piya for this. But his anger subsides and he feels guility for hurting her and decides to leave the place for good. Though physically away from her, he could not distance from her and it was just like he was waiting for a signal to be with her, that he comes back to Dehradhun to protect her. He has by then realised, that she had become a part of him. He could not and will not afford to loose her what ever be the consequences he had to face for this. He even goes to the extent of revealing his identity to save her life knowing very well that she might leave him for ever after this. For Piya, it was a great shock to know that Abhay is not a human. It was such a shock that she could not believe how she could get involved in such things that she just wanted to flee from the place not even bothering about her future. This shock was just a momentary one, and her heart assures her that it does not matter what he is because he is her Abhay. Love knows no boundaries. They decide to stay away from each other, but could not keep away from each other when the other was in trouble. Abhay desparately wanted to know what secret she was hiding, thats troubling her most, He could not be at rest, when her uncle was about to reject the scholarship. He even controlled his vampire instincts to save her life. And Piya, though she knew Abhay could take care of himself, she would not let any chance to slip by where his identity would be revealed, be it the basket ball game with Kabir or the Fashion show. She was like an innocent child doing her best to keep his identity safe. It was just going on like this, that I am there for you and you are there for me. I have right over you, and you have the same over me, though we are not bound by any relation. She confronting him for attacking Shanaya, Later on she vouching his character that he could not have committed the murders. Thanks to our Siddharth, which really moved matters fast. Siddharth was dangerous to Piya, and he had no rules for his games. Abhay could not reveal Siddharth's identity, he could not expose Piya to risk, nor could he justify his actions for keeping Piya away from Siddhart. He even goes to the extent of biting her to save her from Siddharth. Now he could no longer keep himself away from her for the fear of she finding out her identity that she is in the process of becoming a vampire. He confesses his love openly to keep her near him. Though he convinces Chand that its just a fake relation to keep Piya from Siddharth, he could not prevent himself from expressing his love to her. It was nothing fake. It was real. He was enjoying the moments, treasuring them. For Piya, it was like her every wish of heart being answered. She could never want anything more but just to be with him. Piya's concern that Misha and Panchi may come to know her identity based on the CD which Misha was planning to show on her parents anniversary was extreme. She cries to Abhay, that she cannot afford to loose the friendship of Misha and Panchi . Abhay willing to go to any extent to make her feel comfortable steals the CD and gets caught. But when Piya sees that Abhay is exposed and being insulted, nothing mattered to her except Abhay, neither Misha nor her friendship. She was ready to break all her ties with every one to stand by him. And for Abhay, there was no life without Piya, so it did not matter to him if he existed or not without her and goes to the extent of risking his life to save her when she was hurt and was almost dying. Iniitally Piya was very happy about Abhay being possessive and feeling jealous when she was with Kabir. But she could not stand it when Abhay was asking her to keep away from Siddharth only because of his personal dislike. She now moved back to her family and she could not go against her family without any proper reason for staying away from Siddharth, nor could she keep away from her love. It was like she was upset over the things and trying her best to sort out things. Mostly she was taking on Abhay as she did not have any reason to suspect Siddharth, who was utmost polite and obliged to her every needs. When all the efforts of Siddharth to keep Abhay and Piya away from each other, failed, he played the dirty game of revealing to Piya that Abhay had bit her and she is turning to a Vampire. She is shocked and confronts Abhay who accepts the fact. It was more than the concern that she was turning into a vampire, she was very angry with Abhay for not telling her. Its more of her anger towards Abhay rather than fear of vampires as she flicks the reports of Chand and gives them to Haseena. She was in no wish of exposing them because she did not consider them as a threat. Her anger on Abhay doubled when she came to know that he has a brother and had not revealed it to her so far. So she was very wild with him for keeping away the truth from her. To her Abhay was not a dangerous blood sucking vampire but just a boyfriend, lover, who was keeping things out of her knowledge. It was just her anger that made her not to listen to him rather than not to trust him. She was not keeping away from him just because of the fear that he might harm her or her family, but to disobey him. And she was also confused about Siddharth. Abhay and Siddharth were both telling her that the other is trying to harm her and so she should keep away from either. Though her heart wanted to trust Abhay, she could not find any reason for suspecting Sidhdharth, as she never believed that he was a Vampire and he was the brother of Abhay. One of them had to be true. There was a tussle between her mind and her heart. Somewhere deep in her heart she knew Abhay was right and Siddharth might harm her, though she never consciously felt it She also badly wanted to know Abhay's true past, his brother, the actual story.. So when she finally met Maithli and Siddharths identity was revealed, she was not actually shocked the way she should be on knowing Sidhdharth's identity, because somewhere in her heart, she was prepared for something like this. She could not hear one word against Abhay and started defending his love for Maithli. She did not fear her life. And Abhay wanted to save her at any cost , of killing his brother, or losing his life or going against his parents. The way he hold Haseena that Piya is more important to him than her or any one else, as she is his life, and there is no life without her. After all these revelations, all anger vanished, Piya did not even remember that Abhay bit her. All she wanted was to make him aware of the happenings and caution him. The return of Maithli hardly made any impact on Abhay, as she was not his Maithli whom he loved more than his life. He could not tolerate the fact that Maithli would harm Piya. And Piya was ready to give her life for Abhay. Though he was able to kill Siddharth, he could not kill Maithli. When Maithli cursed him to an endless sleep, he just begged for a glimpse of Piya. He wanted her to forget everything that happened so that she would not be tormented of his loss. At that moment , it was not protection, care, anger, keeping away or anything but just pure love between them. They got separated fully acknowledging the fact that they could not live without each other because they loved each other a lot.

