DOTW: The Past and Its Impact

We've already seen how the past has its impact in the present with Abhay and Maithili.

But what about Pia?

Arnab's mistake(s) in the past are obviously playing havoc with her life now.

Due to what her father did, Pia risks losing her friends and gaining a reputation as the 'illegitimate child' of one of the town's richest families.

According to a recent TellyChakkar article, Misha will soon come to know about Arnab and Sugandh, and will not only feel disgusted with her father but might also start harbouring negativity for Pia.

So the first question(inspired by a thread started by Aparijita)

Will Pia ever forgive her father for what he did with her mother? Would YOU have forgiven him?

Secondly,

Did Pia do the right thing by not telling anyone that she is Arnab's daughter, and therefore technically not an orphan?

Thirdly,

If Misha starts ill-treating Pia due to revelation of the truth, will she be justified in her behaviour?

Think before answering. 😉 I hope you guys have fun discussing! 😊 Any further questions that arise will be added, and your name put in. 😃

P.S. Sorry for being late with the DOTW. 😳

I think pia would. But if i was in her place i might not have . bcos i think i am not a big hearted person like pia . 😃

Secondly,

Did Pia do the right thing by not telling anyone that she is Arnab's daughter, and therefore technically not an orphan?
YES ! its what our intentions that matters to godnot what we pretend.

Thirdly,

If Misha starts ill-treating Pia due to revelation of the truth, will she be justified in her behaviour?
again yes. when a sudden crisis comes to us . we react without evn thinking . again the same proverb stands. its our intentions tht matter and misha wud nvr intentionaly hate/ hurt pia ...but its the daughter of arnab who is pain thts doing the negative plots.

Indigo, it'd be a waste to answer your questions so late. Sorry, but hey I will, regardless.

Pia has already accepted her father. I dun quite understand how and why, but she has. After the debacle that happened previously with her, it was strange she ran into her father's arms so quick. But then if we come to think of it, she's been deprived of his love for a really very long time. Hence, she sees a bright chance of reuniting with him, it does not really make sense to her mind but her conscience thing must have always known that her father's love, she still craves.

I wouldn't have forgiven my father. I am not forgiving, I and my father have had issues in the past, not similar to this but we have and I know I love him and that's why he has me the same way, I haven't forgiven him. The memory is too fresh and crisp on my surface, I wouldn't do the forgiving thing. Maybe, that's how Pia functions too. She's been pained, she loves her father and that's why she has accepted him at last, it does not mean she had forgiven him for the mess he'd made out of her mother's life.

And Misha, I still like. She is exposed to the real world now, you see. Things she had never expected have become her reality, she's a mere teenager who's very aggressive - so if she ill-treats Pia, which she is already doing - I wouldn't be surprised. Now is the time, Misha gets to evolve, understand facts better - such hard truths are like chemotherapies, they make you worse at first, but your bad condition only signifies that you're healing.

Cool questions, discuss now. 😛

To answer your first question, I believe Pia's already forgiven her father, seeing today's episode and even if she hadn't, I'm sure she would've eventually. I, frankly, don't even want to IMAGINE myself in that situation, it's that pathetic. I'm clueless as to what I would've done.

For your second, YES, she was absolutely correct in not telling people about her real identity. She had her own reasons as well but she had the right ones too.

As far as Misha goes, she's already started mistreating Pia and is acting horribly mean to her and YES, she is justified. I mean, come on, like Pia was telling Abhay, Misha's hero just got killed. She's feeling betrayed, she HAS been betrayed, technically, by the two people whom her world revolved around so her unreasonableness is justified. One thing which pinches me, though, is that she really doesn't regret the fact that she almost killed Pia. I mean, I couldn't do that to my most loathed enemy without feeling super guilty. Other than that, I don't have the heart to blame Misha. She is suffering a lot and her grey side is just an attempt to mask her broken heart.

Nice DOTW =)
