Part 1

It was a foggy morning, as Piya, Misha, and Panchi Dobrial stepped onto the grounds of their new college, Mount College. Their family had just moved from Delhi to Dehradun, and all three girls were excited to make new friends.

"Kya mausam hai yaar! I love it – kitna alag hai Delhi se, hai na?" Piya jumped around excitedly.

"Arre Piya, logon ko pehle ilne tho do…phir tera yeh bubbly nature nikaal….itne subhe subhe kaise itna excited ho sakti hai tu?" Misha asked her, rubbing her eyes.

Panchi smiled fondly at her youngest sister, and said "Tu iksi baat mat sun Piya. Main jaanthi hoon ke tumhe humse zyaada jaldi dost mil jayenge."

Piya just smiled back at her sister, hoping that she would, indeed, make new friends fast. "Didi, tumhe Danish jiju ki bohot yaad arahi hogi na?"

"Haan, lekin hum roz phone pe baat karenge, aur main jaanthi hoon ke hum jaldi milenge…patha nahi kyun aisa lagra hai jaise yaha tum dono ko bhi koi special milne wala hai…"

"Eeew….Didz, please is topic ko aur math badao…." Misha growled at Panchi.

The three of them continued walking through the campus towards the principal's office, where he helped them get settled with paperwork and maps of their classes. He was especially proud to have Piya there, as she was a scholarship student. It showed that even though she was rich, she liked to work for herself and not rely on her family's influence. The principal told them to ask Kabir Raichand for any help they may need, as he was one of the college's best students, and one of the most involved. "He's very reliable and is a good boy. I have known him for a few years now, since they moved here. His parents have brought him up well. I know he wont take advantage of you young beautiful girls" said the principal, smiling.

Meanwhile, a Rolls Royce pulled up in the parking lot of the school. Inside it were two extremely good looking young men.

"Aaj teen naye ladkiya arahi hai humare school main….bachke rehna Kabir. You know how you get….mujhe hamesha dar lagta hai ke tum ek din hamari secret batado ge kisi ko." Abhay said in a low voice.

Kabir just laughed at his brother, shaking his head. "Arre yaar, just relax. I can keep a secret. Tu bas jalta hai mujhse ke tu apni pyaas ko mere jaise control nahi kar sakta. I'm absolutely fine…"

"Yeah right. Mujhe kitne saalo mein waisi pyaas nahin lagi hai….whatever. Just be careful around them, Kabir."

They both stepped out of the car and started walking towards their first class. Abhay looked down as he walked, and Kabir was waving to all the girls who were smiling at them both. Suddenly, Abhay bumped into Piya. Startled, she dropped her books.

"Arre yaar, dekhe ke nahi chalsakthe kyat um?" yelled Misha, as she bent down to help Piya pick up her books. Abhay quickly gathered the rest of the papers and handed them over to Piya, who smiled at him.

"Sorry" Abhay said, in a low voice.

"No problem, ho jaatha hai kabhi kabhi…Hi, I'm Piya." She smiled at them both.

Kabir suddenly started smiling extra wide, and ran his fingers through his hair.

"My name is Kabir, and this is Abhay, my brother. Na jaane humne kya acche karam kiye hai, ke hume yeh honor mila, kit um jaise khubsoorat laadki se mile aaj. Are you new here?"

Piya blushed, and Panchi nudged her with her shoulder. Abhay just narrowed his eyes at Kabir.

Misha jumped at the name. "Kabir, as in Kabir Raichand? Tum tho hamari madat karne wale ho na?"

"Yep, guilty as charged. Main tum logon ki madat karunga." He smiled at them, then looked at Piya, who just was smiling at him.

"Kitni khoobsurat hai yeh Piya. Isse pehle maine itne pyaare chehre ko nahin dekha. Aur, iske face pe zara sa bhi makeup nahin…a natural beauty. Iss pet ho meri gift zaroor chalegi." Kabir thought to himseld.

Abhay growled at Kabir, "Maine tumse car main kya kaha tha, yaad hai na?" Then he whispered in Kabir's ear "Iss ladki ko math fasao apni power ke saath. Yeh bohot positive aur bubbly lagthi hai…agar patha chala na isse, tho yeh zaroor hamara raaz sabko batha degi."

