Welcome PKYEKians to the Discussion Of The Week.

Basically , this time it was chance of Riya but as she is busy this week I am posting DOTW this week.
I think most of you all know me.I am Mahi true KaPian and adore Abhay too.

According to you how is the real Abhay?

As for now Abhay is a strong and harsh personality who has neither any interest in communicating with others nor he appears as in normal.But according to me he is a heart-broken soul who is suffering because of his miserable past and eagerly wants to communicate with people but cannot therefore because of this terrible past.
The fact revealed about his past girl friend Maithlee is a symbolic to the viewers that once upon a time he was romantic and carefree person who loved life to the fullest while smiling was not a hard task for him.Years passed , time changed,people changed and most importantly Abhay changed.

When he was introduced in the beginning days the viewers found him as arrogant,harsh , and spoilt brat, I was also a victim of such thinking as his character was illustrated in a way which actually effected the viewers state of opinion but like wise when the show developed his character started to explore day by day where now finally a moment has come where we have a full-fledged idea that Abhay was not as he was before.
To me the Abhay of today's time seems a heart-broken soul whose dreams has been shattered and this is the reason why he doesn't smiles or communicates with others because according to him he being a loner is perfect and apt for the situation and thats why he is so harsh with piya..Where as to me the old Abhay was a happy go lucky guy who just knew how to smile and shower his love and blessing upon others and lived a happy life with his girlfriend..and somehow I have a feeling after he falls for Piya he is gonna turn like he was before..

Anyways coming to the topic..what are your views?According to your state of opinion how you predict Abhay in the past?

I have never judged Abhay as a rude ignorant guy because i am so used to watching Ekta shows i know that there is always a reason behind it and the proof is in the pudding. We've seen him struggle to keep Pia at bay but failing miserably. To me Abhay is still trying to get over a love that never died for Maithali but Pia is making headway for his broken heart. She is the missing piece of the jigsaw to his life and soul. He can't bear the thought of replacing Maithali EVER. At the same time he can't help LOVE Pia. He's lost a huge part of his personality that died with Maithali but only Pia can revive him back to his former self.

Abhay used to be a passionate guy who believed in love and loving. He was deeply in love with a girl called Maithali and circumstances seperated them. His heart was broken and shattered in pieces. And he thought of himself as the reason of Maithali's death/hurt/pain. So he build this wall around himself. He built a image of a ruthless, selfish, uncaring person to save others, and himself - from himself. And Pia's the only person who can see through the wall , who can see the caring Abhay, his saviour angel who has saved him from time to time. And Pia's likeness for him only makes him desperately want him to make her hate him. And he does all these ruthless acts, and in the long run, he thinks he's helping Pia. 😊

He's not cold. He's not bitter. He's not stone. He's just a man with molten walls around himself which can only be broken by Pia.

i agree wid u..personally i have seen d original version..

so abhay in d past wud be like any oder boy in jis teens..easily swayed by love..carefree...loved maithili..n im guessing dat she betrayed him..

hes nt cold and arrogant..hes just bitter at d turn of events dat made him d person he is..as nw he cant emote himself easily...simply bcz hes shattered and miserable still

i also do think in the past abhay was a great fun-loving guy, but then something that has happened in the past,............. and does not want to commit the same mistake over and obver again....... thats why i think right now he is harsh, and wants to be alone

As far as my thinking goes, I believe that Abhay was one normal, fun loving and out going, deep in love guy in the past.

His behaviour might have changed due to the loss of his lover, who was a look alike of Piya. He doesn't hate Piya, but tries to control his feelings when he sees Piya coz he cannot believe the same face in front of him, and yet he cannot reach her...It's like so close yet far away from him.
