~Once Upon a Deadly Sin~ My Winning Entry~

So yesterday I woke up to the news that I won the OS contest I entered in early March. I have no idea how I won the title as I was still expecting a contest but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?

I would just like to thank, firstly, my Alien Didu Nikki for encouraging and pushing me to enter the contest. Secondly, I would like to thank Sassie Sauce and Honey-Bee for also believing in me enough to take the time to read my entry, and give me their feedback and encouragement. The three of you, plus Puju have become very dear friends to me, and I love you all very much! 🤗

Thirdly, I want to thank the rest of my PV friends, and readers for always encouraging me and helping me improve on my writing skills, and giving me the freedom to explore concepts, however crazy they may seem. 😃

Coming to the contest entry, we had to choose one of the given Disney Animation Films and either come up with our own scene, or tweak a scene in the film to highlight one of the seven deadly sins: sloth, gluttony, lust, greed, wrath, pride, and envy. And the length was strictly between 500 to 1000 words.

I chose to write on The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, and I chose to focus on lust, but I also touched on pride. And of course I chose to create my own scene. And it was exactly 1000 words, way shorter than my OSes on AarYa 😛

I hope you will enjoy the OS even if you are not familiar with the film...

But I can definitely comment on your writing which I so ENVY (as you already know as I have mentioned it a million times).

I guess this contest was made for you to Win. And I was the source which connected you to the contest. Cause I saw the Contest Announcement Thread and I was the One who saw the Winner Announcement Thread.

When I read about this contest I knew it's not my cup of tea. Writing in just One Thousand words is like writing a Promo for me 😳

I immediately thought of my CCCians who could participate in it. I told you all about it and I was sure that you'd definitely take part in it. When Bee and Sassy said they can't participate I wasn't that surprised but when you said you can't participate I was SHOCKED 😲

And your reason was... You don't remember much about those movies and you won't be able to write in such a short notice.

Once again I was like "Are You Kidding Me?" 🤔

The girl, who wrote a whole painting scene at my behest in her OS "Art Piece!" in one day, the girl who wrote an whole chapter on CCCians hanging out with Aarti in DIM, in one day, that girl was telling me that she can't write an OS in 4-5 days 😲

I could have fainted.

But I am Nikki, once I make up my mind for something I don't rest till I get to finish it. When I make up my mind I don't give up that easily. So I had to FORCE you, pester you and threaten you to participate 😈. On top of that Jhil, Bee and Sassy also pushed you. (I feel as if this banner is made for us, cause that's what we do to each other)

Our push, our threats, our pestering, all worked cause you ended up writing the OS. 🥳
