Well, honestly speaking. i am not found of the track the promo suggested at all. JiYa i know eventually will lead to Piya going back to Abhay. so i have not much worries there and no blaming there to do as she was taken away the memories withour her wish. the other track doesnt make sense and there are so many other paths to choose. so yea even i will give it a break a while till i see its back on track proparly.

So you are right, they used AP to promote the show, but never actually gave enough portions of them on the show, let be romance.
