Abhay Raichand is a vampire and in a scene that is a reflection of Stefan-Elena scene in season 1 , he proved it. In VD, Elena and Stefan were all alone in what I remember was a cemetery. Elena hurt herself and she was examining her wound. The sight of blood provoked the monster inside Stefan – his fangs began to show and his pupils and vitrous humour went black. Stefan , knowing that he will end up biting Elena just disappeared. ……Abhay did the same thing even though the scene was creatively different. Abhay hurt Piya and the sight of blood began to evoke the monster in him. Abhay could have bitten her but he scared the poor girl out of wits into running away. Abhay suppressed the monster inside him. For Piya.

But today , the question is not about Abhay and his personality . It is about Piya Jaiswal. Piya Jaiswal who claims to hate Abhay and has permanently labeled him 'Arrogant Rude Jerk'. Pancchi , can well be termed the director of AP's love-hate story. She sent both the warriors to talk out their differences. But talk about? Abhay didn't want to talk – we are strangers , so what is this peace summit about? But Piya wanted to talk… talk badly enough to have the guts to hold Abhay's arm and stop him. Force him to talk to her. Abhay could have gone off without giving a damn but he stayed. He stayed to face the truth that he does not want to face. Piya wanted answers – Are we strangers , really? Are you sure there is nothing between us? Strangers don't behave like this. Everything you say hurts me and that is not what happens between strangers. It's you who is scared of coming close to me. My proximity affects you ( I still can't believe she said that ). Piya was telling nothing but the truth and that hit Abhay – got him angry – anger – his only defense against his own heart. He roughed her up and told her that he is not scared of her and she is just day dreaming. And he pushed her….

It is strange that even when Piya got hurt and her hand bled, her attention was more on what was happening with Abhay. She didn't accuse , she didn't abuse. She just did what Abhay told her to do… RUN AWAY.

The scene is symbolic in many ways. Abhay affects Piya very much – affects her enough to give her the guts to take his case in a dark forest in the middle of the night. It reflected that Abhay will always try to run away from the promise of a love land and Piya will always be on heels , making him believe that even though forbidden , their love is for real.

I may be wrong but I feel that Piya would be the happiest person on this earth if Abhay treated her nicely even once. Abhay hurts her and it hurts Piya very much.

P.S- Piya will surely take Abhay's case regarding Maya in future. But whatever is between Abhay and Maya is STRICTLY not Piya's business 'coz it is on the periphery of supernatural.

PKYEK is a very slow story but it is very engaging and I am a BIG Ekta critic. Considering that , I think PKYEK has got everything right except PACE.

its like this connection already explains his actions to her heart...she just need to give it reason in her mind aswell....she knows what he does is not what he actually means to do...she treated him exactly like a mother would treat her child who's been wrong....'dont u dare to lie to me'

their scene today made me even more restless for a speedy progress in their track....the way she stopped him with her hand...and he just turn around...both expressions when she said 'u r afraid'....it was just....wow....their intensity makes it so hard to deal with the sloowwww track....but as us say...slow but engaging....intresting n unpredictable...dark n addictive.

Ekta is gonna kill us with these two.

Piya and Abhay both really do hold high regards for Panchi, that they actually were ready to talk to each other. So, they go to the jungle where Abhay as usual tells her there is nothing to talk about, but Piya wants some answers, she refuses to let him leave until he tells her what issues he has with her. She even goes on to say that there is something for sure that is between them because this is not how strangers would behave, true. And Abhay did stay there. She asks him that what is it in her that repels him, is he scared of her being close to him ?! Well, of course he is. He will not admit it, but oh well .... He doesn't want to be close to her because it resurrects his feelings, it brings out the man in him, and it brings out the destroyed man whom he hides behind his arrogance. He hates it, but can't help it. He replies to her that he isn't scared of her. And in an attempt to make her leave that place, he pushed her - she falls and hurts herself. He does take a step forward to help her, as soon as he realizes what he did, but on seeing blood he steps back. He couldn't stand the sight of it and thus he asked her to leave immediately. Piya did notice that something was happening to Abhay, and she was scared, she ran. But today again Abhay did what he did, for Piya. He indeed fought the monster in him for Piya.

Loved this part. Very well said. He affects her a lot and she knows it. Piya doesn't understand why it affects her, but she knows it does. There is this strong and powerful connection. Well, yeah she would be happy, if he is nice to her even once. Aah, a forbidden love story it is.

I really want to know about this Maya-Abhay issue. Piya was surely interfere in this. Lets see. Yeah the pace is slow, but like you said the story is engaging.

Piya takes chances with Abhay , knowing that he is capable of hurting her. And this is what Abhay needs. Someone who is not scared of him and is willing to fight his temper to bring the man behind the monster to the fore. Before today , i didn't know that Piya was actually that hurt by Abhay's behaviour.

I agree. And it was very shocking to hear these things from Piya - that he affects her and it matters to her, a lot. It was very unexpected. Piya is breaking the walls which he had built and it is very much needed. She does realize that they both affect each other a lot, she doesn't know why, but she does know that it is impossible for her to really hate this 'rude arrogant batameez jerk'. But something is there between these two so called strangers and it is useless to deny it .
