I think both of them are wrong. š Yeh hui na: Na ghar ka na ghat ka..lekin listen.
Abhay is wrong because see, you cannot continuously hide things from someone and expect them not to get angry. In the film 'Raja' Madhuri Dixit annoyed Tiku Talsania by telling him 'I want to tell you something...but no let it be' repeatedly till finally the poor fellow lost it asking her what she wanted to say. š Even I in real life get annoyed when my friends are hiding something from me. And this is just the example of a random stranger or a friend, and that also someone you want to make fun of. Pia is the girl Abhay loves for goodness sake. Okay fine, so maybe it's not possible to expect your boyfriend to tell you everything-but when it concerns YOU, you have every right to know. (Aka the I-bit-you thingy š) Reminds me of the song 'Mujhe Haq Hai' from Vivah. Though it was used in a different context in that film, I think the song's title perfectly expresses Pia's feelings right now. She has a right over her own life. True, Abhay has saved it quite a lot of times š but at the end of the day she is the one who is living it.
But at the same time Pia also wrong because she couldn't lie to Abhay. Honesty requires telling the truth no matter how bitter it is-and 50 percent of the time, the truth is very very kadva. š A very important thing in a relationship is trust and though Pia was justified in saying that Abhay would have got angry, at the same time, he wouldn't have got as angry as he is NOW. š
So both of them are still innocent children when it comes to love. Solusion will be that Pia tells Abhay the right she has over him and her own life, and Abhay tells Pia that he doesn't want to control her, he just wants her to be careful. š Also he can simply tell pia it's a secret that he will tell her when he's ready-right now he needs her trust more than anything.
P.S. I find the fact that Abhay knows when Pia is lying pretty hot .It was kind of predictable she was going with Siddharth but still! š³ š
