I completely agree with what you have written regarding DT promotions Sabrina but see the thing is that we have to look at how things have gone with some DT members in the past [I dont think I need to make examples]. Priya Di [our new admin] is very strict regarding promotions now. The already existing members of DT have been promoted because the channels/shows were in dire need of promotions so it was a much safer bet to go with people who have experience in this field rather than taking on a newbie. However, we have CM's now so they will be taking newbies under their wings and promoting them as well and the DT will make sure we won't be repeating the same mistakes as we did in the past. Plus Jyoti and Rosh are good DT members so they will be excellent idols for newbies wanting to join the DT :)

But that's the issue, why can't the DT just give chances to "newbies" if you want to call it? It's not like if they (newbies) mess up this site will shut down or something. All in all there'd probably be another DT member for this section.

Hi sweety! I agree with what Jot said, and we really hope you understand. 😳 As for the site shutting down and all, things might not go that out of hand, we agree. However, the recent issues were so harsh that it threatened the site directly, with it's safety and all. And that was do to some DT members. So, we are starting to take real caution. The site may not shut down, but as of what we saw personally, it could have, and that worried us. Plus, if not the site shutting down, it can still cause chaos nah? 😳

Listen yaar, we completely get were you are coming from. We love getting new members into DT, and seeing promotions! It gives chances to deserving members, and you are right there are loads of deserving members. They won't be left in the dark for sure! If not now, in the future they will surely get their positions! And as Jot said, currently it is being worked on. 😊

So, just hope for the best, and know that we agree but we have a lot of factors to consider.

Thank you so much for your thoughts though! It's nice to see how much you want to see hard working members be appreciated in such a way! 🤗

How do you know there wont be any new DT additions in the future to this forum or any other forum for that matter? Newbies do not have enough experience to deal with members unless they have guidance from an experienced DT member and before today there were no channel mods to guide the new members thus experienced DT had to be brought in because there were a lot of issues with KHM forum members in this forum and BDKTH :) It's not about messing the site but merely dealing the right way with people because we do have a handful of problematic members. As I have said before, there are now CM's for the hot channels so they will be guiding new members down the DT path :)

Did I ever say there won't be new additions? That wasn't even my point, don't twist my words please. I said that the people who active and meet the requirements should be able to become apart of the DT. They're not babies, they don't need to be given a hand to handle nor a way to lead.

And I can see just how the DT "guides" members. (:

@ sabrina - My intention was not to twist your words rather I was simply saying we cannot start off with new DT members for new forums but as the shows progress there will def. be more additions being added to the DT :) And actually new DT members are exactly like babies. They do need to be taught all the rules of the sections and above all they have to be taught how to deal with members. Dealing with members is a requirement of DT that cannot be met before being part of the team so someone has to oversee the member to DT interaction :)

Plus there were new DT additions even in this promotion list where completely new members were signed onto the DT and the main thing was that they had someone more experienced being promoted along with them :)

And once again, I didn't intend to twist your words as you know that is not my style.

Ofcourse they can and thus the reason why Priya di has been working hard to get the normal members to be promoted. I was also a normal member once upon a time and I completely agreed with your first statement that we should be promoting new members but that just won't be such a great idea for new shows that don't have at least one established DT. I want to see new members promoted too and and I am a huge supporter of it as long as its being done along with established DT members :)

And once again I honestly didn't intend to twist your words :)

Umm, I see how the DT doesn't want new members for a new show just yet, however they can be lended some help and advice. It's not necessary to have an "established" DT first.

Sabrina I completely get your point but what I am telling you is that there will be new members being promoted just like there were this time around. Just because they weren't promoted for this forum doesn't mean they are not being looked at :)
