Heard the channel has asked the RM team to somehow come up with something new to pull in viewership since the Maldives and recent set of dramas are not working out. I read it on an RM fan's insta post but do not know whether i can copy paste it in the forum group.
Some of the mistakes the writer made: Not paying due attention to Mohan/Gunun independent relationship without the involvement of Radha, not confining the story of Mohan's family and background and allowing Radha to be a positive presence but not part of the family for some time. I mean she just barged into Trivedi family and took control which could have taken place gradually.
RM love story should have been allowed to develop naturally and slowly for us to accept RM romantic scenes.
Devotion seems fake at times after Radha pledging false on the Gita and demeaning Mohan's character to forcibly marry him though it was to save him and Gungun and the Trivedi family.
And another important drawback, copy pasting lot of Abhigya romantic scenes which the writer and producer know will not be effective on any other couple even if Shabir is involved since their standard was set far too high.
If I can say so and not meaning anything personal against the costars who are all really good, it is because of Shabir, the serial has reached the success it has till now. He has been perfect in his portrayal of Mohan which the writer took too much for granted and sidelined him focusing too much on Radha beyond viewers tolerance level causing this trp downfall.
Another latest glaring mistake was not placing Mohan and Gungun together in the plane and him being with his daughter rather than with Radha.
They say that the writer/producer are going to come up with focus more on RM romance to improve the situation.
Let us hope that since the cricket World Cup is over, might be the trps might increase with the required steps being taken.