Kabir just laughed and shook his head. "I know Abhay. Just chill."

The wind suddenly started to blow, and Piya's hair flew towards Abhay's face. Abhay stiffened, with a confused look on his face. Then suddenly, he looked at Piya with anger, and quickly walked away from there. Everyone just stood there confused.

"Maine kuch galat kaha kya? Woh chala kyun gaya?" Piya asked sadly.

Kabir put his arm around her shoulders, and said smilingly "Don't worry Piya. Who aisa hi karta hai. Uski tension tum mat lo. Woh bura insaan nahi hai…I know he sometimes seems rude or arrogant, aur woh kisi se baat nahin karta. Lekin actually main, he is the sweetest guy ever. Uska nature bohot loving hai, lekin woh kisi ko dikhatha nahi hai."

The three sisters just nodded their heads, and Panchi and Misha looked at each other, wondering if they should let this new guy touch Piya like that. They knew their sister was very innocent, and didn't want anyone to take advantage of her bholapan. Then they remembered the principal's words, and decided it would be alright, as long as they watched over Piya for a while to make sure Kabir was alright.

"Abhay se phirse hamari mulakat kab hogi Kabir?" Piya asked.

"Jaldi hogi Piya. Waise, jab main yaha hoon, tho uske baare mein sochkar kya haida? Main hoon na."

All four of them smiled and climbed the stairs to their first class.

Part 2

"Wow...Main kitni thak gayi hoon! Aaj ka din bohot lumba tha, na?" Panchi tiredly walked down the steps of her last class, and headed for their car.

"Nahi tho, didi. Mujhe tho bohot maza agaya! Kabir ne hume achchi company di, aur ek pal ke liye bhi hamara saath nahin choda. Kitne achche ho tum, Kabir!" Piya smiled at her new friend.

Kabir smiled at her. "Arre, tum log ho hi itne pyaare, tumhe chodke jaane ka maan hi nahin kiya! Aur vaise bhi, principal sahab ne kaha tha mujhse ke main har vakth tumhare saath rahoo thaki tum logo par koi thaklif na pade. Tho main bas apna farz nibhara tha, lekin tum log tho bohot cool nikle!"

"Agar Abhay bhi hamare saath hota, tho mujhe aur acha lagta, Kabir. Kyunki woh bechara din bhar akela hi tha. Humare saath lunch tho kiya, lekin side mein behtke, aur koi baat nahi ki usne. Woh theek tho hai na?" Piya wondered.

"Tum us uloo ke pathe ke bare main itni chinta karke apna yeh khubsoorat chehra par wrinkles mat lana. Woh tho ek number ka idiot hai in sab baro main. Usse rehne do. Main hoon na tumhare saath." Kabir reassured her.

"Agar mere bare main shikayath karna hogaya hai tumhara, tho kya hum ghar ja sakthe hai?" Abhay came out of nowhere and asked Kabir, while glaring at him.

"Abhay, hum tumhare bare mein hi baat kar rahethe. Tum aleke the na poore din, isliye poochrahi hoon." Piya smiled at Abhay.

Abhay's POV

Yeh Piya itni enthu kyun hai mujhe leke? Zaroor yeh mera mazak uda rahi hai. Abhi dekhta hoon...Arre. Yeh kya hai...main uske man ko sun nahi para hoon...Yeh kya ho raha hain?! Aur yeh khusbhoo...Inti achi khushbhoo kabhi nahi ayi hai....mujhe bohot bhook bhi lagne lagi hai....shayad, bas ek baar – woh mere saath zaroor ayegi....Ek kone mein lekar uska....Abhay!! control yourself...yeh kya ho gaya hai tujhe? Bas kar apna yeh bakwas....Tujhe pehle kabhi takleef nahi hoon tera control rakhne main...tho yeh kya...Iss ladki ke vajay se main apne aap par kaboo nahi rakh para hoon....mujhe yahan se jana hoga...Yeh idiot ladki. Iski fault hai...mujhe kahi door jana hoga....I glared at Piya and ran to the car. I sat inside and closed my ears. I tried to breathe calmly...yeh Kabir bhi na, jab uski zaroorath ho, tab ladki ke saath hota hai. Aur jab uska saath nahi chahiye, tab ek machchar ki tarah mujhe tang kartha hai....I honked the horn at him.

