Recap: "Tum coffee banaoge? Coffee banana atti hai?" She knew that when it came to the kitchen, the most he could do was pour water into a glass. That's it.

"Of course atti hai. Mai….Mai abhi banake deta hu." Yep. He was stuck now. How was he going to make coffee? He had never even stepped into the kitchen.

"Shashank, tum sach me jaante ho?" She was not sure if she heard him right.

"Tum behtho mai abhi lata hu!" He patted her cheek and headed towards the kitchen.

Part 3

She watched him leave. But she didn't miss the confused look on his face that appeared as he stepped in. She left out a little chuckle and pitied his situation. But finding a great opportunity, Kajal went into the kitchen following him and stood at the doorway.

Kajal watched her silly husband try to find a pot. He had to make coffee the traditional way because the coffee maker was not working. He took out a mug and filled it up with water. He poured the water into the pan and heated it. He poured a spoonful of coffee powder into the boiling water. After completing that task, he turned around and walked towards the fridge to get the milk. But he stopped in his track as he saw her standing there.

She was leaning peacefully against the wall watching him. But seeing his fake-angry eyes, she stood up straight and tried her best to hide her smile.

"Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?" He folded his arms across his chest and gave her an angry look.

"Kuch nahi. Mai toh sirf yeh dekne aayi thi ke mera kitchen sahi salamat hai ke nahi." She chuckled when she saw him gape in surprise.

"How mean! Tumhe muj par inta sa bhi bharosa nahi hai? He was acted as if his heart was hurt.

"Ab mera dil sirf ek hi gana gar aha hai…." He paused for a second. Here starts his nautanki again she thought.

Shashank put up a crying look on his face and sang in a sad tone.

"Dost dost na raha, pyar pyar na raha. Zindagi hame tera, aitbaar na raha, aitbaar na raha." He had his face covered with his hands and was pretending to cry.

"Accha accha, theek hai. Mai jaa rahi hu. Aur please yeh rone dhone ka natak bhand karo." She laughed at his naughtiness.

"Kitna natak karta hai yeh!" Kajal mumbled as she walked out of the kitchen and settled herself onto the couch in the front room.

Shashank gave himself a victorious pat on the back on continued his task.

After waiting for a whole 15 minutes for one cup of coffee, Kajal was frustrated. She had been sitting on the living room sofa, huffing and puffing in anger. She could have been sleeping right now. But no. Mr. Shashank has to make coffee right now. She was debating in her mind to go in and question him or not.

Right then, her gaze fell on the tall, muscular figure that was approaching her from the kitchen.

Finally, she thought, her Swami had brought the Prasad she was waiting for.

He slumped onto the couch next to her and held out the coffee mug.

"The best coffee in the world is READY!" He said proudly. Kajal felt her heart jump in joy as she saw the smile on his adorable face. She took the mug with and smiled as she took a quick sip.

The taste of a sugary sweet, strong coffee filled her mouth. She loved it. Not because it was the best coffee that she ever tasted but because, for the first time, Shashank had made something for anyone: something for her.

"It's really good." Kajal told him after taking the first sip. Shashank gave her a victorious smile and tried to take the mug.

"Really? Let me taste it." He also took a sip.

"Wow! Mujhe nahi pata tha ke mai itni acchi coffee bana sakta hu." He nudged his elbow against her.

Kajal took the cup from his hands.

"Yeh mere liye banayi hai. I'll drink it!" She said.

But Shashank was in a naughty mood so he wanted to tease her. He took the mug from her once again.

She strikes to take the mug again. She gets a hold of his wrist and is about to take the mug. But she instantly stops when she hears him scream. She gets really scared because she knew that she hurt him in some way.

He mentally slapped himself for screaming. Now she would question him as if she was a lawyer and if he lied, she would catch him in a microsecond.

She knew something was wrong in the picture. He was trying to hide his eyes from her eyes. She glanced down at his wrist and knew something was wrong. She gently held his wrist.

But he wouldn't budge. He tried to get over the topic and handed the mug to her.

"You're right. Yeh maine tumhare liye banayi hai, tum peelo." He gave her a tempting smile as if he was hiding his pain.

What did he think? She knew him from head to toe. And with Shashank, it didn't take a rocket scientist to know he was lying.

"Kya hua?" She asked him in a serious tone. He gave in. There was no way that he was going to win this battle against his lady Hitler.

She brought his wrist closer to herself and gently pulled up his sleeve to reveal his wrist. Her eyes instantly welled up upon seeing the scarlet colored rash on his soft skin. She gently traced her fingers over the burned skin.

"Who galti se pot pe haath lag gaya tha. But I'm fine. It's just a slight bu-" He couldn't continue after he saw her tear welled up eyes. He couldn't believe it. This was just a slight burn. And she was crying because he got hurt.

He didn't know why, but he despised to see those precious tears pour out of her beautiful eyes.

He placed the mug aside on the side table and then turned to face her. She had her eyes lowered and was still looking at her wrist. When she put his attention on her, she raised her gaze and looked into his indulgent eyes.

"I'm sorry….Meri wajah se-" She felt guilty for his wound. She wanted to ask for forgiveness but stopped when she felt his fingers over her mouth.

"Tumhari galti bilcul nahi hai. Bas tum rona bhand karo verna mai sach me naraz ho jaonga…" He warned her.

He noticed that her mood was still off. But Shashank knew just how to make her smile. Her smile was what he has always been living for. She was his life and when he married her, he had promised to never let her cry. He would fulfill his promise no matter what!
