You are absolutely right, as usual! The scene was so much more intense than it seems to just a normal viewer. If you really look, you can see the emotions that are strongly portrayed by both of our darlings. Abhay is scared of Piya, and the confusion and complexity of the situation showed in his face. He isn't afraid of anything, yet he's afraid of Maithili's copy. Why can't he be around Piya without any feelings, he doesn't know. Just because she looks like Maithili....he knows that she is not Maithili, but everytime he just looks at Piya, he gets carried away and can't stop himself. That's the reason that he is scared, and why he doesn't like to be around her. But to answer Piya's questions, "Why do we behave like this - strangers don't do this" - well, you look like the love of his love, who for some reason, got separated from him. And he is reminded of her everytime - so he feels confused and angry at himself everytime he is around you, Piya. He is afraid of you, because of the power you unknowingly hold over him. And Piya - her confusion was also clear in this scene. She was frustrated with herself, and though she was asking Abhay why they behaved like this, she was reprimanding herself, as well. She knows she can ignore everyone, even T who is the epitome of arrogance. But she can never ignore Abhay and his cryptic responses. Why? She doesn't know and really wants to. The part where he made her leave was like that too. He didn't move at all - just demanded her to leave. He was saying it for her welfare - that was obvious. You could tell the way he said it that he didn't want anything to happen to her if he accidently lost control, so he made her leave. And she also was concerned about him. They were just arguing over why they're so mean to each other and then she gets her. But even after she got hurt, she immediately wondered what happened to Abhay, and if he is alright. That shows that the facade that she puts of hating Abhay is not all real. Some of it may be, but mostly it is just fake, to cover up her confusion and attraction, though she will not admit it.
That scene was just tooooo good. The emotions that came out inspite of their efforts was just brilliant. Vivi and Suku were amazing.
Great post!!!