"Ab chaloge ke nahin? Poora din nahi hai mere paas yahan waste karne..."

"Achcha baba, atha hoon. Bye guys!" Kabir waved to Panchi and Misha. Then he went closer to Piya and whispered in her ear "Bye Piya. Ab main ghar jaake immediately sone jatha hoon, ok? Aur tum bhi sojao, theek hai?"

Piya had a confused look on her face. I did too, until I read Kabir's mind. Oh god...koi bachao mujhe...

"Kyunki mujhe tum waha hi milogi na, sapne main? Kal thak inthazar nahi kar saktha main. Aaj rath thak bhi nahi...so, mein ghar jathe jathe hi tumse sapne mein miloonga...." Kabir leaned away from her ear and winked at her. Piya blushed – she looks like a tomato...Hai rabba...

"Ey Kabir. Meri behen ko bimbos ki tarah blush kyun karva rahe ho? Just go ok? Bye" Misha told him laughingly.

Main kyun yeh sab sun raha hoon? Yeh super hearing bhi na...Maine apni kaan phirse band kiye. Kabir smiled and ran towards the car...finally. As soon as he sat down, maine accelerator zorse press kiya, aur hum chale the vaha se.

"Itni der kyun ki? Main kya tumhara driver hoon kya, jo har vakth tumhara intazaar kartha rahunga? Agli baar tumhe chodke jaunga, aur phir tum un theeno se lift mang lena."

"Abhay, tujhe ho kya gaya tha, ha? Poore din tum jaise behave kar rahe ho, maine voh sab sambhala. Lekin abhi, jab Piya itne pyar se pooch rahi thi, tho yeh tune kya kiya? Mujhe use pacify karna tha, jab tu aise chala gaya thab. Maine kaha ke tujhe koi stomach pain satharahi hai, isliye tu aise chala gaya."

"Patha nahi bro, mujhe kya ho gaya tha. Bohot ajeeb sa lagraha tha. Patha hai tumhe? Main uska mann nahi pad saktha. Yeh pehli baar hua hai. Mere samajh mein nahi atha. Aur phir, woh uski khusbhoo...kitni achi thi...I dont know mujhe kya hoga tha. Main apne ap pe control nahi rak paraha tha...uss ladki ke vaja se, pehli bar maine almost apna control gavaya. Bohot dard ho raha hai mere throat mein. Maine kaise control phirse paya, sirf mujhe patha hai. Aur sar main bhi dard ho raha hai...maine bohot koshish ki uske mann ko sunne ki, lekin koi faida nahi...Mere samajh mein nahi atha main kya karu."

"Abhay, mere bhai, tu bas tension mat le. Dad koi tho jawab dhoondenge. So tu fikar mat kar. Agar tujhe bohot dard hota hai Piya ke paas, to phir paas mat aao. Anyways, who meri hai."

"Come on Kabir. Uska pehla din tha school main, aur tumne already usko claim kiya hai? Tumhe kaise patha ke yeh ladki teek hai hamare parivaar ke liye? Aur woh bhi aisi ladki, jo mujhe itna sathathi hai?"

"Patha hai Abhay, aaj pehli baar woh ghanti baji. Dad ne kaha tha na, ke Maa jab unke paas pehli baar ayi thi, toh unhe koi violin music sunaegayi? Vaise hi, aaj maine apne dil mein ghanti suni."

"Lekin Kabir, ghanti suna aur violin music suna dono alag baat hai."

"Nahi Abhay. Piya ke saath kuch aisa hua, jo pehle kabhi nahi hua tha. Main jaantha hoon, ke voh hamare ghar ki bahu zaroor banegi."

"Yeah yeah theek hai. Chalo andar abhi aur mujhe Dad ko batane do ke aaj kya hua."

