The party was over and everyone was leaving. Kabir , Angad and Tracker were so drunk that they could barely stand on their feet properly. Their parents were seen taking them away and the three of them were talking utter rubbish. Pancchi, Arnab and Madhu were seeing off the guests alongwith Danish , who in turn was casting deadly looks in Piya's direction. But Piya was totally unaware of Danish's poisonous glares as her eyes are on Abhay who looks very disturbed and has Anushka whispering comforting words into his ears even as T eats up brains of Chaand and Haseena. Sam is with Misha and his eyes are also on Abhay as he tries his best to pay attention to Misha's blabbering.

T ( hanging to Abhay's arms )- Oh Chaand Uncle, you must must come to my house for dinner next week. Dad will be so happy to have you all at home.

Chaand ( sipping his wine)- But we don't go to dinners, dear Tanushree. This party is a social obligation , you see otherwise…

T (insisting)- Please don't say no, Uncle.. Abhay darling. Please bring your parents and your sister to my house for dinner the next Friday.

Abhay ( still caught in Maithli's apparition that he saw outside the study)- Yes…

Haseena and Chaand are shocked at his absent-minded answer and glare at him while Anushka presses his hand to bring him back to his senses…

Abhay ( struck )- What happened?

Anushka ( rubbing his back affectionately )- Nothing, big brother! We just got invited to T's house for dinner and you said yes!

Abhay looks at Anushka in surprise and she nods looking into his eyes. Abhay reads what she is saying and he nods.

T ( happily )- GREAT!

Sambhav looks at Abhay and he has his own issues running in his head as Misha discusses the last hockey match that she and her team won for Dehradun.

Misha ( chattering away)- And we are going to play state level next! Isn't that great? I can't wait to get out of these hideous curtains that am wearing and get back to practice…(notices the stress on Sambhav's face )… Sam? What's wrong , dude?

Sambhav looks at Abhay-Piya and then thinks as he turns his mischievous grey eyes towards a curious Misha.

Sambhav ( to himself )- Hmmmm.. I have to get Abhay's mind off Maithli! That freaking witch showed up here …..and to disorient Abhay , I have to use Piya…sorry, chica!... ( clears his throat and looks at Misha dramatically )… Errm.. don't mind my saying this, Misha and please don't think that am butting into your friend's circle … but Piya is Kabir's girlfriend, right?

Misha's bright smile becomes confused as she looks at Piya who is looking at Abhay and then, at Kabir who is being taken home by his parents. She looks at Sam seriously.

Misha ( fearing the worst )- Yeah, she is. They have been sating for a month or so.. but why are we talking about Piya and Kabir?

Sam holds Misha by her shoulders and fixes his serious grey eyes on her lovely face and Misha looks struck.

Sambhav – Do you trust me?

Misha ( looking into his eyes )- Yes, I do.

Sambhav (softly )- In that case, I have something really important to tell you.. a dark secret . I don't want Kabir's life to get ruined.

Misha ( anxiously )- Abhay and Piya! Right? It is about them , Sam. Right? What did they do?

Sambhav ( sadly )- I hate to be the one to tell you this, Misha but… well.. ( looks at Abhay and Piya )… just before the engagement party … I saw them outside. And … oh, I hate to do this… well, I saw them kiss! Piya seems to have lost her senses . I am afraid to say , Misha, but your bestie maybe Kabir's girlfriend , but her heart beats for Abhay!

Misha is so shocked to hear this that she almost trips on her own feet but Sambhav holds her by her waist and her shoulder.

Misha ( baffled )- Abhay kissed Piya?... Piya? …..No! What about Kabir, then! This girl has lost it and I have got to fix her!

Sambhav ( pretending to stop her )- Misha… Misha… ( Misha goes charging towards where Piya is standing and Sam whistles and smiles )… aha, catfight! Abhay , my man, women have fought over you over a 100 years and some things just never change…. I should go home now… ( looks back at the study )… showtime, baby!

Sambhav signals Jack and his three men and like a good looking army , they exit from the party.

Misha goes to Piya and grabbing her hand takes her up to her own room. Abhay notices this and he is about to take a step forward when Anushka firmly grips his hand. She shakes her head at him as she sees Piya being almost dragged away by Misha and a surprised Piya protesting mildly.

Piya ( irritated )- Misha! Are you high on Vodka or what? What are you doing? Why are you behaving like this?

Misha brings her into the room and shuts the door, turning to confront her.

Misha (bellows )- You tell me! Why are you behaving like this?

Piya ( puzzled )- Misha, will you just cut the suspense and tell me what is wrong!

Misha ( angrily )- FINE! We get to the point, woman! Were you outside with Abhay before the engagement?

Piya ( taken aback but stays composed )- Y-Yes… we had something important to discuss.

Misha( putting her hands on her hips )- Important to discuss? With Abhay? On a winter night in the garden ?

Piya ( looks away )- I cannot tell you what it was about, Misha.

Misha- I will tell what it was about, Piya! It was about you and Abhay! He kissed you out there and Sambhav saw it!

Piya is stunned to hear the last part and her eyes go wide in shock.

Piya ( shocked )- Abhay did what?

Misha ( shaking her shoulders )- Don't milk feed me, babe! Abhay kissed you and Sambhav told me that… now, say that it didn't happen! SAY IT!

Piya is about to open her mouth when she remembers Abhay scolding her for being without a plan in Danish's matter , getting angry over the lock , pinning her to a tree and then…. BLANK…. She only remembers standing at the entry of the party.

Misha – Piya?

Piya ( looks at Misha )- Who said Abhay kissed me?

Misha – Sambhav!

Hearing this , Piya turns on her heels and runs out of the room, leaving a stunned Misha behind…….

Piya ( her mind reeling)- Abhay kissed me and I am blank?????????????????????
