Hi there! I'm quite with you on this topic.

I find it really PATHETIC how most TV serials almost always resort to this cliched guy saving girl business to start their love stories.
Firstly it's very unrealistic. I've NEVER seen a girl fall and guy catch her. And whenever I'm in any sort of trouble I have to use my own voice and my own bag to save me. Even my friend who has a boyfriend has to do the same. He can't be there to protect her all the time, can he?

Secondly it's very very VERY BORING. We've all seen the oh-so-strong guy save the frail-delicate woman. Can you really enjoy a scene the 5667th time you see it! :S

And thirdly, and most importantly, it's a supremely SICK concept. I mean it kinda gives the impression that love is all about protecting a woman's modesty and saving her life. And it's SICK because it's so SEXIST. Like women can't do anything on their own at all and they've always gotta depend on some masochistic male for everything in life. Eww. EWW.

But I don't really think the fault is with Pia's characater right now. The situations are such that she cannot save herself and they REQUIRE a vampire stalker to save her. However, I have a problem with those very SITUATIONS! Let's have a scene where Pia helps Abhay in some way, please? It would make more sense and would be interesting. I'm tired of Abhay everalstingly saving and protecting Pia.
What about something that projects women in a more realistic and favourable light?
What about something less STUPID?
