Thanks Divya for reading and commenting. Yes Satyendra is slowly realizing his mistakes and is trying to change but he won't be forgiven so soon and so easily.

In the next chapter I'll show Paridhi's reaction and then I'll post the Epilogue where I'll cover everything from Satyendra's redemption to forgiveness 😳

You said that you also know about a similar case which shows that it's a very common thing.

Like I mentioned, I had not planned to show any backstory of Paridhi but then when I remembered that incident I thought of using it to show that such things do happen in this world. After all the whole premise of this story was to show how girls are treated in some families so this twist only made sense.

Aakash and Ankit went through the same thing through which Satyendra went when he was a kid. To keep their father happy they turned a blind eye to other relationships. Luckily Aakash and Ankit have realized it while they are still young and unmarried. But Satyendra didn't and that's why he ended up ruining so many lives including his sons. And now that he has realized his mistakes he wants to redemp but he won't be forgiven so easily and so soon.

One more chapter and then the Epilogue will show how he will be forgiven 😳

it can truly lead to disaster and pain when parents project they own dreams onto their children without regard for the children's individuality and that they may not want the same thing. And here you have shown beautifully just how dire it can get, extremely so! brothers not only following their own dreams but mistreating their own sister just because she is a girl, have no regard for their aunt, and very own mother just because they are women. then a poor vulnerable girl left to her fate in an orphanage for being born a girl. why? just because of archaic beliefs passed down through generations and so harmful to grandchildren living in most patriarchal societies.

very controversial, but universal theme, penned wonderfully by you my Alien Didu 👏

Well that was unexpected😲 and trully horrifying for Satyendra family obsession with demeaning the feminine gender got seriously unhealthy and led to bad decisions, to say the least. Honestly getting rid of a child because it's a girl, is leaving me speechless, (incidentally, its not just men, for Suman to accept this sacrifice was also heartless) . In a way Aarti brother were also victim of their father behavior, Satyendra wasn't really interested in their life , just that he had boys he could parade around. Now I see that the shock of both revelations (his low life cousin deed and his sons interest in Aarti performance), started to instill a change in him. Ugh 😉, you did it again, make me want to give Satyendra a chance. I suppose deep down he wasn't bad, but was so under his father and grandfather teaching that he had to hardened himself to the point of cruelty and still he got a daughter with the biggest heart around, life irony. Today he started to redeem himself with finding Paridhi, and because he had nothing to gain I can now believe that he is truly sorry and trying.

Side note: although shocking, I learn a long time ago that reality can be harsher than fiction, after all we do get our inspiration from real life event most of the time. The real life "Paridhi" seems ruthless but she got lucky to be raised by 2 parents and maybe just maybe that was the only way for the other couple to gift a child to a couple that has been waiting for long (just trying to see the silver lining here 🤔)

Excellent Chapter

Disrespect and loathing towards females has begin with Satyendra's grandfather

and it was passed onto Satyendra's father this just shows how the Dubey men has

hardened themselves turning into stone , but worst every men has totally disrespected

their mother , never showed her affection and this kept on going on

until Satyendra and his cousin Narendra though both men were educated in business but had

no heart when it came to the woman folk in their family .

Narendra had given his new born baby girl away all because he had to remarry

in my POV I just feel Paridhi is now a self made lady , though she had to grow up in a orphanage

she wasn't exposed to such hatred like Aarti

Paridhi is better off without her coward father and I hope she exposes his true face to the world

Satyendra now realizes his mistakes and he is repenting for them but Narendra too needs to redeem himself
