Okay...so...This is my first post in this forum...So hi everybody!!

Getting back to the topic - There was one thing I didnt like in the twilght series and now in this serial. It how weak the female character is. I wish Piya (Or Pia) was just a little bit stronger. And didnt need Abhay to come running into the forest to save her every single time.

I like her when she talks back to Abhay and shows him she is not as frail as she looks. I really like that. The damsel in distress theory is so passe...

I know, when Abhay comes and saves Piya, picking her up in his arms...Its a sigh worthy moment. But I am getting rather...lets say...bored of how many times Piya falls into trouble and Abhay has to come save her.

I would just like to see the other side of her, sometimes. The side which is not afraid of Abhay and his (awesomely) hypnotic eyes.

True, but the damsel is distress almost describes Ekta. 😆 It's not just in her story, most love stories begin like that actually, the girl trips, the guy catches her, flying dupattas etc etc.. and a month later, oh dear, Eternal love story ❤️ passe alright, 😆

I liked the tough Piya a lot more, like the one who slapped Misha back and said "you too"! That's more like it!

LOL. Agree with you on that one. Its so cliche.

Oooh the slap. Awesomeness. Imagine if Piya slaps Abhay like that, instead of just ending up in his arms...That would make it so much more interesting ! :P

well...i have no problem in her beeing saved by abhay all the time,lol...nd i am sure the time will come where she has to be the extra strong one in the relationship do to its complications n keeping abhays identity n secrets safe...so i am enjoying it as it is:)

as for piyas character...what i like abt this character and the reason its my fav character...is that it has ups and downs as required n naturaly reflected for a charcater like her and her past...she isnt rhona dhona but extra emotional n deep compared to others in her sorrounding so it kind of justifies her actions.

It's the same old formula of making the leads fall in..
I wished their were real troubles in which Abhay had helped her,(Lyk falling frm peak-but only onces or twice not every single moment dat's heights) though yesterday scene was drool worthy but yes rather stupid..from both..y Abhay always follow her may be coz Pia reminds him of 'Her'..n Pia y did she went in the woods..k may be she was drunk dat culd be the highlighted reason but, still she knew dat she was in drunken state..she shuld have been stayed their with Misha..
Sumtimes this saving business of Abhay n than getting angry on the same reason makes me feel sick..but dat does not mean I hate dis business of Abhay..
Rather I wuld prefer a worthy situation wherein Abhay is saving Pia..but still I ❤️ Abhay's Protecting Pia all the time..

I'm not really minding her 'weakness' but yes, I would love to see her stronger. In fact, even if Piya is not strong, she can at least fake it!! That'll actually be the best. Piya faking her strength, Abhay seeing through it and saving her anyways! 😊

@ Nidiz - Omg. I so agree. I dont mind the whole man-saving-damsel in distress thing. It fine. But I would like him to save her in....er...lets say...more save-worthy situations. Lol.

well if we go back up to our child hood fairytales.. its always has been the same concept..but every time it was in a different ways!! be it Cinderella or Snow white or ..etc😆..so yeah its a cliche'!...but i kind of like it😉..

however i dont think Piya is shown to be weak!..and the times Abhay has resceued her were all fully justified ..and even the strongest girl or man wouldn't have survived on their own the situations that she has gone through!

let me explain my point!..the first time he rescued her from falling..what would have any other strong person, could have done when the robe that he or she is hanging from gets cut?!..the answer is nothing, they will still fall to their death!

same goes for being frozen out of shock in front of the speeding truck!..

again in yesterday episode she was drugged and wasn't thinking straight!..anyone in her position no matter how strong he or she was would behave irrationally, would be lost and would collapse, so she did in the wood at the night time!

nothing of the above indicates that she is weak!..on contrary when always lashes against Abhay and retaliate against anyone who abuses her ..so i think she is pretty much strong!