Post leap, it was a new Piya. The Piya Jaiswal who was under the protected and disciplined walls in her orphanage, suddenly became vulnerable to the outside world, when she had everyone or no one. She had experienced the best and bitter part of life. But this experience has been erased from her memory. The Piya Dobrial now just moved from one protective shell to another one, the other one being her family, and she being pampered a lot. Pre leap , she learnt from her experience to react to the situation. But post leap, she just lived the way life is defined for a spoilt rich kid. When she was told that she was in a relation ship with Kabir which never materialised, she was not affected by any means or past memories. When she met Jeh, she was the rich kid who would go to any extent to have her way. But somewhere down in her heart, she knew it was not her true self and there is something more to it. Something more meaningful to her life. She finds Abhay buried in the ice, she could hear him talking to her. When she comes to know that he is in danger and might leave her for ever, she just does not think , and does blindly what her heart says to save the someone whom she does not even know or believe to be in existence. She redeems him from the curse. But Abhay prefers to stay away from her as she does not remember anything and feels that it is good if she moved on in her life. On seeing Jeh, he is much more convinced that she would be happy with him. He sets aside all his feelings for her and is willing to endure the agony of her separation, but could not bring her back to his life because he still feels that he is a dreadful, dangerous vampire. Little did he know that the vampire in him had taken a back step long back and the human in him has been restored. He could not keep calm when his father was hurt and was almost dying, and he wanted to console and comfort his mother that he would set things right. This is the same father and mother, whom he never acknowledged and said that they were just staying together and he does not have to listen to them. He really turns wild, desperate to save his father not even caring a bit what people saw or what he actually did. Chand, a very practical person who always advised that they should not be bound by emotions, could not stop being emotional that Abhay saved him risking everything. Haseena on the other hand, was ready to go to any extent to unite Piya with Abhay. Love can do wonders.

Unlike meeting Kabir after post leap, Piya had very strong feelings for Abhay. That he was the missing link to her past life, which was not ordinary as she had been told. He was her life. No matter how rude, he behaved, its not the words from his mouth, but from his heart that she yearned to listen to and never missed an opportunity to make his heart talk. The day she comes to know the truth, she would hardly remember the rude words which Abhay said and it would only be his love which matters everything to her. So she will be continuously on quest till she gets the truth, consciously or subconsciously.

We will have to wait and watch how the CVs take this love story ahead.

This is not a love story from the start. but a love story which gradually developed

Abhay's feeling for Piya - Hatred, Indifference, Acceptance,Protective, Possessive, Agitated for moving on from Maithli, Fear of losing Piya, Fear of harming Piya, Fear of Siddharth harming Piya, to acknowledging his love for Piya. He had gradually fallen in love with her but acknowledged it much much later when he could not find any reasons wanting to be with Piya.

Piya's feeling for Abhay - Grateful for saving her life, Curious,Disappointed, Disgusted, delighted, desperate to be with him, Shocked on knowing his identity, Acceptance, Confused at his inconsistent behaviour, elated when he confesses his love, Angered when he hides things from her,Ready to give her life, Adamantly acknowleging his presence in her life,Adamantly disbelieving that he has moved on and he no longer cares for her.

Its a gradual change in their feelings, but there is definetely a change and more explicitly in Abhay, that he subconsciously started living as a Human. A change in Danish, Panchi, Misha, Arnav, Kabir, Ruhi, Angad ( they either hate Abhay or adore him but cannot ignore him). T - I am not sure if she changed or is she the same.

It is not a dark love story, but a beautiful love story as someone rightly said its an epic. A sincere love story between Abhay and Piya very well portrayed by Vivian and Sukirthi.

There are no intentional feelings either of Abhay hurting Piya or Piya not trusting Abhay.

They are impulses based on the situations they face. Both Abhay and Piya are vulnerable.

Abhay should realise that truth is better than sacrifice.

He should accept Piya's love and turn their lives beautiful for as long as they can instead of being away from each other and suffering their lives

"No one knows what plans destiny has for us. But let us live this moment with love and joy.Let us not deny the love and joy at this moment that the future may turn to be something different.. Live this moment."
