Siddhant Karnick who is currently seen playing the evil Siddharth in Balaji's Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani may bag Balaji's next on Colors.

As reported earlier, the show is based on two middle class Maharashtrian families; the Sawant's and the Damle's.

A source says, "Siddhant has been finalized to play the lead on the show and Priyamvada Sawant of Meri Doli Tere Angana fame is being considered to play the female lead. But, Gaurav Bajpai who was earlier roped in to play the youngest son of the family will no longer be a part of the show. However the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized. If all goes well then we should start shooting in the next 10 days.

"Both the leads will play lawyers on the show and they will eventually fall in love and get married."

However Siddhant (Karnick) says, "I did audition for the show but nothing is finalized yet. It's just Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani for now and I am concentrating on it."

The show is likely to go on air post IPL.

This is the girl opposite Siddhant Karnick in this new show .

if he does the show...then no more sid...i hope he doesn't do the show because PKYEK is nothing without sid...

he doesnt have to leave! if he does get that show...i hope its worth it...plus he can always do two shows alongside! i love him!!

well it happened with sushant...he was doing KDMHMD...he was playing preet juneja..younger brother of prem juneja...he has parallel track along with main track...but once he got pavitra rishta...sushant has to leave kdmhmd...because he plays the main lead in pavitra rishta...

if you are telling abt ronit who did kzk and ksbkbt in the same time...i would like to tell ksbkbt...he is the main lead of the show...as for kzk...he is the parallel lead of the show...cezzane was the main lead of the show...

there is eijaz too...who did kavyanjali and kya hoga nimmo ka...ekta killed kavya character for kya hoga nimmo ka...since he plays the main lead there too...after kavya's death...they make iqbal to play the lead...but eijaz-anita pairing was so popular...due to public demand...eijaz was back in the show as soham...and it happened at that time when kya hoga nimmo ka is about to end...he is the main lead of both shows...

so thats why all my fear...playing main leads is very difficult to maintain another show...

are u fan of ekta show ...so many actor of the serial u know ..good maze

But i think sid will be in PKYEK ...till his character is there . Public always demanded ...so ekta will not make mistake of replacement for her own show ...

yup i watch most of her shows...its all the same crap but then the way she creates amazing couples...romance...passion just makes glue to her shows...no other shows could create so much magic on a on-screen couple...she set a trend yaar...such legandary jodis are
