Is Prateeksha older than Shashank?

So I started watching the show from the when Prateeksha came to Shashanks interview, so I don't know if they explained the age differences. Shashank is Araina and Sumo's friend, who are both younger than Prateeksha because Araina is Prateeksha's younger sister and Sumo is Araina's younger sister, sooo how old is Shashank? I'm guessing Shashank and Araina were not school friends cuz that would make Shashank younger than Prateeksha... Are Shashank and Araina best friends cuz their parents are family friends? That seems to be the only way that Shashank could be older than Prateeksha...

No Shahshank is 24. The day when he was getting engaged to Sumo he told araina that in his 24 years he has'nt met with any girl that can make him feel that he loves her and wants her.

no they r very old family friends and both araina sumo n shanky went to same school n all that and being together since childhood... so thats why they r like best friends n he himself said that he is 24 yrs old in shanky's engagement day.. and suhani still around like 17 or 18 but their her family is scared she mite attempt to suicide again if shanky didnt marry suhani...

and araina is 19 she is NOT 24 or something

Its really confusing yaar but I guess that Shashank and Pratz,both,are the same age...

shashank and prateeksha are both 24, mentioned in the previously episodes. araina is 19 and sumo is 18. i think they are best friends cuz they are family friends.

Thanks for clearing that up guys! Yeah I was super confused, it didnt really make sense. So im concluding that they are family friends, shashank is older than both araina and sumo and is the same age as prateeksha. if he was younger itd be weird lol!
