This is Yoshita here. A silent reader on this forum. I couldn't help but write an Abhiya OS. 😳
Well, just wanted to tell you that it is more of a Three-Shot rather than One-shot. 😆
Please bare with it. 😊
Here it goes . . .

~I Have Loved You Forever~
~Abhiya OS~

Piya had only one more assignment to go, but her mind kept wandering. She was thinking about him again. The charming, blue-eyed boy who had appeared in the swirling leaves outside her classroom window weeks ago. The one who winked at her in her daydreams.
Was it just a dream? She wondered for the gazillionth time. She felt as though she had seen him somewhere before. But where?
She finished up her last assignment and snapped her book shut. Quickly stuffing her notebook into her bagpack, she zipped her bag shut.
Phew! She though. Glad I'm done with that. Homework can be such a big drag.
"I finished my assignments!", she shouted to her mother who was in a different room of their posh apartment. "May I please go out now?"
"After you've cleaned up your room," her mother answered from the living room.
So, I guess that means I can go out, Piya said. She smiled to herself, a relieved and sneaky smirk. She looked around the pigsty she called her room, noting the papers, pens, stuffed animals, sweaters and shoes strewn everywhere. Piya snapped her fingers and waited.
Then, before her eyes, her room began to transform itself magically. She stood and watched as a gentle breeze sailed through her room, swooping up her bow-tied teddy bear and her fuzzy green bunny from the floor and placing them gently on her pillow. Her desk drawer drew open to welcome the pens, pencils, and erasers that were coming in for a landing. Her sheets were neatly tucked into the corners, her pillows fluffed, books returned to the shelf and sweaters and shirts neatly folded and placed in the closet. Her boots and slippers landed in a perfect row by the door.
Piya grinned, loving her powers. She could control the earth and clean up her room with a swift movement of her hand. As things flew back into place, something caught her eye. Right beneath her bed, the corner of a turquoise coloured book was sticking out. It was her old journal!
She hurried over and picked it up. Pieces of paper stuck out haphazardly. "My diary from last year", she whispered. "With all my old memories."
She flipped through the pages and suddenly, her eyes grew wide as she began to read the page in front of her. That handwriting. That flowery signature.
"Misha!," Piya gasped.
Back then things were so different, she thought, remembering the previous summer. That was before she and Panchi had become magical Guardians of their world. Before Misha had run off to the Dark World. Before Misha had turned against them and joined the enemy.
Piya still found the situation very painful and hard to comprehend. How could her friend Misha have become so cruel, and such a real threat to the Guardians?
Other worlds, special powers, enemies, Misha. . . yes, a lot had definitely change since the last summer, Piya thought with a sigh.
Leaning back against her blue-riffled pillow, Piya crossed her legs and flipped through the pages of her diary. The various entries jogged so many memories. One page in particular sent her back to a specific moment. It stuck out clearly in her mind.
She closed her eyes, and the memory came back to her.
"Is it true Piya?", Misha asked. "Did you really turn down a date with Kabir?"
"Yes," Pia replied quickly as she started walking ahead. "And you know why, Misha.". Piya looked down at her feet, a serious look on her face..
"Because of the boy in your dreams?" Misha asked compassionately.
Piya came back to reality. The memory was fading. She sat on her bed with the diary lying open on her lap. "What happened to us-to Misha?" she asked out loud, her voice filled with hurt and confusion. "Why have we become enemies?"
Piya looked back down and continued reading the passage in it. Her thoughts once again drifted back to that day. . .
It was a dazzling, sunny afternoon, and people were sprawled out along the grassy hills surrounding the park. On the way, they continued the conversation about Piya's dream boy.
"He's more than just a dream," Piya explained to Misha, her voice taking on a more serious note.
Misha smiled and giggled softly. "I know, Piya. You have told me so much about him that I feel like I've already met him. But while you're looking for your imaginary prince, you could still hang out with Kabir. He's a really great guy."
"No", Piya said unequivocally. "I have room for only one great love. And I don't want anyone but him." She held her head high and smiled.
"You really are hopeless," Misha teased. She reached into one of her trouser pockets and rustled around. "Oh, I have a gift for you," she said.
The two friends stopped walking. Piya looked at Misha, feeling both excited and confused.
Misha pulled a white envelope out of her pocket and handed it to Piya. Piya carefully opened the envelope. She pulled out a piece of paper and slowly unfolded a sketch that Misha had made. She couldn't believe what she saw on the page.
It was a drawing of the boy from her dreams. Everything had been captured perfectly ' from his handsome face to his dark, disheveled hair to his hypnotic blue eyes and sweet lips. Even his long coat ' it was all there.
"Piya, does it look like him?" Misha asked hopefully.
"It's him!" Piya cried, her face becoming as bright as a star. "Exactly like in my dreams!" She hugged the drawing to her chest and tried to contain her big, bright smile. Then she leaned over and hugged Misha. "Thank You," she said. She couldn't have asked for a better gift ' or a better friend.
Piya looked down at the sketch again, admiring the drawing. Then she spotted something written at the bottom of the page.
One day you'll meet him, it said.
"It will come true someday," Misha assured her. "You'll see."
That was then, this is now, Piya thought adamantly, crashing back to reality once again. She looked around her room sadly and closed the diary.
"I really wanted it to come true, Mish," she whispered quietly.
It was no longer that summer day. She and Misha were no longer friends. Nothing was the same.
That was the moment, when Piya decided that she would go talk to Panchi. She had to do it. Even though she knew Panchi wouldn't agree, she had no other option but to convince her. She would need somebody's help, since Piya alone would not be able to accomplish her plan.
As Piya picked up her blue coat and wrapped it around herself, she braced herself for her talk with Panchi. She had to make her understand. There was no other choice.