We both ran inside the house.

Piya's POV

Kitna ajeeb hai yeh Abhay. Aur uska bahi kitna opposite hai, woh kitna friendly hai.

"Hey Piya. Kya sochne lagi tu?" Panchi asked.

"Are Panchi, yeh koi poochne ki baath hai kya? Obviously, woh apne naye boyfriend Kabir ke bare main soch rahi hai." Misha teased, as they entered the house.

"Shut up Misha. Aisa kuch nahi hai. Woh mera boyfriend nahi, sirf mera dost hai. Jaise ke tumhara bhi dost hai."

Nobody's POV

"Kaun sirf dost hai? Piya, tujhe pehle hi din pe boyfriend milgaya, beta?" Richa walked in from the kitchen and smiled at her daughter.

Jeet also walked in from the study. "Kyun, isme hairaan hone ki kya baat hai, Richa? Meri beti hai hi inti pyaari." He smiled fondly at his favorite daughter.

"Yeah papa, hum sab jaanthe hai woh kitni pyaari hai. Lekin aapko iss ladke se milna nahi hai kya?" Misha told him.

" Of course mujhe milna hai. Kyun beta, yeh kya chakar hai? Pehle hi din pe, kissi ladke ne tumhe kaise impress kiya, huh? Jeet looked at Piya.

"Nahin papa. Woh mera boyfriend nahi hai. Bas, woh aise hi mazak karaha tha. Lekin woh bohot acha hai papa. Usne poore din hamari madat ki."

"Piya maine tujhe aaj subha hi kaha tha na? Tum dono ko bhi koi milne wala hai yaha pe – someone special. See, aur woh tho immediately sach ho gaya." Panchi teased.

"Ab tu woh gaane ga Piya, teri meethi avaaz main – koi mil gaya..mera dil gaya...kya bathau yaaron...mein tho hil...gayi!!!" Misha started singing in a very off pitch voice.

"Kya tum log. Papa, dekhiye na yeh mujhe kitna satharahe hain." Piya complained.

"Haan beta. Yeh sab kya hai? Kyun meri bachi ko pareshan kar rahe ho tum log, huh?" Jeet pretended to be stern with Misha and Panchi.

"Aap bhi na, Jeet. Ab sab log chaliye, aur khana khathe hai. Aur kaun mila school mein?" Richa said.

"Mama, Kabir ka bhai-" Piya started to say.

"Ek minute. Kabir kaun?" Richa asked. "Arre mama, aap kitne slow hai. Kabir matlab obviously, Piya ka koi mil gaya wala. Uska lover boy." Richa looked at Piya, who was scowling at Misha, and laughed.

"Anyways, tu kya kehrahi thi, beta?" Jeet asked Piya.

"Papa, woh Kabir ka bhai hai na, Abhay. Woh bohot ajeeb hai. Hamesha akela akela rehtha hai, kisi se baat nahi kartha, aur mujhe totally ignore kiya. Aisa kyun kiya hoga usne?"

"Piya, lekin Kabir ne tho kaha tha ke woh sab se aise hi behave kartha hai, lekin woh actually mein bohot sweet hain. Yaad hai, na?" Panchi told her.

"Haan, lekin uska kya faida, jab woh sabse aise barthav karega, jaise woh is duniya pe koi meherbani kar raha hai, just by living!" Misha said, angrily.

"Lekin koi majboori hogi Misha. Ya phir woh bohot uncomfortable hoga hamare saath. Shayad ghar pe woh aur normal hoga, jaise Kabir ne kaha tha. Itni jaldi assume nahi karna chahiye, Misha." Piya reprimanded her sister.

"Dekho meri bachi ko. Kiski ke baare main bura nahi sun sakthi, even arrogant logo ke bare main, jisne uske saath bathameezi ki hogi tho bhi." Jeet hugged Piya, before pulling out her chair at the dinner table, so she could sit.

"Yeah yeah...Ab chodo yeh sab bathe, aur khana khathe hai." Richa said.

They all sat down and enjoyed their dinner of naan, jeera rice, dal, malai kofta, and bhajiyas.
