Piya Jaiswal : My heart is sinking.
" I should be happy for my sister if Abhay loves her . I mean, she is so perfect and wonderful , that its really no wonder that Abhay fell in love with her. But then, why is my heart sinking at the thought that Abhay has found someone else and doesn't love me anymore? Why am I not happy for my own flesh and blood if she has found happiness ? Why am I thinking about Abhay when I know the truth now. I must let him go, shouldn't I? Stop thinking about Abhay, Piya. You have lost him, okay? "
Confused , her heart shrunk , her babyface constricted in pain that was screaming to break out , Piya fails to understand that just why can't she let Abhay go ? Why can't she accept the fact that Abhay has moved on to someone else? Piya's mind has forgotten Abhay's love and his memories but her heart is still standing where Abhay left her that snowy evening.
So, no matter how many lies , how much drama you pile on Piya in order to 'protect' her , her heart refuses to buy anything and insists on clinging onto Abhay's neck like a cantankerous and stubborn baby. Abhay's Piya refuses to come back to Piya and that is the reason Piya knows no peace , no stillness and no normalcy. How will she? Her heart is walking outside her body in the name of Abhay Raichand and giving her cold stares. Its almost like Piya's heart is hiding behind Abhay and telling Piya 'Find me and find your way back home'.
Why else do you think Piya slapped Misha so hard? Piya didn't slap Misha because Misha refused to tell her the truth of her and Abhay's little game. Piya slapped Misha because Misha threw the truth in Piya's face. Because Misha rubbed salt into her wounds by saying that Piya's problem is not Misha and Abhay's dirty little secret. Piya's problem is that she cannot deal with the fact that Abhay is not interested in her anymore. Piya's problem is that she cannot see Abhay with anyone else. Piya's problem is that she cannot accept the reality that Abhay doesn't love her anymore and it kills her. No wonder that slap came flying down on Misha's cheek. Misha ripped Abhay's Piya open and she bled.
And that is the truth , right? Piya picks fights with Abhay , accuses him, abuses him, curses him, confronts him not because she hates him.. She behaves irrational and childish because she is angry inside that Abhay is no longer with her. She screams at him because she can't catch hold of his collar and bellow that how dare he stopped loving her. She finds excuses and reasons to hurt him because that is the only way he will look at her and talk to her.
The slap that she gave to Misha is the slap that she actually wants to give Abhay.
No, Piya. You cannot be happy for Pancchi or Misha or any woman who stands next to Abhay. From the time you have seen Abhay , you've always seen yourself next to him and there is no way you can be happy at the sight of anyone else taking that spot.
Abhay is Piya's soulmate and even Abhay cannot change what fate has written. Then, how can Piya's heart stop beating for Abhay? Its endearing in a way. Piya has no memory of Abhay and her love story except a few flashes and stories of their epic love . Yet, she falls in love with him all over again everytime she sees him. And since she doesn't know how to comprehend this feeling , it bursts out in fights and anger with Abhay.
Oh , there will be no diary entry of Abhay today as there was not much to his mind today except khoon kharaaba and 1tonne attitude that he threw on Dips. I feel Alina Khurana is on her way. Just saying.
P.S – In the last scene , I actually wanted to bang the heads of Misha and Pancchi together. Slap Misha ( though she did get one from Piya ) and send Pancchi to Rehab. Pancchi turned out to be a mean little opportunist who is not saving Piya but taking advantage of Abhay-Piya's dilemma so that she can save her own neck. I can't believe she is the same sensible , mature , sensitive and soft Pancchi from season 1. Her whole thought process of using Abhay and Piya's situation to save herself from Neil kind of makes you feel sick in the stomach.
