Hey everyone, I'm sure you're not expecting me back this soon, but I feel like updating before school starts again. But this does not mean I don't get comments on the previous chapter, if you haven't commented then you can do so together. Anyway, here it goes again. Enjoy...
Chapter Nine
It was extremly late when The Rai's and The Das's left for their respective houses. However in this time period they had planned their next family holiday, with the Das's this time included also.
'Dad what are we doing in the two week break we recieve from office?' asked Shashank, eager to relax, know that he had been doing a lot of work, all due to Prateeksha making him so.
'Good question son. Urm Vikram thus year we should all have a huge family holiday, all three families combined. What do you think?' Subhash asked.
'I think it's a great idea. So Millind you think it's possible, coming on holiday with us this year?' Vikram then futher asked Millind.
'Uncle that seems like an great idea. Prateeksha, Aziz, Araina you dont mind do you?' Millind then asked.
With all three nodding the head in a no sign, Subhash looked pleased.
'Then it's settled, we are going to together. When are holidays again?' Subhash asked openly.
'In two days.' replied Shashank, quicker than anybody.
'Son it looks like your in a hurry for a break. okai so let's decde where we want to go, then I can sort tickets out. Ideas bacho?' Subhash asked.
'Rome'
'Paris'
'Carribean'
'Goa'
'England'
'New york'
Everyone laughed at the remarks of the children who blurted out their ideal place at the same time.
'Bacho, hum yeh sab jaga toh nahin visit karsakte hai. Let's all agree on on idea.' Subhash said.
A bikker spread with everyone arguing of where they want to go. Vikram, Subhash, Millind, Sonia and Nandita just laughed at the antics of the children. The dadis however were not pleased. After about five minutes, and no agreement had been reached, there was a sudden scream. It went silent almost immeditly.
'Tum Bacho 'abb kuch nahin bolo ge.' screamed Shashanks Dadi. All the children nodded in agreement.
'Humne decide keya hai ke hum family holiday pe kithar jaygee' Suhannis Dadi said.
'Where 'maa?' asked Vikram.
'Koi boring se place hoygee.' whispered Shashank so only the six youngsters could hear.
'Puttar we are going to go to the .........' Shashanks dadi said.
Everyone looked tensed at where they were going to have to go.
'The.... FARMHOUSE!'
Silence spread throughout the room. Both dadis looked worried and wondered if they didn't want to go there.
'Dadi tushe great ho!! Why didn't we think of that!' Screamed Shashank.
Everyone burst out laughing at Shasahnks remark.
'So it's settled, we will go to the Farmhouse. We will have to leave very early so I think everyone at the Manhortra Mansion at eight am sharp.'
'Dad eight, isn't that a bit early?' asked Shashank.
'No beta that's fine. You will have to get up, you lazy person' Replied Subhash.
'Also I think we sould split into cars know. So firstly who wants to drive?' asked Subhash.
'Dad, me and Ronak will take our cars' Said Shashank.
'I'll take mine, so will Aziz' said Millind.
'Urm I'm sure that's enough but I'll take mine just incase.'said Vikram.
'Fine, me, Nandita, and Sonia can come with Vikram. Millind beta you can take the dadis. Left over are three cars and you six youngsters. Sort that out between you.' Said Subhash.
'I think that's all. I will call Ramu Kaka, and tell him we are coming in two days.' continued Subhash.
'Dad do we still have to go to office tommorow?' asked Shashank trying to get of work.
'Beta nahin, you all have tonight and all day tommorow to pack for two weeks, and go into town for any new clothes other things you need' Replied Subhash.
'Okay dad.' answered Shashank happily as he got the day of work.
It was settled. After about three hours, the family holiday to the farmhouse for two weeks, was going to leave in two days exact. After everyone had left, Dadi had gone off to sleep, so had Subhash and Nandita. Ronak and Shashank sat in the lounge.
'Urm Shashank I need to tell you something.' Ronak started.
'Yeah man, what's up?' Shashank replied.
'This is hard for me to tell you, but...... Dude I'm in Love.' Ronak finally blurted out.
Silence was swept in the room, until Shashank got up, and so did Ronak.
Walking upto him he pulled Ronak into a hug, smiling.
'Dude I'm so happy for you. Well actually I already know, but still I'm glad you told me personally' Shashank said.
