Well, it got worse😕, the title is apt indeed, identity touble, loss confusion and so on.

Poor Aarti still afraid to voice her inner thought. She went thru the proceeding like an automaton, to shy to talk. I so get Neelam frustration and scolding to fight for herself. I guess her parents' education left a strong print in her, so much so that she can indeed help other but understand that her father will never tolerate her rebellion if she dares. It's really hard to see.

Ah Yash, it looks like he his mold like her father, toying with her emotions with this kiss, either demanding or sweet and rendering Aarti, even more, confuse and determined to submit in fear of her father. At least the wedding night was fulfilling and she felt passion😳 and the honeymoon was a nice break from her usual routine. She even shows some courageous step forward, but baby step for now.

Geez, can dragon Mama be any more awful? 😡Sometimes I wonder when adults dictate rules if they stop to think but apparently not. You could see that Gayatri just like to have power ("touch my feet", really. I thought it was supposed to be spontaneous), as a woman perpetuating some of the rules is just inconsistent and mean (loving the boy and neglecting the girl) especially the one toward the men. She doesn't need bahus, but slaves, literally with the fact that she wants them to forget their identity. She is a formidable, domineering woman and definitely could have run her father company, but again the rules prevented her from that, unfairly. It does not excuse her behavior but she seems to have directed her frustrations on her bahus and so obsess with maintaining the family image that she doesn't see the shortcomings. In a way, she is also a victim who could have chose to change things differently but no.😳 It is unfortunate how this still exist in today society, girls suffering even more at their mil hands.

Now Yash is still a mystery, but let's look at the clues; lying to his mother about planning a kid, yet they took a step to prevent that. His demanding afternoon tryst had actually help Aarti gain her strength back which she did enjoy. He was subdued with most of the family but open with Vidhi kids and younger bro. But then he yelled at her when she dare help with the design.., he humiliate her in front of Gayatri, then again she and Aarti end up with fewer chores...on one hand I want to clonk him on the other😡, well I don't know yet but he is getting on my last nerve. Although I want to give him the benefit of the doubts and believe that there is a purpose to his madness. After all, in a way his tantrum has resulted in a little freedom for the bahus, right?
