One and the Same
Today I saved her from disaster
Knowing that there will be troubles after
I warned her not to stay alone, she heeded to my alarms
If I had it in me I would keep her in my arms
She cried because she had lost something
Which was very precious to her tender heart
I could not see tears on those angelic cheeks
My heart felt pain for ages for a start
Her pain is mine, her happiness my smile
For her I ran, not caring about the miles
I went back to those memories I had long since forgotten
And remembered a girl similarly besotten
Who loved me to a point beyond measure
Who was my life and my immense pleasure
A girl who would forever be linked with my name
For in essence and in my heart, she and Pia
Will eternally be one and the same....
Criticism will be appreciated..but I don't mind praise...😉 😆