Confused Ronak pulled out of the hug and looked at Shashank.
'What, how do you know?' he asked.
'Well when we came back, you and your jaaneman had just reached and we saw you hug, you giving her your bracelet.' Shashank said whilst grinning.
Blusshing Ronak looked down. Then jerking back up he asked, 'Who's we?'
'Prateeksha' Shashank said.
'Oh crap, woh Shahank what did she say? Was she angry? Did she not realise that I was with Araina?' Ronak blurted out three questions all at once.
'Chill dude, yes she did realise it was Araina, no he wasn't angry, and she said she was happy, but did ask me your bio data first, to see if you were a decent man' Shashank answered all his questions.
Both brothers continued talking, and Shashank asked all about Araina and how and where they admitted their love, therfore including the kidnapping part.
Meanwhile, at the Das residence, Araina was sitting in Prateeksha's room, watching a film, which they actually weren't watching.
'Didi, can I tell you something?' Araina asked.
'Bol na gudiaa.' Prateeksha replied.
'Didi mujhe pyaar hogaya.' Araina blurted out. She looked up to see Prateekshas reaction and discovered her smiling.
'Didi?' she said confused.
'I'm very happy for you.' Prateeksha said.
'What you knew? How?' Araina asked he Didi.
'Well when we were coming back, we saw you and your ashique hugging and him giving you his braclet.' Prateeksha explained.
Smilig Araina hugged Prateeksha, then bolted back asking, 'Who's we?'
'Shashank'
'Oh god, Shashank Bahia saw us, was he angry? How did he react? What did he say?' Araina also blurted out.
'Aree baba, he was happy for his brother and you, he said he always wanted to see Ronak smile, and you made his life perfect' Prateeksha replied.
Ariana and Prateeksha carried on talking and Araina told her Didi everything, also inkiding the kidnapp and how Ronal saved her. Prateeksha was sad why she wasn't told but was filled with relief when she saw how much Ronak cared for her.
'Chal apne bracket toh dikhaa?' Prateeksha said.
Araina showed it both sisters continued for the rest of the night.
The next day, evryone was busy packing in their respective houses. It was planned at one in the afternoon, the six youngsters would go shopping for any last minute neccessities. At half past twelve, Ronak, Shashank and Suhaani came round to the Das residence. Millind had gone to office to finish some last minute work.
'Hum agayee!' shouted Shashank as soon as they entered the house.
'Bahia, we could hear your car a mile away. Why do you insits on driving with so much gas.' Araina said. Everyone laughed at this remark.
Everyone got ready, and went outside. They where all going to go in Shashanks car, as there was only one extra person, as no one wanted to drive. Shashank and Robak sat up front, with suhaani, Araina, Prateeksha and Aziz in the back. Within an hour they reached town, and all walked in. That split up into groups, the girls an the boys. All went there separate ways shopping.
Araina got some new skirts and tops as she was tols thewheather was really hot there. Suhaani resulted in some really nice trousers and marching tee shirts. Wereas Prateeksha bought some beautiful summer dresses along with some plain shalwar kameez.
They met the boys at the food court, and all sat down round a table.
The waiter came up to them to ask what they wanted, and they all ordered. Ronak really wanted to talk to Araina bit she was busy talking to Suhaani.
He decided he would get her attention. She was sat around about opposite them, so he moved his foot and lightly kicked her foot. She looked up and saw Ronak giving her michevious grin. Araina blushed looking down. He kicked the foot again, and she smiled at him. He was about to tap her foot again when the waiter came with their food. Ronak moved his foot back, and everyone started to eat.
'Shashank Bahia, have you been to farmhouse before?' Araina asked.
'Yes, we went a couple of years ago, meaning me, Ronak and suhanni. It's really nice. You will like it.' replied Shashank.
'Wow, I'm really looking forward to it know' said Araina excitdly.
They continued chatting, and after an hour or so, they all got up and started to leave. Whilst walking everyone had gone ahead, but Prateeksha was slowly trodding behind with Ronak.
'Ronak, next time you want Araina's attention, tap the right foot' Prateeksha said winking, and then walked off. Shocked Ronak realised that all the time he was tapping Prateekshas foot. Embarrased he walked upto the rest and avoided Prateeksha's gaze.
That arrived to there respective homes, all looking forward to the fun packed holiday coming.
