....Piya kissed her life. That is what Abhay is for her - her life. An undead, blood-feeding centuries old monster is the life of a starry eyed teenage girl. The stuff epics are made of - in literature , in soaps , in motion pictures.
Piya is shining in love , true. But she misses what TraAngad have. She misses this pampering , this light cuteness , this lollipop sweetness. She wants to hug Abhay in front of everyone. She wants to hold his hand , walk with him arm-in-arm , smile brightly at the world and say - This is why I am the luckiest girl in the world. Abhay is mine. Fortunately or unfortunately, Abhay can give her the warmth of the sun but he cannot give her sunshine. He can make her feel like the most special girl in the world but he can never showcase it to the world. He can give her everything - everything as in EVERYTHING but not a normal life. Their love is deeper than the oceans but it cannot be ever explained to the world or the other world.
And Abhay? Life just refuses to get easier for him. Oh well, it has never been easy for him. He is your Byronic hero who gets to be everything - but never happy. He loved Maithli. Life betrayed him. He loves Piya and all the evil forces and even the good forces are threatening him. The divide of life and death still stands between him and Piya. Lectures for his own good, threats for the clan's good , evil plans courtesy Sid - everything tries to remind him like an echo that he is a supernatural being with no right to feel. For him, it doesn't matter how much he loves Piya , he is too weighed under his self-loathing of being a monster , under the burden of what he has been through , under the load of his duties and moral responsibilities towards the vampire clan. Abhay is , as we have said time and again, the synonym of suffering.
But sometimes, when Abhay reacts with possessive jealousy towards Piya , its a good sight. At least , somewhere , he is a normal guy next door. Misha sure sparked the green -eyed monster in Abhay today and poor Piya will have to bear the brunt. Lol. Misha is a darling , all said and done. And am glad she handled Shaw well. .
P.S- Piya kissing Abhay in the precap is so out-of-character for a shy, soft and meek girl like her. But i guess that is the power and passion of her feelings for Abhay. She loves him and if the world wants to see it , let them. I loved the look on Piya's face. That is what love looks like. And I loved the smile on Abhay's face. That is what Piya's life looks like.
