Another thing i love about the show and the reason i can watch it everyday and repeats is because it is a modern show and from that i mean that a lot of us can relate to the way they dress, talk and conduct themselves. It is set in a city in modern india and not some remote village that we can never imagine being close to...just my pov, not to put down any of thos shows but i can't watch them where the women are always loaded with jewels, even when they sleep and covered in cloth head to toe.....again just my pov, do not intend to disrespect anyone that likes that or is like that.

i agree totally with you here.....i also feel that ....right now tv is loaded with characters that i quite not relate with....infact shashank is the character i most relate with..he is a regular chilled out "real" guy who is young,lives in the city and whose parents are well to do....most of the shows who are gtting trps.....i am sure people love them but I just do not relate to them....the women folk are always crying...saas are doing constant atyachaar on their bahus...husbands are keeping quite....women folk all dressed with heavy sarees and jewellery ALL THE TIME....every thing either set in a rural setting or set in small town india....please when i want to see tv...i want to see some entertainment....some light scenes, some beautiful romance, some beautiful people...NOT ORDINARY people...but i guess realism gets trps...but i wonder are trps generated in only these settings?...whatever happened to feel good stories of rajshri and yash raj...the movies...
even shahrukh khan has said all over the world its only love stories which always do well ...why is it such a big sin to love a love story on tv?....
